I was having a little bit of difficulty figuring out how many stars to give this place. On one hand, I did enjoy my burger, although it was more rare than well done. I also enjoyed the ambience of sitting outside on a nice day. The food came pretty quick as well. On the other hand, the initial person that greets you at any establishment should have a smile on their face and a welcoming demeanor. This young lady had a B face and exuded attitude from the moment we walked up. This will kill my vibe immediately, even if everything else is great. I understand hiring attractive people as hostesses and servers to draw people in but if they have a shit personality, their looks mean nothing. Besides the attitude we received, the burger was too undercooked. We had to waive someone down to help us at the end to get our check, which was a different woman and she even had a bit of an attitude. These type of places need to do better when hiring people that are going to be face-to-face with the customers. I now see why this place only has 2 1/2 stars on Yelp.

If I was writing a review about the food I'd give it 5 stars. If it was about the music? 5 stars. Specially if you are a true salsa lover. But the service? I'd give it zero stars if I could. The hostesses seemed to be inconvenienced by our arrival, literally rolled her eyes at us when we joined two tables together to fit our picada and bucket of beer. Mind you, the table next to us had joined 2 tables but I guess for them not an issue but very much so for us? The music was phenomenal and legitimately the only reason we stayed. It was 3 of us. We ordered a picada and a bucket of beer while we waited, then a second bucket, but that was the last we saw of our waitress. We finished the second bucket, the picada, and waited for over an hour for anyone to notice us again. I even had to extend our parking for 30 minutes ($25 for the extra 30 min) because no matter who we asked to call our waitress she was nowhere to be found. Service staff were rude, not attentive, and provided what I think is the worst service I've experienced in YEARS. We could have easily left without paying, but we are NOT that kind of people.

Bad service. Walked up with drinks and was let in by service at the front and when we sat down and ordered new drinks security made us walk out. the new drinks were already made and paid for they sat at the bar and watered down by the time we could go back In to drink them. Rude bar tenders as well (posting this Thursday night) a fight also broke out at 3am photos of the guy knocked out below

We visited this restaurant a few times a loved it before. They have very nice music outside and it's fun.I've had their steak previously and was very good. This time ordered a streak and the meat was a bad cut and chewy, but it also had some weird taste that I couln't eat a lot.Their lemonade was amazing. But after that steak(we mentioned it to the waitress) I wouldn't want to come back for some time.

The food is always delicious and the servers are attentive. All the waitresses are pretty Spanish girls with long black hair. I've never been here at night, but it appears they have a nice set up for the nightlife atmosphere. There is outdoor seating along with a huge bar on the inside.

We are here when we landed because it was close to our hotel and one of the only places that were open at 1:30am that we knew of. The place seems cool inside we did not go in but it's a bar I believe they had live music. We sat outside and we ordered the lomo and chicken and everything was absolutely delicious. The service was not the greatest which why the 4 starts but that won't stop be from going back.

Came in for the first time on a Friday evening for drinks and it did not disappoint. They are located right in downtown Hollywood with plenty food and drinks options perfect for families to have dinner or to hang out late night. Parking can be a bit hard but the have street parking you just have to get lucky. We had a few shots, cocktails and beef empanadas and everything was great. Service was iffy , but not terrible. Overall I would comeback earlier for happy hour or dinner with friends.

Came here with a few friends Friday night and it wasn't too busy . They are located in the strip of Hollywood close to many restaurants so the location was great . It was renovated nicely comparable to the first time I went a few years ago . Very Colombian , so head there for good food and good music .

We were not very hungry and so we just got a few dishes. To our surprise, they had a happy hour special going and so I tried the half-price margaritas. They were good. I ordered the Chicharron con Arepa. The chicharron was not crispy but tasted good. It came with a little white arepa. The arepa tasted fresh. The empanadas were good. I was able to order two chicken, two meat, and two cheese. The outside tasted great and crispy. My favorite one was the cheese one. The cheese was just melty and gooey. It was good. The tres leches had a funny taste to it. It tasted as if it had been refrigerated with something else and picked up the taste of it. The service was very friendly but slow. This restaurant has pay Street parking all around and it is easy to find.

Definitely won't be back here. Waitress that attended me, my mom and boyfriend was extremely rude. She was trying to sit us at a really small table...when we asked her if we can sit at a bigger table, she got really annoyed and said there was no other options. The restaurant was literally empty with only one couple eating there, it's a huge restaurant. When we told her this, she rolled her eyes and found another table for us within a second since again, the place was practically empty. She added that after a certain time the restaurant becomes a club and if a bigger party came and they needed our table we'd have to leave or move...anyway, we ordered their sancocho de costilla which is like a beef soup and their bandeja paisa. The soup was great. The bandeja was ok, I've had better. Definitely won't be back, service was horrible which explains why they have 2 stars lol.

Pretty large venue with outdoor seating. Pretty quick place and good service! We enjoyed the seared fish, plantains, empanadas, and steak. Really really loved the seared fish as it was nice and crispy. Restaurant was pretty big with large space indoors as well. Defs a good deal/value and really really loved the food!

