Stay clear of this place. There are other carpet/tile companies you can shop at. If you go to this place on your own, you are out of your mind. If this place didn't have a contract with The Hall Brothers (a company with no pride, shameless, where good quality doesn't exist) they wouldn't be in business. Don't waste your time dealing with them over some defective job they did on your house. If they do (which doesn't come easy) you're just going to get the same exact result. If you want it to be done right you will have to hire someone else to redo their disaster. They suck, they absolutely without a doubt do not care about customers. They don't need to satisfy customers, they don't need to keep customers. Customers don't write them a check the builder does. A builder with identical work ethics. Think about it, what would you have to do to get them to honor the warranty and get at least descent work? Take them to court? It will cost you! My one and last time I dealt with this pathetic scum company is when they installed the carpet in my house before the windows were installed. When we went to check on the progress we walked into our house and saw brand new carpet with sand, saw dust, cut pieces of 2x4, nails and cut up pieces of drywall all over it. The windows were not due to be put in for another 3 weeks. This BS wasn't the only idiotic thing they did. They installed the wrong color carpet. We had brown tile with taupe color carpet. Taupe and brown don't go together at all. Guess what? It wasn't their problem the windows weren't installed yet" is what I was told. I responded "you should know better not to install carpet in a home without windows installed yet. They're not even done putting up the drywall." His response to me was, "listen, I'm not going to continue discussing this with you. As a favor I will send a guy out to shampoo the carpet and I don't even have to do that. My response, "I can't believe you guys did this it is so messed up."That is when I realized the color was wrong. I let him know that too. His response "we did not install the wrong color, what got installed was what was written down." His reply, "I'm done with this matter, its not our problem. Then he hung up on me. Unbelievable! There is only 1 answer to such poor poor service. The owner is a shameless, worthless, nasty scum bag. They have screwed over so many people and will continue on. Yuma carpets installed the tile in my shower. Grout is cracking and and the tile was installed in a manner that allows water to drain out and onto the floor and wall. I have called numerous times for the warranty repair. Easily 4/5 star install in a new home, the customer service is just lacking for warranty assistance After over a week the rep hasn't come to my house after my initial report. I waited an entire day on the 12th attempt to get my tile fixed. The contractor didn't even give me a chance to get to the front door to answer. read more

I wish I could give a negative star review. Mistake number one was purchasing a home built by Hall Brothers. Their subcontractor for flooring is Yuma Carpet and Tile. After the cheap linoleum flooring was installed incorrectly (by the builder) the floor turned pink in areas where the concrete had paint (since no sub floor was installed). After calling Yuma Carpet and Tile multiple times, I was able to schedule them to come inspect the defective floors. They were an hour late for this appointment. I then had to schedule the floor replacement during a time I could leave work to be present with the workers and move my refrigerator and appliances. Appointment one was rescheduled the morning of the appointment. The second appointment, the technician was two hours late, and showed up with no help. He also didn't have enough materials to do all of the areas. He replaced two of the rooms that needed new flooring. The quality of his workmanship was poor. The linoleum in the bathroom immediately bubbled up in the center, and the caulking around the edges was sloppy. I received no call back to schedule the rest of the work. I waited approximately one month- pink spots all across my house. I went in person to the store, explained the situation to Brooke. I asked if I could choose different flooring at a discounted price as the flooring they installed was defective. She never gave me a solid answer. She asked me to let a technician come look at the house (not sure why). They did, I got no follow on scheduled appointment. I called and asked for a quote for different material. Brooke told me she was waiting on Tammy. I called 3-4 times a week for three weeks. Same answer or no answer at all. I finally reached Tammy, I asked her for a quote. She was unable to provide me one. I told them I just want the same shit linoleum installed because I don't have the time to deal with this. They scheduled the appointment for this morning between 9:00-10:00am. I moved my appliances (again). I called the office to confirm their arrival because I have lost all trust in their abilities and my lack of trust was confirmed. Tammy informed me the technician could not make it until Thursday. I asked why I wasn't contacted. No intelligent answer received. I asked for her supervisor, she said she was the supervisor. This is one of the worst small business experiences I have ever encountered. Completely unprofessional, Disorganized and unacceptable. This company will not stay in business if it stays under this management. read more

We are second owners of a home this company tiled when built. We have 4 tiles in our kitchen that need replacing. We went to this business and they happened to have 4 tiles that we needed. This style tile is no longer made so we thought we hit the jackpot. These tiles usually cost $3 a sq. Ft. This company wanted to charge us $200 for 4 pieces of tile. This company is a disgrace! Small businesses want us to shop local....this is a perfect example of why lots of people don't do so. read more

In December 2015, we purchased a new home from Jacobson Homes which used Yuma Carpets and Tile for flooring. Shortly after purchasing, we noticed that one area of our grout began to crumble. We called them and they told us that it was our fault. We reached out again a year later after an entire area of grout was completely gone. Their representative Tammy told us the grout was "likely mixed wrong" and that they fired the person who did it because they did a poor job in other houses. After fighting back and forth, they made repairs only after we committed to making a purchase of tile for our office through them. The repairs were done in a grout color that was incorrect. Even after we paid $600 to restore our existing grout color to its original color (which I know it was because I picked it out), the new grout they installed to repair the old grout did not match - it was bright white. They must have either installed the wrong grout when they built the house or when doing the repair. After the repair, the repaired grout started crumbling just a few days later. They say the only repair they will make now is to install it with the same color in the same way, which will crumble again in 3 weeks. They don't care about customers or quality control. Larry is extremely unprofessional and a liar. We're now going to have to pay another company to come in and fix their work. read more

Brand new floor installed in new construction home with damage before occupying the property. They installed vinyl floor that is one whole piece but remediate the damage by gluing remnant pieces. They Look horrible. Poor customer service. Sending them out for a 3rd time to repair in 3 weeks because they refuse to replace the floor. They also installed the carpet in living room using remnants that had big ugly seams in three middle of the floor. They have a D- rating with the BBB. read more

If I could I would give zero stars. One of their managers Larry is so unprofessional, and lacks any follow through with his customers. customer service, and quality of work are severely lacking. They were the subcontractors on our brand new Hall built home. To start off, before we even moved in we told them the step-in to the shower was not done right. It slopes down from left to right and the tiles wouldn't stay on. And, our "upgraded" master shower has leaked out the back of the house from day one. After many many times of trying to contact them for service and repair, they came out to fix it after the plumbers determined it wasn't their work. Of coarse it still didn't fix the leaking through the back of the house after they completely rebuilt the shower. So Larry really wasn't pleased and took no ownership of they're work and said it wasn't their fault, but the plumbers. Again, still leaking. This time they tore out the bottom of shower and put some type of sealer over the newly poured cement floor and step-in, which by the way wasn't original to the house. Whoever installed the tiles put them over dirt and the step in was stacked wall brick over dirt which is why the tiles wouldnt stay on and the slope was there. Anyway, So far no more leaks. We will see if it starts again. We haven't addressed any of the other issues with them which include carpet that you can feel gaps and holes in the padding like they patched several smaller pieces of pad instead of full rolls, and laminate floors which are peeling up. I have no confidence or any more patience to deal with this company. I would never recommend these guys. Their commitment to the customers is a joke. Larry was more concerned with the cost to fix it right rather then solving a problem and making a customer happy. They should have done it right the first time. Yes they subbed for Hall Homes and are contracted with low bids and time lines, but THEIR name is on the quality of work that they put out and taking short cuts never pay off in the end. read more
