He is a solid professional who has provided me with outstanding care post TKR. He has worked with Dr. Stolarski (Kennedy White) for 15 years and is part of his after care team. He and his business partner Samuel Mahrous, DPT, have recently opened a new practice in Venice - Phyziopro - to meet patients' needs south of Sarasota. Rounding out the team is Alfred's son, Thomas, who is starting his doctorate in PT later this year. Great protocols during covid and a supportive, caring culture combined with top notch expertise makes them a winning combo. Their website is under construction. Reach them at 941-303-5630.

I was in excruciating pain when I was evaluated by Dr. Berman.. Both of my knees have bothered me…read morefor at least 20 years. I have been to several orthopaedic surgeons who either gave me shots of cortisone or suggested joint replacements. Then I found Sarasota Spine and Joint on Facebook. It appeared several times and I thought why not go for a free consultation, I had nothing to loose. It was one of the best decisions of my life. Dr. Berman recommended me to his partner Dr. Harris who took x-rays and did a thorough exam. He reviewed the x-rays with me and said they did not indicate joint replacements. What a relief. He is kind and personally interested in my well being. He suggested physical therapy and that braces might be helpful when exercising. Two days later I began physical therapy at the same location with Ali Salari, D.C., D.P.T. He was very thorough and laid out a plan for me. I go three times a week and do exercises at home. I just completed my sixth visit. I am a new person. When I woke this morning my pain had gone from a 10 out of 10 to a 0 out of 10 in both knees. After a long day of therapy and grocery shopping, my right knee pain is a 3 out of 10 and the left is a 4 out of 10. This is amazing. They have given me a new lease on life. Up until now nighttime was filled with incredible pain and icing my knees every hour. I was taking high doses of OTC pain medicine. I only slept a few hours a night and the pain would wake me every couple of hours. I haven't felt rested in years. I gained a tremendous amount of weight not being able to exercise. I quit a career in real estate due to not being able to go up or downstairs. We moved into a ranch because I couldn't handle steps, not even once a day. I can't believe only 3 weeks ago I had my first appointment here. Both Tameka and Alex the P.T.A.'s who assist Ali are kind, attentive, and sincerely concerned with my progress. I highly recommend anyone suffering with knee or any joint pain to make an appointment today. The worst thing that can happen is they can't help you. The best thing is you might enjoy a life with little to no pain.

They are MILKING Medicare and insurance. They insisted on an ex-ray even though we had recent ones forwarded from a prior doctor out of state. Went in expecting an injection and all he got was an "exam", someone feeling the knee. This is after FOUR visits. He called again to FINALLY get injections in both knees. They insisted on making separate appointments for each knee. When the explanation of benefits come from Medicare, we will be reporting the scam.

I was dragging my left leg when I walked in and walked out without a limp after the first treatment. Therapist Stacey Goodale has a cheerful attitude and magic fingers. As a nurse and unfortunately a frequent healthcare consumer I am grateful for Platinum Healthcare…read more I came in for a "simple" adjustment and stayed for an entire experience. It was more than I expected. Apparently these are new owners. Dr Danielle is amazing. I've had a lot of chiropractic care. I used to belong to a chiropractic "club "where I could get nearly unlimited adjustments, so I am not new to the experience. But this was different. He took the time to LISTEN and actually try to solve for the problem. I was in the area for a vacation, my only regret is that I can't come back regularly. I've been a nurse for over 20 years, a long with that career comes a plethora of somatic complaints.... low back pain, foot pain, and a just general discomfort and low energy from a live well lived. Dr. Danielle recommended I see Daphna his nurse practitioner. Not going to lie, at first I thought, maybe he was trying to upsell me some services, but after speaking with her I ended up opting for some additional services. I suggest looking into stem cell treatment for chronic pain management. I'm not trying to end up in a nurse Jackie situation, (IYKYK) but living with chronic pain is at times unbearable. It's great that there is a practice out here offering non-narcotic options that provide real relief. While I was here, I also spoke with them about my low energy levels and some general issues I was having. Daphna gave me a B12 injection that left me feeling like I haven't spent a lifetime on night shift. I'm not sure where all of the negative reviews are coming from, but I highly doubt they are a result of anything going on in the office currently. This office is clean, courteous, professional, and offering cutting edge services that aren't available at this price point anywhere else in the area 10/10 recommend going in for a consultation and leaving feeling like a million bucks without dropping a whole bag.

My first visit with Dr. D'Sousa was several years ago. For several mornings, before getting out of bed, I would have a sensation like my phone was under the sheet vibrating and making the area around my elbow feel quivery. He knew right away it was my ulnar nerve. By the second treatment, I had no more problems, nor have I had any ever since. My journey with Dr. D'Sousa has continued on a regular basis, basically with regular treatments regarding postural issues I have had over 15 years from an injured knee. I probably would have chosen surgery years ago if it were not for my regular maintenance schedule with Dr.D'Sousa. Dr. D'Sousa has given me faith my body can heal and also perform or a higher level than I ever thought possible. The staff in Dr. D'Sousa's office is courteous and caring. Everyone is very hospitable and always make me feel welcome. And... my time spent on the spinal decompression machine is like a spa treatment - it's meditative with wonderful classical music - my 15 minutes of definitive "me time" for the whole day! I heartily recommend Dr. D'Sousa and his practice for anyone needing chiropractic care!
