An easy choice and convenient to the train station is A&G Himalayan Fresh Food (which recently changed things up by *also* calling itself "Gang Chen Bodkyi Momo"), a cart that sits in a quiet part (aka dead zone) of the busiest intersection in all of Jackson Heights at 73rd & Queens Blvd. If it wasn't already obvious, momos are the item to get. On this cart they're labeled as "dumplings" but they have both veggie and meat versions. For a $5, one will get 8 of their steamed dumplings which usually come piping hot, all lined up in a styrofoam container and steaming into the air. Most of the time, the momos are plump, juicy, and go well with any of the condiments in the window. Be careful though, like Chinese soup dumplings, they can easily burn the roof of anyone's mouth or tongue from their pockets of hot soup. They also serve what they call bread, but it's more of a stuffed flatbread. At $8 for a large, it's easily the most expensive thing on the menu but for things like their potato curry ($3) it works well as a vehicle for soaking up the broth / juice. This also works well for any momo spillage as well and its condiments. There is also water / tea availble for a $1 each. There are also frozen momos available at $50 a sack and frozen quantities of bread as well. Surprisingly delivery is an option, just call 917-362-8082 or 212-920-0881 and be prepared to speak very slowly.

I believe this is a unleavened bread, as it was dense, weighty, and also a little crumbly texture-wise. This was pretty much confirmed when cutting a slice, as the profile showed an interior nearly devoid of air pocket crevices. The above comments aren't necessarily negatives but just observations. Despite the moniker the bread's sweetness level was tame, and the sweetness I tasted was not an unduly artificial taste, but more comparable to a honey flavor. It was a nice flavor though. Overall this was a pretty ordinary bread, IMO leaving it to be eaten as a side dish or (if eaten by itself) to be treated with additions like butter or some sort of fruit spread to impart more flavor.
