Dr Victor Dirnfeld, failed me in my work disability…read more I was very very ill when I went to see him for his opinion if I was still qualified to receive work disability, he deemed me well enough to work for gainful employment. I believe he thought I was faking how ill I said I was. Sometimes I was well, sometime I was ill. He took I was well more then ill. He didn't even call my employers in which they would have told him I was an excellent and responsible worker. He only saw me one time and came up with that opinion. So because of him I was cut off my work disability and was to ill to start a regular job. I suffered tremendously from the thought of no money coming in. CPP now pays me disability benefits and I now qualify for the Disability tax credit. Sad though, I had to endure many ill days with no money coming in till CPP started paying me benefits. Years after I saw Dr. Dirnfeld, they finally discovered it was my gallbladder causing my problems and after removal I never had the abdominal pain and vomiting any more, though my lung was damaged due to aspirating food into my lung. So now I have severe breathing difficulties. My Point: not only did I endure many years of pain and suffering I also endured financial stress due to Dr. Dirnfeld's wrongful diagnosis He should have seen me more then one time to make a diagnosis that effected my life in such a terrible way

Sure ok I'll break the ice here being " no stranger to danger''…read more I have the dreaded hiatus hernia and went in yesterday for day one of the two day '' Esophageal Manometry and 24-hour ph monitoring tests'' First off there is a receptionist and a cramped little 5-6 chair waiting room. Dr. Dong ( An Asian man probably in his early 60's ) comes in about 20 minutes late and calls me into a small back room with a desk for him and a chair for me. my first impression is Dong is very robot-like in his nature showing no emotion or personality what so ever. his list of questions was read off like I was being interviewed by a computerized program, but whatever I'm here to successfully conclude an endeavour regardless of the Doc.'s demeanour. from here we went into the bigger procedure room, where I was met with a lady at a computerized terminal. and my seat beside her. The lady was quite nice and did exhibit a rather pleasant and caring personality as well as being very competent in doing her part in the procedure. Dr. Dong continued to be emotionless and not saying anything but commands which was a bit weird but staying focused... The whole procedure went off without a hitch... It felt uncomfortable at times but painless so easily tolerable. My leaving impression was if I rate this on quality of professionalism and competency I guess it was first class. Bottom line; They got this done quick, efficient ...and painless now it is the following day and I go back in 3 hours to get the ''24-hour monitor'' taken out ... and get back on the Dexilant
