We actually had kind of a rocky start with another member of their staff, but Justin took over and made everything right. He really knows what he is doing, and helped us find the right carpet for our new home. After the sale, what really impressed us was how professional the whole outfit was. We were in direct contact with supervisors who kept us apprised of their plan each day and what the next steps were. A couple of weeks after the installation was complete, we had some questions about one of the seams. They sent out a supervisor and the installation crew to be ready if repairs were needed. Their installers are experienced pros and we feel like we got a great value for the price. We are completely thrilled with our carpets, too. Quality carpet makes such a difference. I needed to replace the carpet in my house. I was hesitant on how much it would cost since their was stairs involved and the master bedroom is large. I decided to stop in the showroom and I was greeted by John. He was friendly informative and not pushy. He explained the diff in carpet and padding. John explained they had an installation special going on and he quickly provided me a detailed quote off measurements I made. He never questioned my measurements or my competency. I got 3 diff options. I went home to think about it and returned to sign paperwork. The installation was scheduled within about a week and the crew showed up on time. Worked fast end efficiently they left no mess no problems. I am very impressed with the whole process from John's initial quote to the final Result. Everything was above and beyond my expectations. Big Bob's installed a new carpet in one of my bedrooms. It looked fine on the surface, at first glance. But later I noticed that the carpet seemed uneven in places -- as though the padding was defective, especially one low place as though there was a rip or hole in the padding. I never experienced that problem with my old carpet which was consistently firm. Also, they glued -- yes, glued -- the carpet in the closet. The old carpet had been installed with padding in the closet -- so they knew better. But, they glued it and did not inform me or ask me how I wanted it done. I was heartsick when I discovered what they had done. It reminds me of Fast Eddie, from the movie "The Hustler." Fast Eddie said -- anything can be great -- if a guy knows what he's doing -- when you're right and you know you're right -- you know it, you feel it -- some men never get to feel that way about anything. Right, you can be a great carpet-installer, the best, and give people a better life. But, some men will never have that feeling about their work. read more

I had some flooring installed and not only was it the same price as Home Depot but much better quality, everyone was super nice and professional. Unlike Home Depot who uses third party installer's Big Bobs installers are actually employees and did a outstanding installation job. Bobs is the only flooring company I will use. They are all over the customer with their "limited time sales" and have horrible service once they have your money. Carpet was laid incorrectly, scrap rate was huge. Before buying ask them the size of the roll to be used and for them to give you a diagram of how the carpet will be laid. (Where seams will be placed) They even charged for the installation of the carpet square footage that was not laid. They said "the time to measure was the same. If you choose to do Buisness with them, which I would advise against, Get everything in writing upfront. I can afford the cost of my mistake but many older customers can not. We bought tile for throughout our new home from Big Bob's Flooring & paid them to install the backer board & tile. We had been quoted $2.50 sf by a non-licensed contractor & 3.50 sf by Big Bob's. We are extremely happy with the work done by Eric & his helper Jose, Sr. They arrived at the expected time daily for the 10 days it took & worked hard all day. The quality of their work was very good & our floors look great. Most every day (maybe every day) the installation supervisor from Big Bob's came by to check on the work & progress. They finished 1 day early & did a stellar job. Obviously we are very happy we chose Big Bob's & happy with the crew they sent. Every element was very good. Jahna was terrific in the store - she help find appropriate carpets that were in stock, laid out the pricing clearly, helped with financing, and scheduled measuring. Great sales department, when ask to pay in full before installation could begin. We should have walked away. We paid to have them pull and replace base boards and haul everything off. They damaged walls and a cabinet while pulling baseboards. The flooring looked good for 10 months however the baseboards look like a jigsaw puzzle and walls were finally fixed when we hired interior painter. As for the floor they told us we'd have to live with it. Currently looking into replacing floors. read more

They did an overall good job but the doors they took off and put back on were all crooked and I had to take them off and fix them. I had to cut 3 sections because they cut them too tight and the floor bubbled. I had to trim everywhere that the Vinal butted because of the gaps, even in front of my front door. I was told didn't need to take base boards off. It's a good thing I did. read more

Great sales department , but seriously horrible installation department! They broke tiles installing carpets, left shredded carpet padding all over my front yard, and did not clean up inside after they were done with the install which is something that they say they do. To top that off every spot where the carpet meets the tile, the tack strips are felt and stab us. When the field supervisor was to come out to look at the tile that they broke so they could fix it, he was 20+ minutes late with not even enough courtesy to call to inform us he was running behind. Then when they came out to fix the tile, the installer was putting pieces of the broken up grout on my kitchen table and the back of my couch. They are still to come out again to fix the tack strips. I can only hope that just maybe this will be a better experience. read more

Had a contractor build a decking and awning. Material selected was out of stock after we selected color. Told to go to big bobs flooring and pick another color. I told them that I had a step to cover also. They had measurements for the deck and steps. I informed them that the steps were on me to p as y separate. Carpet installer came with carpet for deck , no steps carpet. Called the store only to be treated very poorly . Accusing me of not paying for step carpet. That's why they didn't send carpet for steps. Very poor customer relations. read more

Originally placed an order with a big box store here in town for a carpet install thinking they would be the cheapest and the quickest. Because the process was taking weeks I had to go another route. Called Big Bob's and Carlos answered. He was very professional and seemed like he sincerely wanted to help. Stopped by the same day to pick out the flooring. Mario and Roberto installed the next day. I am sure they are not able to do a 2 day turnaround for all customers but I was lucky enough to get in. The process was simple and everyone I talked with from the beginning to end was very polite and professional. Plus, I saved $500 compared to that big box store I mentioned earlier. We are winter visitors in Yuma and tried to purchase carpet for our motor home from Home Depot but after 3 weeks they still did not know when it would arrive so we got a refund. Went to Big Bob's and they had plenty of choices in stock at a better price. Chris Hill was great as were ALL OTHERS with whom we dealt. We installed it ourselves. When we picked it up they went out of their way to put our small amount on a cardboard roll so we could haul it in the back of our small pick up. We needed 16' of binding sewed on and they did that for free. When I made a mistake in a cut, they immediately connected me with an installer (Chewy) who came to our place and seamed it for us. Then when we were done they allowed us to put our old carpet in their dumpster. We are extremely pleased with the value and service from Big Bob's. read more
