Being raised in Alaska, we were fortunate to even have willow trees out on the tundra, much less knowing what to do with our three citrus trees which needed to be cut back. After Monday's monsoon blew thru here in YUMA AZ, we were left with a huge limb dropped from our 20+ ft tall palo verde. This was the 2nd limb to lose in 2 weeks, with another weakened by the first loss. We made the sad decision to have the tree removed before it caused anymore damage to surrounding structures. We called Yuma Master Tree Services for an estimate; Miguel came by at the set time and gave a us a very reasonable estimate. We just had Miguel complete a big job of trimming five large trees at our residence and another lot in Cresta Gila. He is amazing!! No ladders, no buckets, no wood chippers and big crews but a professional tree trimmer who knows how to cut trees properly without damage to the tree from improper cuts and dirty blades. Miguel understands what is best for future growth and knows what kills tree growth and infects trees. I've lost trees because of improper trimming. Too many times trees are trimmed in artificial shapes that are not in the tree's best growth. I am so happy with the completed look of my trees!! Miguel was a life saver and extremely helpful. A tree fell on our house from the recent wind storms and it needed to be removed immediately for safety reasons. I randomly found Miguel's service through an internet search and gave him a call explaining what had happened. He was already in the middle of another job but stopped what he was doing to come help us remove the tree from the house, and he accomplished that job safely and quickly. Miguel gave me a fair price, then came back and began removing my very large lest mesquite tree that same afternoon. He cut the tree down, removed all debris, cut trunk and limbs into firewood, ground the stump below ground and was finished before noon the next day!!! Miguel quoted a price for the thinning of our citrus trees and fire cactus trees. After agreeing to the price, he arrived promptly the next day and unfortunately got some of the sap from the fire cactus in his eyes and had to leave early. When our tree was partially uprooted due to recent monsoon blast, Miguel was able and willing to come out on a Sunday to cut the tree down and clear out all debris. He came out earlier in the year to rescue a tree that was in danger of dying but was able to trim the dead branches and gave great advice to maintain care. The tree is doing quite well. read more
