We were heading into Hollywood but needed to stop for some breakfast. I should have checked reviews before stopping here because they were dead on. The food was BLAND. I'm talking zero seasoning, spice, flavor! We didn't want to waste money so we choked down the food. The only good things we had were the French fries and eggs. The tequeños were dry and the cheese was not hot on the inside. The "tortilla" was thick and inedible. The arepa was horrible, so very dry and with no flavor at all. The chicken sandwich was also bad. We were so excited to try Columbian food and left very disappointed. Oh, and our waitress was also not good. Never checked on us, refilled our water, Etc. I think the place is over priced. Crew is friendly The chicharrón is Xtra small and over cooked. If you are colombian is an OK place to go, if you want to try or show off the colombian food, I would suggest look up for options. read more

First and certainly last time. I went in with a major craving for Dulce de Leche (Arequipe) and hot chocolate. Let me say that disappointed is an understatement!! I asked the young lady and confirmed that what I was purchasing was filled with arequipe and NOT GUAVA and they reassured me. I asked TWICE and then she went to the back to comfirm. Sure enough when I get home it was FILLED with guava (which I deeply despise) then I called to let them know and they said to bring it back even though I advised them that I had opened it... this is ridiculous! To top it off the over priced hot chocolate tasted awful. I ended up throwing away everything. If I had no stars I would give no stars... yelp, can we have the option for NO STARS?? read more

This is my 10th time ordering on Uber Eats with them and they ALWAYS forget something. And half the time it's the beans. When I called and asked(which mind you, no one speaks English and my Spanish is so so) they told me it doesn't come with the dish.. SO WHY DOES THE DESCRIPTION STATE THE CHICKEN BREAST SERVED WITH RICE, BEANS, AND SALAD!?(see picture added)It's not a requirement it's stated in the description. Three stars because it was okay food. The empanada and bunelo was not warm when I received it. They did recommend a beef soup that was pretty good. With two sides. The servers are kind though. I think they should add a little extra kick to their ahi, let's maybe it was a couple days old? read more

If you're in the mood to get disappointed this is your place the food was terrible. My hubby had the "calentado"( rice and beans, steak, egg). I think I could of gone to the back and made it taste better. He said the rice and beans were tasteless and watery, the steak was hard and dry, the only thing he enjoyed were the eggs and even found egg shells in his food lol. No one speaks English. I ordered the blood sausage (which looked and tasted old), pan de bono, which was microwaved, arepa de choclo (which was microwaved), large cheese loaf(which was microwaved and tasted rotten), empanada de carne(which was out, hard on the outside and mushy on the inside) the meat tasted like dog food. When I complained about the food, the lady said "It's already on the check, I can't do anything about it." When I asked her for some ice with my drink she said "okay one second." They never brought it lol. They gave me warm orange juice, I would expect some ice so it's cold. Not sure how in the hell these people get any bussiness. The worst food I've had in a lot long time. read more

Barely edible. Had the shoe, I mean medium-churrasco, the sirloin which resembles something from my public school days, the empanadas aka unsavory grease pockets. Why is it so hard to find delicious latin food outside of doral/kendall?? read more

Came here for dinner. Inexpensive. Neat, quiet and clean hidden Columbian Gem on Hallandale Blvd. Place is filled with Columbian treasures. I had the chicharron which was delicious with their national aji picante (hot sauce) which was delicious. Just the right hot. Yes I agree the empanadas are on the greasy side, however i prefer them this way. Better than dry. The churrasco steak was thin, cooked well and tasty. The plantains were sweet and caramel. I was impressed. Enjoyed the ambience, surrounded by the rich Columbian culture. I'll definitely come again. I gave the place 3 stars because of the rubbery fried egg on my rice, the sausage was kind of blah- tasteless, over cooked. The overall prices were good. Not bad for a Wednesday night read more

I had a very pleasant experience we ate breakfast the pastries were delicious and the food was great coffee was wonderful nice staff

This place is a joke. I waited more than 20 minutes to pick up an order that was supposed to be ready upon arrival (2 salads) before they suggested I just cancel the order! I literally left with only one salad! they said it was because too many people ordered.... ummmm I think the problem is only having 3 people working during a lunch rush.... read more

Good service and good Colombian food. All the basics plus a few extras. Great pandebonos, sopa de costilla is also very good, lots of meat. We come here often, our go to spot when we are in town. read more

As a professional athlete I have ate at many different places good and well little hole in the walls but never have I received The worst service ever. They made me wait over 20 mins before asking us what to drink I asked for a Pan de Bono and the heat it up in the microwave and gave it to me like that I asked for a corona regular and they serve me a light asked for an empanada I got one but it was more breading than meat or anything else. Had to wait about 30 min before I was asked if I needed to order something else not knowing I had not ordered my main plate yet. Finally ordered my plate and had to wait another 25 min while they brought me my food wasn't brought my water I asked for 2 times and also left me waiting for another drink. Horrible service and horrible food. I do not recommend this place at all should be shut down. Very disappointed with restaurant. Do Not recommend anyone go there. Wanted to put zero stars but not an option. read more

I gave three stars because the pastries and natural juices are so delicious. But I order the "calentado" breakfast and it was literally left over food from another day. The meat smelled and tasted rotten, the rice and beans were soggy to the point it had fused together into a paste and the taste was horrible, it was literally rotten food re-heated. The taste was just horrible and at $11 what a loss. Whatever you do don't ever get that plate :( go for the pastries or any food items that are at the counter, like empanadas or buñuelos they are sooo good. read more

