I love this place and Lana! I've been going here for years for waxing and always get a clean, smooth wax. Lana is absolutely wonderful too- I just adore her! read more

It was a very nice experience. Lana was professional and very personable. I will return again and have referred her to my friends.

The people who work here are very sweet and accommodating! They'll offer you discounts if you come there often. read more

Your Spa - bad quality but : ) - Nail Salons Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I came here for the first time with a few friends through Groupon and was not disappointed! We were all terrified of getting waxed but decided to commit and give it a try and I am never looking back. Lana made us feel very comfortable and she was great at making small talk to make us feel at ease while she waxed us. Your Spa is pretty tiny but the prices can't be beat. If you're a student Lana only charges $28 for a full Brazilian which is incredible and she does a great job. She's been waxing for many many years now and will literally have you feeling like a naked mole rat in 5 minutes. It was so quick and easy! There's also a parking lot in the back which is convenient. I've been here twice now and will definitely be back in the future :). Thanks Lana, you rock!! read more

AMAZING MANICURE (and for just $14) I found this business here on Yelp and yesterday, decided to go for a much-needed manicure! (I hadn't gotten a manicure in months and my cuticles looked horrible). I got lucky and they were able to take me as a walk-in. I was assigned to Minh, who was very kind. Minh had an amazing attention to detail and clearly cared - she spent 40 minutes just trimming my cuticles and making the skin around my nails look good (which was much needed). Of course, it only took that long because my fingers were in pretty bad shape. Minh did a great job making my hands look like new, and was detail-oriented in actually painting my nails. If you're looking for amazing value on the Westside, this is your place. The place itself isn't fancy, but it's clean and gets the job done. The downside: Limited nail polish color selection. Things you should know: The NAIL SERVICE in the salon is only available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Manicure is $14, gel manicure is $30. Also do toes too, but don't have the official massage chairs (or at least I couldn't see them). Cash or check only. read more

My visit to Your Spa was a first after a few years of commitment to sugaring. With that said, I can't believe I've been sugaring all my life!!!! The sugaring process might not be hot or anything, but the fastest appt would be 15-20 minutes and the longest could take about 40 (with a trainee). With a wax, and a wax with Lana specifically, it LITERALLY took 10 minutes. None of the reviewers are lying about the time it takes. The salon is on the corner of the street right next to Ralph's with a small parking lot in the back (free!) and it's super small - about 3 salon chairs and a massage room and a waxing room. There's really no privacy in terms of noise / you can hear everything in the whole salon. If you're ok with that, this will be the best wax experience you'll ever have. Lana took 30 minutes to see me which was upsetting at first, but she saw a client before me who came early and requested an extra service (so it went longer than she expected). Nevertheless she was a sweetheart, apologized over and over, and even offered to see me 3 more times at the Groupon price I paid for. (Even though I already purchased 3 based on all the great reviews). That's amazing customer service. Loved my visit and will continue to come back! read more

The MOST PAINLESS Brazilian waxing experience in my life. I still cringe about my times at the Euro Wax Center (which went something like this: ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch). Lana was so sweet and soothing, I was in and out in about ten minutes. She has this Italian waxing system that makes it so great & easy. Highly recommended :) She charges $40 for brazillian - very good price compared to all the high end places. Remember ladies, the longer the hair, the less painful it is Also, there's free parking in the back read more

I've been coming to Your Spa to see Sergei for anti cellulite massage for a few months and I'm definitely seeing great results. He is using a special technique and gets into the deep layers to break down the cellulite. The spa also offers regular massages, manicures and waxing. read more

I first took notice of Your Spa last year. Used to work in the area and always got sandwiches for lunch from the deli at Ralphs. Everytime I walk by this place, it was always packed. Packed with beautiful (as in HAWWTT) women waiting around with their designer handbags. Got me pretty curious 'cos this place would be what you would call "hole-in-the-wall" nail salon. Had to try it out. They must be doing something right. Otherwise, why would all these HOT women be in there, waiting their turn. Am I glad I did. Not only is the price RIGHT, the vietnamese ladies do such a fantastic job with my nails. They really take the time to clean, shape, and polish your nails. My finger polish can usually last 2 wks. Because they are thorough, the mani/pedi will take pretty long. Be sure to do it when you actually have a spare 2 hrs in your day. This place is extremely busy. Calling to make an appointment is advisable. Even then, be prepared to wait your turn. They turn people away all the time. It's kinda nice to see that they'll turn people away because their taking their time to provide quality service. I'm a regular. It's nice too that they recognize that 'cos I can just walk-in and they'll make a real effort to squeeze me in. As for the hot women, most were there waiting to see Lana who maintains and shapes their eyebrows. She does a really great job. Yes, I do get by brows done here too and most recently, I've just had my brazillian done with Lau. Fantastic job!! I felt so super comfortable with her and again, the price is unbeatable. Note on parking, their lot in the back is super tiny. I park in the Ralphs lot all the time and have had no problems. read more

