This is my worst experience in hotel history. There are roaches, no hot water showers, and they randomly choose when they're going to turn the water off for maintenance. The tv had problems through the entirety of my visit and the room was overall just disgusting. I was pretty upset at my company for booking me in this trash heap. Sure enough, this very morning, a giant roach was there to greet me in the shower. It was so big that my gut instinct was to shoot it, but thankfully, I withheld.

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago and just had kidney surgery robin was very hospitable in understanding my needs. Came back yesterday and had some issues with the room but the manager/owner made good by his word and i appreciated and recommend this place for sure.

They've maintained some charming details of this 60s style motel -

Clean , well-run operation with slightly dated looking rooms. Can't beat the rates and the parking lot proves it! Rooms run $55 a night.

“I have stayed there several times over the years when I come to the area for dental work in nearby Algodones, and it has always felt like a great value (I always come during the off-season).”

My apologies as my brain eludes me. It's been several weeks since we stayed here and running late…read morewith the review. I was told by a close friend this was the spot to stay in while commuting to have some dental work done just past the border. My wife and I stayed two nights here. I believe we paid around $270 (with AAA discount) for the two nights which considering with location and amenities offered very reasonable in this day and age. I would say the pros definitely outweigh the cons here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They provide a pretty decent breakfast in the morning as part of your stay. The grounds are kept relatively clean with a nice gated pool, we felt safe here. The location is stellar! Food, shopping, and some entertainment are all within a walking distance from this establishment. Well, depending how hot it is, I guess. There is always that but everything is pretty close to each and more food places to shake a stick at that fits all budgets. As for the cons, at least for our room, everything seemed a bit outdated in the way of furniture and carpet. The bed was fine and slept well. The carpet probably hasn't been changed in the last couple decades at least. The floor had some uneven spot as well (we were on the 2nd floor). The TV setup and service was pretty outdated as well. Felt like I went back to the late 90's. The TV was an old style flat screen and the service used a dedicated guide channel that scrolled the listing. Other than that, that's it. All in all, I would definitely recommend staying here. Price is reasonable, the service is really good. Location is great. Just have to accept and adjust to potential older rooms than you may be use to. 4.5 stars!

Nice 2 story property. Good rate per night on HOTELS.COM. Reserved this place because of the…read morelittle les I had to pay over another hotel. Incredibly nice and accommodating front desk staff on phone and in person. Tv wasn't working so called front desk and maintenance was at room within minute's and fixed it. Nice grounds and pool area. i noticed the rug was a little ragged at edge by bathroom. Sitting on the couch I realized it felt a little 'used'. The rest of the room was clean and showed pride of maid staff. HVAc was a little loud for my liking. We left for an evening event and left ac on 'sleep mode' and returned with a particular musty smell upon entering. The noisy HVAAC was too loud to make a restful sleep so I turned off while sleeping. Glad the fan was there as it kept us fairly comfortable with the night temperature around 70. Refrigerator kept turning on and off making noise throughout the night. Couldn't turn it off because son had insulin in there. The breakfast provided in the am was quite adequate. The usuals I personally liked like malt waffles, eggs, yogurt and sausages. They also had hard boiled eggs, pastries bread assortment cereal. The eating area was very clean and kept up nicely by the one person staff there. It would have been hard for me to stay more than one evening here as that's all we needed to stay for our event.

I want to give a shout out to Elizabeth, one of the breakfast cooks. She is very hospitable and…read morealways makes sure the food is fresh. Everything is clean and orderly. I loved the way she made me feel right at home. She's pleasant to everyone, even to some who I witnessed were rude to her. She went the extra mile to make pancake batter for someone because it had run out about 10 minutes before she was to close. For someone to accommodate people in that manner shows how much they care. On a side note, I witnessed some poor behavior on one of the staff members who was getting coffee. She was in front of the coffee bar and sneezed, not even covering her mouth. This is not only rude but unimaginable!!! it only takes a second to turn your head and sneeze into your arm or grab a napkin, which are on the coffee bar, and sneeze into the napkin, then go wash your hands. And this world wonders why people are sick all the time!!!

My first time visiting Yuma and after reading many reviews on the various hotels in the area…read moreonline, I decided on this hotel. Hotel offers complimentary breakfast, hotel shuttle to/from Yuma airport, free parking, and close to highway 8. Customer service at the front desk was excellent. I flew into Yuma airport and because many military personnel was flying in for a training with all their bags, several non military passengers didn't get our bags on the flight. I informed the front desk that my bag was delayed and didn't know when I will get it and if it was delivered and I'm out, could they just accept the delivery. The front desk said yes and they would keep it at the front desk until I get back. I was relieved to hear that cause I was only visiting for 3 days and wanted to spend as much time with my niece and her family who live in Yuma and not have to worry I needed to be back to get my luggage. When I booked my room I requested a room away from the elevator. Didn't think the hotel review the request but they did and I was given a room away from the elevator. My room faced the farms. It was really nice to wake up every morning to see some greenery. Breakfast was very basic. After day one, I never went back. My room was clean. Bed and pillows were nice and soft. I read a review about the a/c system turning off when no one was in the room. This was what I experienced as well but I didn't mind cause it didn't take long for the room to cool down once I'm back in the room. The a/c unit by the window is loud when it turned on. I got used to it after day 1 but wish it would not be so loud. There are not many restaurants near the hotel. You'll need to Uber/Lyft if you want options for food. The hotel shuttle will take you within 3 mile. The shuttle will take you to downtown Yuma as well. Would definitely stay here again whenever I visit Yuma again.