This was my second time I have been there , I am from Barranquilla . I was with my aunt sister and fiancé who is American , my food was great , really great ajiaco , la panaderia is so so . My fiancé saw a picture of an arepa he order it , when we got it . It was dry and it tasted like shit , likely had been sitting all day. He returned it after two bites , I tried it and I did not taste like an arepa. The manager refused to take it off the ticket . She also send the only English speaking waitress to our table . Even tho I speak perfect Spanish . 3 out of 4 people at our table spoke Spanish . She never took it off the ticket . She refused . No todos los Colombianos somos iguales . Que aprenda inglés porque está en los Estados Unidos . Y si uno sirve un plato que supo a mierda , la mujer lo hubiera podido quitar de la cuenta. read more

Last time I order from here the steak had no flavor what so ever they must not believe in salt and pepper. I was supposed to get a salad with it but no salad arrived. The empanadas didn't come with hot sauce even though I specifically asked for some how do you not give picante sauce for Colombian empanadas that's just wrong and it should be a crime read more

BAD! They used to be good but not anymore. The servers have no experience and the food isn't food. The other day we went and they had music blasting in the background with bad words. Customers had kids sitting at the table and couldn't believe it! read more

Very clean place. The baked goods are great (Pan De Bono!), good coffee, nice staff (it helps if you speak some Spanish.. they barely speak any English-but that's always a good sign :) Also had lunch there one day- not bad. Maybe I am used to food from NY Puerto-Rican/Cuban/Dominican places. It seems the Colombian food is not as flavorful. The kitchen is always spotless- you can see it on your way to the bathroom-it is CLEAN. I will definitely go back there every time i'm in the Miami area. read more

They charged me 8.50 for a ham and cheese arepa... and barely filled with ham and cheese. So I technically ate a portion of flour.. over priced for the quality and food type ( rise, beans, arepas) read more

Ordered from this restaurant off of Eat24.com. The order arrived quickly but was missing an arepa de queso. I called the company and they contacted the bakery who said the order was already out for delivery. An hour passed again they were contacted and they said it was again out for delivery. Another hour passed and they were contacted again and they said there was confusion and they would then make the order again and get it to me in 20 minutes. Of course over an hour has passed and I am still waiting for this order. Never have I seen a restaurant so incompetent that they are unable to make an arepa and get it to the customer in less than 4 hours....Still waiting actually. updated to add that it finally arrived 4.5 hours after the original order. When it arrived the food was of very low quality and cold, bad tasting. But the worst thing was that the driver said he couldn't bring me the food because they made him do dishes instead! For 4 hours I waited while the delivery driver was doing the dishes?????? read more

Went for lunch, had the churrasco skirt steak with Camerones (shrimp). The steak was cooked perfectly (medium), with the Shrimps, which had a sautéed onion/green pepper sauce. Sides included red beans and rice, and fried plantains. The beans had big chunks of ham in them and were delicioso. Topped off the meal with a coconut crusted caramel filled cookie and a cafe con leche. Service was superb and prices reasonable. Will definitely be back! read more

Great place and the best part is the customer service they provide. Food is amazing totally recommended.

This place is a fraud to all Colombia bakery's. I am Colombian and know authentic Colombian bakery's when I see one and this place is a joke! First of all they microwave EVERYTHING to heat it up, meaning nothing is fresh! They use Burger King coffee cups for the tasteless and burnt coffee they serve and the staff always looks annoyed when you are unsure of what you want to order. Their quality of food is terrible and honestly overpriced. Do yourself a favor and drive past this place cause if you're looking for real Colombian food or food in general .. your wasting your time and money here. read more

i come here often because it is very close to me ...overall they are very nice but not all the girls who work there seem to be on the same page I've ordered mango juice and have had it made fresh while other times they tell me they don't make it i feel the ones who say that just don't want to make it read more

Food was really good. I highly recommend this place. Service is a little too slow but the staff was very friendly and attentive.

Have been here a few times. Breakfast is good specially the Colombian tamal, but the experience today was terrible. They apparently changed the waiting staff and they have no clue of what they are doing. Waited 30 minutes for the food and all I got was excuses. Decided to get up and leave and the though the apparent owner apologized, he just kept trashing the staff. The way I see it if you own it or manage it you are accountable. Anyway, might give it another chance in the future, but it's a shame as it's not easy to find good Colombian tamales around... read more

The WORST customer service I've ever had. We placed an order for delivery at 9:00 AM to be delivered at 11:30 AM. It was explained to the person taking the order that we could not eat at a different time and asked if this would be an issue. They said they could deliver at this time or even 5 minutes earlier. At 11:40, I called them and they said that the food had "just left". We are approximately 6 minutes away (with traffic). At 12:00, I called back to say that I had missed my entire lunch and that I was waiting for the food. I was given the driver's cell phone number (who happens to also be the owner of the restaurant) and she said she was LOST! I told her that now the food was going to be cold and that now I had to wait until 2 pm to eat because it was my next lunch. She said the food would be hot because it "just left" the restaurant. Hmmmm......just spotted a LIE! They told me 1/2 hour ago that the food had "just left". I got my food at 1:00 PM. And they had the nerve to not take anything off the bill except for the delivery fee and they didn't give me back change because they actually thought they deserved a $10 tip! UNREAL! Never again. Liars and unprofessional people! read more