I usually get my pedicures done by Jenny's Nail right in between Melrose and Santa Monica Blvd by Fairfax. The distance got to be too much and my eyes roved around to see what can benefit me nearby with the same quality and reputation (without karate chopping my wallet in half...) I made an appointment and came here. At first I thought I got the wrong place - it IS a seedy little hole in the wall any respectable girl would stay away from. When I arrived the nail technician was working on an 80 year old man's toes - ew, gross. I waited my turn, secretly hoping she wasn't going to use dirty equipment on me or whatever hygienic nightmare I was concocting in my head. It wasn't that bad - every time I thought it was going to be the worst thing ever and I'd run back to Jenny crying, my pedicurist proved my fears wrong: pedicure did not suck, WAS pretty cheap ($17 for french tip on toes, $22 altogether w/ tip), and was actually good. Dare I say it - the french tips were nice and thick, different than Jenny's stingy polish policy when the tips were an annoying thin line. So yeah, I think I'd alternate between this place and Jenny's, since Jenny's is a real pedicure experience whereas this place is a quick fix (BUT A GOOD FIX!) read more

Just had a terrific pedicure at Your Spa, right off Wilshire near the Ralph's grocery store in Brentwood! In search for a new mani/pedi place close by to my friend's place, we yelped and found Your Spa! This place rocks! and is one of the better pedicure places I have been to. It is very no-frills, so don't come for the ambience, just come for a long lasting pedicure that won't break the bank. Forget about the dozens of "spa" mani/pedi places that charge you WAY too much in Beverly Hills or Brentwood, because this place really delivers a great pedicure without all the hype. There are no "spa" foot soaks or massage chairs here. You sit down in a vinyl/pseudo-leather office chair, soak your feet in a little plastic tub of warm water. Then the guy/gal will start on your cuticles and go forth! They did a great job on my feet and my friend's feet. The guy used this machine cuticle blaster on her feet and then finished her pedi with the little flower in the corner. I opted not to have the cutesy flower, but I have to admit, it was pretty and not too over the top! The lady doing my pedicure was efficient! She pushed down the cuticles, filed my nails, shaved off the nasty dead skin on my heels, then finally started applying the nail polish. Total time? 30 min! Prices have actually gone up from the last reviews! Manicure: $12 Pedicure: $14 Mani/Pedi: $25 Cutesy flower application: $4 Neck/Shoulder Massage: $10 for 15 min According to my friend (she got the massage), they did a good job too! With especially tense trapezius muscles, (exacerbated from carrying a wooden elephant on her shoulder), my friend said the massage was quite good, with enough pressure to get rid of the muscles aches. The only reason I knocked off a star is because the place is really tiny and it's hard for the workers to accomodate walk-ins because they only have 2 people doing the nails! WTF?! Parking is actually not a problem. There are a few spots right behind the store off Wilshire (go thru the Ralph's parking lot). Overall, I was very happy with this Yelp find! Your Spa is the place to go for a great no-frills long-lasting pedicure. I'm definitely coming back! read more

So I found this place through an amazing groupon deal, 25 for a Brazilian wax? Um HECK YES. First off, I would like to say I got my wax done by Lana. She and her husband are soooo hospitable, kind and professional. Lana made me feel very comfortable and relaxed while she took care of me. I have been going around trying to find the perfect aesthetician (waxing person) and I can't believe my luck to have found her through a group on deal. I absolutely recommend Your Spa when it comes to getting waxes. She has great pointers on how to take care of yourself and is very compassionate and knows what she's doing. I have never felt more comfortable during a wax. read more

I have no idea why this place gets such good reviews. I took my out-of-town friend here for a mani-pedi. I figured I'd try something new and since the reviews were good... Boy was I disappointed. I only got a mani. The quality was so poor I could have done better painting my nails myself. The polish started fading the next day. My friend got a pedicure which seemed to hold up a bit better, but again her mani started falling apart the next day. Sometimes the less appealing places can be a great find; this is not one of those places. read more

