I have an incredible story to share about Back in Motion in Sarasota. I've gone to PT in Maine, Ohio, North Carolina, Tampa and 2 other places in Sarasota due to several orthopedic surgeries and accidents over a 15 year span. I know what it feels like to be in pain and not felt understood. I know the frustrations of setting up appointments and dealing with uncaring personnel who are "just doing thier job for a paycheck". I know the fear of the unknown of if I will ever get better; not just once but multiple times in my life. In 2019 I went to a PT in Sarasota for 8 weeks and saw no results. She not only wouldn't listen when I told her my Fibro was flared and I couldn't over exert that session, she would then shame me for feeling this way. When I decided to look for another PT I was very discouraged but decided to brave the internet and find someone with good reviews. Back in Motion had rave reviews and a lot of them. From the first day I called through all the visits for the last seven monthes, they have never let me down. From Rosie at the front desk who is awesome; always a smile on her face and happy to help with anything to my first PT's, Pete and Joey and then Carole, all who have their own specialties, to Tim, the owner, and Shanon who checks me out. Carole spent months bringing me to as pain free of a level that she could achieve with all her different talents. Her encouragement keep my drive going. This place works like a well oiled machine. Everyone is extrenely professional and very educated. The reception area, batrooms, work out room and private rooms are spotless. Everyone works together as a team and best of all, THEY CARE. It's obvious in how everyone does thier job. Tim, the owner, does meticulous reports and communicates with me better than my doctor. I have never been so well taken care of in the medical field period. I would highly recommend this physical therapy group on Bee Ridge Road. 10/17/11 Amazingly Healing Therapy with a smile! by SevereBackpaingirl at Citysearch A total mind, body and soul experience!!! When I first arrived at BIM, I was a wreck. I was in a motor vehicle accident, age 26 and falling apart. My neck and back were so stiff that my shoulders touched my ears. With the magical hands of David, Gina , Mike and Tim I was able to regain 90% of my range of motion. My pain is now minimal and I've even learned how to do home exercises that will increase my flexibility and stregnth. BIM is a wonderful place, where, as soon as you walk in, you are greeted by their smiling receptionists always ready to assist you. At Back in motion I am pushed to my full potential and encouraged to work hard at my goals. The staff is very confidant at what they do and informative on my condition as well as with other patients with various degrees of physical conditions. Back in motion is the place to go to get the job done with a few added laughs along the way. The staff is great and thoughtful. I was impressed when they called me to ask if I could come in when I got back from my vacation! It meant so much to me that the girls at Back in motion remembered my coming back into town and placed a call to get me on the schedule. They even offer free transportation for my darling neighbor that can no longer drive to and from her therapy sessions. Back in motion definitely goes above and beyond to get myself and others the help they need. They were the only ones in town that took my insurance plan and have an open relationship with my Doctor and that helps a great deal. I wouldn't go any other place for my therapy! read more

This is a great Physical Therapy Clinic. I first heard of them through an event at Crunch Fitness. They blew my mind. I believe her name is Madison, she was so educated on the services they provided. She convinced me to get on the table with America their Licensed Massage Therapist. She was able to stretch me and make my back feel much better. After i discussed some more with Madison about coming in and making an appointment for my golfers elbow. I have now been to Back In Motion Physical Therapy 3 times and plan to continue to go to get Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy. They also gave me a free 15 minute laser session. It really helped relieve pain. I highly recommend Back In Motion. Their staff is so friendly and they do such a great job. This is a great company. They took me in with open arms after my surgery. I needed intense therapy and they also got my father in. he went from needing help from another person to get up, to being able to do sit to stands on his own. They blow my mind between their great staff and amazing therapists. To calling to remind you about your appointment, to birthday cards, to the best therapy I HAVE EVER received. Their revolutionary treatments and equipment is better then any other clinic I have ever been too. I plan to recommend them to everyone as well as be a loyal customer and return any time I need therapy. Even after my therapy was done, I am continuing to see their massage therapist. I have certainly enjoyed my experience at Back in Motion physical therapy. The front desk staff was efficient and went the extra mile to get my therapy authorized and helped me to schedule around my crazy schedule. Back in Motion therapists were very professional, and got ONE ON ONE care the entire length of my rehab. I've been to a couple of other PT places and was passed back and forth, usually between "techs". These therapists are all quite experienced in manual care and exercise (I asked, mine had over 12 years in, another had nearly 20!) and really care that you get better. Diet Foods & Weight Loss Clinic got me on track after the "holiday bulge" set in! I've already lost 8lbs in 2 weeks on their plan using the Ideal Protein weight loss method. The initial consult was not intimidating at all like other places I've been. Jasmin has been very helpful and accommodating to all of my needs and questions, which is so nice! I have watched Back in Motion progress greatly over the past couple years. Due to my occupation, I have been in and out of there Sarasota clinic over the course of three years. Some of the best pain relieving treatments that I have received from Back in Motion utilized cold laser therapy and the fenzian. I don t understand fully what these instruments do, even after the staff took the time to explain during treatment, but it truly works.