I love this place. I first discovered them from Uber eats and then realized how close they were to me and have been a regular since. This food is amazingly good and is my go to when I want that home cooked Spanish food. My staple meal is the steak with rice, red beans, and maduros on the side. If I'm feeling extra hungry I'll ask for an avocado. The natural juices are also pretty good but I'm almost positive it's not fresh maybe out of a package. They give you option to add in milk or water. Side note: the first time I dined in it was so loud I couldn't even formulate thoughts or hear the waitress. (They had a dj playing music inside music was great but was a bit much). in this photo, was the second time actually eating here in person and it was a good experience. They also have outside seating available. I believe this place is like bar/restaurant style so they do have more of a party feel on The Weekends and best of all they stay open till like 4 AM. Perfect for when you're hungry late night ! The service has been great so far. :)

We happen to come across this place with looking for a burger place. Because I was wanting to eat a burger the waitress suggested their Colombian burger and it was a great suggestion. I have to say that my burger was very good. My hubby ordered the arepa rellena. When we got the cuenta we were very surprised to see that it wasn't too much and very reasonable. Service was great music was nice, no complaints. I later realized this place only has a 3 star rating which really surprised me. I gave it a 5 because I loved everything!

I seated myself but was approached right away then I was given plenty of time to check the menu. The servers seem pretty attentive here. The soup was in a huge bowl. Tasty, but couldn't finish, so after eating yo most of the liquid, I had to pack up the rest to take it home. Yuca is my favorite part because it melts in your mouth. If you don't want leftovers, then I suggest you get something else lol... I also decided to get hot chocolate to dip their cheese slabs in. They were plenty. It's best to bring someone with you -- I think they allow sharing the dishes here, so why not? They also charge 18% gratuity.

The restaurant was split into two sides with a trinket store offering money transfer services. The Colombian espresso single shot was an absurd $4.00 but the food here is supposed to be excellent so I ordered a beef empanada. It was small but flavorful with a semi-crispy shell at only $2.50 it was a steal. The gender assigned bathroom outer door had a cartoon guy wearing a sombrero hat indicating the men's room. Clean with Terracotta Mexican style flooring providing an earthy vibe with an out of order urinal.

With just the right amount of coconut and freshly squeezed lime it's the perfect drink to cool you off. I ordered the fried egg stuffed arepa, hmmmm very tasty! I then tried their beef empanada with their home made salsa. Best Colombian empanada I've ever had! The perfect crunch on the outside and mouth watering flavor on the inside. My husband ordered the mini bandeja paisa which includes rice, red beans, ground beef, fried pork belly, sausage, sweet plantain, a fried egg and a small arepa.... need I say more! It's a party of flavors in your mouth! I will come back to order their other menu items and two more coconut lemonades as mentioned in the Miami.com article, "you will never look twice at a regular lemonade again!" http://www.miami.com/things-to-do-in-miami/yellow-green-farmers-market-is-in-broward-but-its-totally-worth-the-drive-miami-188855/

Today, we…read moretried Pasabocas de Colombia because the pictures we saw on their menu were just too good to pass on. As a starter we tried the Spinach empanada and the beef empanada. They were so fresh and steamy on the inside. If you're not familiar with Colombian empanadas, the batter is potato based and the filling has some chunks of potato in it. It is amazing! I've had a lot of different types of empanadas in my day and these are my absolute favorite! They are just so flavorful and the texture is so heavenly, it's a party in your mouth. The only problem is that as soon as I finish one, I immediately want another. They just go down so easily, I think it's because the batter is light and flaky compared to others. Ok, enough talk about the empanadas, I realize I'm starting to sound crazy... but I just love them so much! We also had a papa rellena, stuffed potato with a rice and ground beef filling. This also had a nice flaky crust and lots of flavor. As our main meal we had an egg stuffed arepa and a mini bandeja paisa. The egg stuffed arepa was good but the bandeja paisa was even better. It's a bowl with rice, saucy red beans, a small arepa, sausage, chicharrón, beef, a sweet plantain slice and why not? A beautiful fried egg on top! phew! I know it's a mouthful. It's comfort food in a perfect package. Honestly, I tasted only about half of the meats because my hubby scarfed it down way too fast. But I sopped up the saucy rice and beans with the arepa and was a happy camper. Lastly, I drank a coconut lemonade which was so refreshing that I even got another one to go. I will absolutely be making this one of my new go to places!

We were told to sit anywhere, which was fine, but then we ordered 2 waters and a passion fruit margarita and waited almost 30 minutes just to get them. On top of that, the drink order was wrong. She served us what tasted like salty mango juice -- and I say "juice" because there was absolutely no alcohol in it. Then we ordered a simple meal: a few chicken tacos, pork tacos, and an order of chicharrón. Somehow that still took 30-45 minutes, and the order was missing items when it finally arrived. That's crazy for an order of 4 chicken tacos and 4 pork tacos. The tacos honestly weren't even that good either. The only thing that was actually good was the chicharrón. People always say "good food takes time," and sure, that's understandable when a restaurant is busy. But this place wasn't even halfway full. There were plenty of open tables inside and outside, so the wait made no sense -- especially considering the food wasn't worth it.