I love this place! I go strictly for waxes and Lana is my Savior!! Quick, courteous, great customer service and the sweetest lady I know in this profession. I highly recommend her and the the staff for any personal needs. read more

Clean. Professional. Friendly. Fast. Kind I went to "your spa" for a Brazilian last Monday and I have a semi low pain tolerance, (don't get me wrong, it still hurt!) But Lana made my experience absolutely amazing. She was patient, super funny, sweet and kind. I had a Groupon and some places will treat you as lesser than if you buy a Groupon but not this place! I got in and got out in about 30 minutes which would have been lesser but she was kinda enough to give me mini breaks. :) She was a perfectionist and wanted to make everything look perfect. Getting a Brazilian can be a vulnerable experience, so if its your first time or you're looking to switch salons I definitely recommend "Your Spa" and Lana. I will be going back! read more

Lana was awesome! The wax was less than 10 minutes - she's so fast and efficient, and very little pain. Also with free, easy, parking: this place is def a five star spa for me :) read more

I go there for facials, and have never been disappointed. Lana does an amazing job with my skin, and I have the most high maintenance skin possible - a sensitive combination skin with a t-zone. I look 10 years younger than my age, and I credit Lana's work for it. She has such light hands that my skin heals after a very thorough facial in less than a day. Literally, I can do a facial in the morning, and go out the same night looking my best. And, finally, what I like about Lana is her polite but no bs approach to telling you exactly what is right for your skin. They are also great with waxing, my eyebrows look great, and I hear their masseuse is so good she is usually overbooked. Several reviewers mentioned parking which can be a pain, but truthfully I have never been too inconvenienced by it. I could always find parking in the back, or at a meter. Finally, I highly recommend that you make an appointment. They get very busy during the day, and quite a few walk-ins get turned away. read more

GREAT place to get a pedicure. For only $12 for a pedicure + $4 for french, the girls do a very thorough job of cleaning your toenails and getting rid of calluses. It is NOT a spa pedicure however, so that means no fancy massage chair or jacuzzi foot tub. Like the other reviewers said, the place is tiny but if you're looking for something cheap and a good pedicure that lasts, this is the place to go. This is not the place to go if you want to relax in a fancy and comfortable environment. I've also gotten acrylics done here before. Although it's offered at a decent price, I've gotten it done much better elsewhere, so I don't recommend getting acrylics done here. read more

Yes,I agree on all the positive comments.Lana is excellent for waxing and her price is quite reasonable for the Westside. read more

One year later, and I had to leave another amazing review for Lana. She is so amazing and so sweet, there is no other person you want waxing you! Honestly, I act like a wimp every time I go because I am infact worse than a baby with pain tolerance, but she always knows how to help me out. She makes the best small talk and literally always has me in and out in 10 minutes! read more

Lana is a wonderful person and great esthetician. She really cares about you and makes sure you are getting results. Thank you so much for such an attention and care! The nail ladies are also very good, my family have been going to do a mani pedi here for years. And prices are very reasonable. read more

I've been going to Your Spa for over 15 years now. They are my family. I moved from the area last year & drive 20 miles every 2 weeks because I can't find anyone better or who I would rather give my money too. Thuy does my nails & is so good at it. My nails look perfect every time & the color lasts almost the entire 2 weeks until I come again. I adore Thuy!! Lana does my waxing and facials. She is knowledgable & wonderful at everything she does. She cares about me & it shows. Sergei, is Lana's husband and is a masseuse. He has given me the best massages I've ever had. He takes his time, figures out what your body needs & cares about making it a great experience. I feel better every time I leave. Definitely make an appointment, you won't be disappointed. I love them all! read more

Found this place through a Groupon deal, and I love it! I always kind of dread waxing because it hurts, but Lana made it really quick and kept the conversation going (which helped me distract myself from the pain). Also I swear it was the fastest waxing I've ever gotten (took maybe 5 min??). Thank you Lana, love how cheerful you are and I will be back soon! read more

Your Spa's secret weapon is Lana who does the best eyebrows waxing if you're on the westside. She's cool and easy to walk-in and get waxed except on weekends when she's slammed with appointments. She keeps me looking great. You'll love her. read more

Love it! This is my permanent wax shop. Super fast and Lana is amazing and soo nice. Highly recommend.

