The man that worked there was nice and greeted me when I came in but otherwise left me alone. They have a HUGE selection of machines (if you want to do one load of 60lbs of stuff, they got you). My washer went kaput and water spilled everywhere, so I had to basically wash every towel I owned that was soaking wet. Went there on a Saturday at noon. There were people but not so many I was fighting for space. It's got a ton of machines, the folding tables are fine and there were a lot of wheelie baskets for people to hoard for themselves. I used 3 40# machines that all worked well and 2 30# dryers that were fine too. 40# machines will cost you $4.50, then the dryer is .25 for 10 minutes. Put that on HIGH and you stuff will be dry in 30-40 minutes. Best part is that it's walking distance to Fatburger and next door to Beach Bowls açaí. We all know acai bowls take like 20 minutes to make (why is that?) so it's perfect to kill time.

*** Cash only ***…read more Fluff & Fold Coin Laundry is one of more conveniently located laundromat in Torrance given (1) Del Amo Fashion Center is located just a block away and (2) many apartments in Torrance are located within 2 miles of this laundromat. [Parking]: Free and easy strip mall parking. [Amenity]: Restroom is available, but user must insert one quarter to use it. Soap/bleach/softener dispenser is not working. There's only one TV and it was playing local ABC news. I also spotted gum ball machines and a massage chair. [Washing machines]: ALL machines only accept quarters (no electronic payment) and the laundromat has functional change machines. For triple load washer, the maximum capacity is 35 lbs & $5.25 for 36-minute cold wash. Last wash ends at 7:30 PM. [Drying machines]: Just like washing machines, all drying machines only take quarters. User must first fill up each drying machine, insert a quarter, select a temperature (high, perm press, and low), and then the door will close due to suction (no clicking sound when door is closed). $0.25 for a 8-minute session. [Fluff and fold]: For clothes it's $1.75 per pound ($13 minimum). For comforters and blankets = $18 each for under 5 lbs, $21 each for 5 lbs to 7 lbs, and $24 each for 7 lbs to 10 lbs (?). [Conclusion]: Quarter-only & outdated machines, out of service soap/bleach/softener dispenser, drying machines lock by suction, early last wash ending time, and restroom not free - honestly I would only come back here again as the last resort.

Not sure what the hell was going on there yesterday, most machines out of order and the few working were full so I looked up this dump. This place needs some serious refurbishment. Broken down stuff covered in tarps, smell of moldy water all present. Coin changer took a dollar and a dryer did the same and the chap running the place ducked out. When I was there someone called him to come deal with a jam and he promptly left. I used the PayRange app to pay, which was easy enough, but being out of practice, I accidentally paid for the same machine twice! Ugh. I called the number posted and left a voicemail, expecting to maybe hear back in a few days. To my surprise, the owner called me back within MINUTES. She was so helpful and understanding. I texted her screenshots of the double payment, and she immediately sent the overpayment to my Zelle account. Seriously, talk about amazing customer service!
