Most recently I had cut my thumb and needed sutures. I arrived at the clinic at around 7:00 PM and was out of there with 7 sutures in about 45 mins. The staff are very friendly and courteous which frequently is an area that healthcare clinics ignore.

From the friendly greeting at the front desk to the very professional doctor who decided I was even sicker than I felt, I was in and out in less than an hour. I left with a nice set of instructions for my own care, and when my symptoms worsened two days later I returned and was (again) treated with empathy and understanding. Oh, and a prescription for strong antibiotics and bedrest! It's nice to know we have such a facility here in Bham, and that there's another option besides the ER when things are urgent but not to the point of dialing 9-1-1.

So I saw this clinic online and they opened at a good time and I just wanted to feel better. I immediately was greeted and within 10 minutes or less I was in a room with a nurse. The nurse and the md listened to my anguish and the md was right on the money with what was wrong. The Dr was extremely warm and inviting as well. The whole process (xray included) was less than 2.5 hours. I will be going here from now on.

It was ultimately approved, and I still wasn't told; not by Lisa or Mt. Baker Imaging. It wasn't until many months later that the NEXT providor caught it. The pain during this time increased until I could barely walk. They appear to care, but much falls through the cracks. Patients would be best advise to check their providers work for thoroughness and accuracy. Especially if you have a large patient file. They don't review the entire file, maybe the first few pages at best. They've cared for me since 2016, their providers last anywhere from 12-16 months. Did I not know how to contact one of the urgent care clinics (I did see after that they had these but not open til 1pm). Did I not know that I could get Azo at any drug store? From what I understand this is just to help with the discomfort but doesn't exactly treat anything. Maybe she was having a bad day. I don't know. But I wonder why people go into this line of work if they just diminish your reason for being there?

Lisa is incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely kind, and always honest. She takes the time to listen and explain things clearly, which makes every appointment feel supportive and thorough. The staff here is terrific as well from the friendly reception team to the nurses who do vitals, and the lab staff who keep everything running smoothly. I consistently feel well cared for from start to finish. The clinic is easy to access and there's plenty of parking, which is a huge plus. Overall, this is a place that truly values their patients.