Just had my second bikini wax ever, and my first wax with Lana. I came in with the groupon and didn't realize I made an appointment, but she was able to accommodate me. Let me tell you... it was over SO quickly - we're talking like 3 minutes. Obviously it still hurt but was way less painful than European Wax Center. Safe to say I will be coming again in 4 weeks. Thanks Lana! read more

All I can say is wow! I got a Brazilian and I have a low tolerance for pain, and while this still was fairly painful in some areas, the overall experience was drastically better than my first experience at European wax center (i walked out of that place before it was finished). Very nice, good customer service and super quick, I will be back! read more

This place is kind of dinky. There are no fancy decorations or massage/spa chairs. However, I always get a perfect pedicure when I come here. I also get a quick and easy waxing, and the massage with hot stones made me want to die happy. To top it all off, the prices are awesome. If you live close by, I recommend checking it out. They've got a steady stream of customers on the books but can also take walk-ins as well. Don't be scared. They're really good. read more

WHAT! A full Brazilian wax in 5 minutes!? Lana, where have you been all my life? No nonsense, no small talk, down to business. Lana even accommodated my request for an appointment slightly before her official business hours. I'm extremely pleased on every level. read more

I just went here to get a polish change pedi and a polish change french mani and had a great experience. The place is small so DO call ahead to get in. I'm curious to see how they do their fills and depending on that I'll bump it up to 4 stars. All in all I had a very nice experience. I also took note of the 3 women that came through to get their eyebrows done and noticed I really need to get mine done ... I'll also give them a try with my brows next time. Good service. Affordable. Call ahead! read more

I'm so confused by these reviews...I work right next door to this place so on a whim I walked in on a Friday for a mani/pedi. They were able to take me right away but turned people away after me. The place is cramped, the three stations barley fit in there and there's no space if all three are doing pedicures at the same time. The other two manicurists had appointments with people who appeared to be regulars. The person (sorry no name?!?) who did my nails took forever, not because she was doing a great job but because she was slow. In fact she cut my nail below the nail bed and it really f*$!@! hurt. Both my toes and nails were cut and cut at strange angles so they couldn't be shaped properly and she never even asked round or square. I said I only wanted clear polish on my nails and she proceeded to use a pinky tone polish and I said no I just want clear so she had to fix that. My foot/calf massage was half assed and there was no hand/arm massage. And they totally try to skip on the polish the coats are so thin that I had to have her add more so that it didn't look streaky. Like the other reviewers said it took 1.5 hours which was not all a testament to the quality but just to slowness. On the other hand, during my 2 hours there several women came in and saw Lana and had their eyebrows waxed and they all came out looking fantastic. If it hadn't taken so f'in long to have the mani/pedi I would have tried to squeeze in a quick brow wax. I might be back to see Lana but I won't be back for a mani/pedi! read more

Found this place like everyone else via Groupon and can't say it enough... Lana is AMAZING! Will definitely be coming back here every time I need a wax! read more

i'd actually give this place 3.5 stars it's a very small, hole in the wall, nail salon. there are 3 manicure stations, and 3 desk chairs set up to do pedicures. there are no frills, and probably a wait. after i was seated, 3 women were turned away (actually told to come back another time). I was lucky to walk in without an appointment, at just the right time. the attention to detail is what earned them a solid rating. my mani/pedi took about 1.5 hrs with someone working on my hands and feet simultaneously. It was $24 total for both. They only accept Cash or Check. You can use the ATM next door at Ralphs if you need cash. They have a small parking lot in the back. There is also street parking, and parking at Ralphs if you dare This isn't a place to go if you're on a rush. It's walking distance from my office, and I will probably return read more

Waxing here with Lana is awesome ! She is polite and helps make the waxing process easy

Lana is awesome! Warm, friendly, fast, meticulous waxing skills, reasonable prices--perfect. Spa is small, not fancy, but clean, friendly and convenient, with easy parking in back. Can't recommend highly enough. read more

WThis neighborhood nail salon is a hidden gem. I've been a client for the past 4 years and would like to keep it a secret so they don't get flooded with business but would also like to support them and make sure they stay here for at least another 15 years! This is a no frills salon so don't expect fancy massage chairs and decorations - but the prices are reflective and the quality of service exceeds that of the best spas. Every time I've been out of town and had to resort to another nail salon, italways reminds me of how lucky I am to have found my regular spot. The ladies are attentive, skilled and sweet. I call my nail lady a "nail artist", she is truly a perfectionist. Now that I've shared my secret - go and enjoy before this place becomes overcrowded! read more
