She did not. When I asked her to return to finish the job -four days later - she showed up for four hours and I had to work right along side of her doing her job for her. Dishonest Nursing Leadership: The two Directors of Nursing (DONs) have proven to be unreliable. We found them to be misleading and dishonest regarding care and protocols on multiple occasions. Retaliatory Environment: There is a "shut up or leave" culture here. When residents or family members advocate for better care by asking questions or filing complaints, the facility responds by discharging the resident rather than addressing the concerns. If you are looking for a facility that values open communication and treats residents with respect, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
