She's also reasonably priced! Amazing. When I leave my dog with Melissa, she'll text me pictures and updates with how he's doing. Really eases my mind. My cat is…read morenot naturally affectionate towards strangers (some people she meets and instantly dislikes) so this, for me, was a very good sign. Kristine is the first cat sitter I've used in LA, but when I lived elsewhere, we had cat sitters who did not seem to bond with my cat. In fact, the reports I got back when I returned from my trip were always along the lines of, "Your cat seems fine, but I never saw her during any of my visits!" Not only does my cat like Kristine, but she enjoys playing with her, too. And I really appreciated the photos Kristine emailed me every night. They showed that my cat was doing well, was cared for, and was being loved in my absence. And as a cat parent, that makes all the difference to me. I used to get so worried when I never heard anything from my previous cat sitters. Was my cat actually being cared for or had she been forgotten? With Kristine, I never had to wonder. I could enjoy my trip and my cat could enjoy fresh food and water (and a clean litterbox) in the comfort of our home. Oh, and Kristine watered my plants for me, too. It was so nice to come home to a happy cat and happy plants!

I love dogs and spend a lot of time thinking about how they can be better understood, loved, and cared for. For that reason, I tend to avoid kennels. Doggie Daycare is not only important, but it's necessary: dogs need to socialize often. End of that story. But leaving a dog in a kennel for days on end can be very stressful to them, particularly if you cannot afford to put them in a private space each night they are there. Their nerves get frazzled. Ideally, we'd have a safe and trusting place to take our dogs, like a friend's house. Or, we'd have someone we trust to come to our place and stay with our pets. I found that person in Kristine. From the moment she comes in the door, she lets my dog know that she's there for him. You can tell that she treats the dogs in her care as her own. Usually I come home and my dog looks a bit upset that I left for a whole weekend or week. This last trip, I came home and he seemed a bit sad that I wasn't Kristine coming through the door. I had to laugh. It was cute. But more importantly, it was very clear to me that I made a great choice in trusting Kristine. She is responsible. She has a car in case of emergencies or to take your dog for a walk or to a dog park. She has a warm personality and she is smart and attentive. I can't say enough about her. She is great. I will add that I interviewed a dozen or so kennels and dog sitters in West LA. If you want to save time, trust me on this. Or do what I did and spend weeks and weeks trying to find the right choice and then end up going with Kristine anyway.

One of the biggest signs that a daycare is doing something right is how excited a dog is to go back, and Daisy is always happy when we arrive. What really stands out is the environment. Instead of being stuck indoors on concrete, the dogs have access to a beautiful garden with real grass, trees, and plenty of space to run, play, and relax. It feels much more like a home than a traditional boarding facility. I also appreciate the daily photos and videos. It's reassuring to see Daisy interacting with the other dogs, enjoying herself, and being well cared for while I'm away. The updates give me peace of mind and make it easy to see that the dogs are receiving personal attention and affection. The owner is knowledgeable, experienced, and clearly understands dog behavior. The dogs in her care are friendly, well-socialized, and carefully matched. I've always felt comfortable leaving Daisy there, whether for daycare or overnight boarding. It's not easy finding someone you trust with your dog, but TLG Doggy Daycare has earned that trust. Daisy comes home happy, healthy, and tired from all the fun she's had. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and enriching environment for their dog. Daisy and I are very grateful to have found this place! This one is for Google

They offer daycare, boarding, and training, and their experience truly shows. The team is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to dog behavior and training, which gives me a lot of confidence--especially when it comes to puppies who need guidance, structure, and patience. The environment is one of the things I appreciate most. It's consistently clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. The space offers both indoor and outdoor access, and the outdoor areas are especially beautiful, with fruit trees and plenty of room for dogs to run, play, and explore. It's such a natural, enriching setting where dogs can safely enjoy themselves--chasing birds and squirrels while getting lots of exercise. Safety and security are clearly a priority, and I always feel at ease knowing the dogs are in a well-secured environment. On top of that, communication is always easy and reliable. They are responsive, supportive, and genuinely care about both the dogs and their owners. It's rare to find a place that combines experience, cleanliness, a calm atmosphere, and true compassion the way they do. After more than 20 years of knowing them, I can confidently say they are one of the most reputable and trustworthy dog care providers in West Los Angeles. I Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and knowledgeable place for their dog or puppy.

He plays and socializes all day and when I pick him up he is exhausted! Recently, we engaged Rhoda, the manager and trainer, to do a more advanced board and train program. We were trying to lower anxiety, crate train, reinforce his good obedient behavior, and lessen reactivity to other dogs and people. This has been incredibly successful! Rhoda sent daily video's of his progress and the results have been quite impressive! I highly recommend Rhoda and the K9's Only team for your training, boarding and daycare needs. They also offer full grooming options for a reasonable price. One last thing, the other night I had a medical emergency and because of his boarding training, I was able to call Bella at the school and make arrangements to have Biscotti boarded which allowed me to go to the hospital without worrying about Biscotti's wellbeing. Bella took care of all the details on short notice and was very kind and understanding! I knew that Biscotti was going to be taken care of and happy! This allowed me the peace of mind to tackle my emergency health issues! I believe having a place like K9's Only on your side is a crucial part of dog care.

We don't know much about our dog's background, but it's pretty clear we've been working to undo years without training, so it was a substantial task to take on. On top of that, while our rescue is a gentle soul, she clearly has some past trauma that leads her to behave aggressively in some situations, and Caryl was a pro at asking the right questions, and giving clear advice about how to handle these situations. We knew she was the trainer for us because she spent so much time in our initial call getting to know us, our rescue, and our situation, and providing insightful suggestions based on what she learned. For example, we had no idea that tracheal collapse was such a big issue for small breeds, and she not only recommended that we immediately switch to using a harness, but recommended a harness that has worked out great for our dog!

While one trainer was helpful with teaching mechanical commands, it didn't address our pup's serious separation anxiety and fearful behaviors. We finally decided on a 3rd trainer, one who was a certified dog consultant. Caryl has been tremendously helpful from the very first zoom session. She meticulously reviewed our concerns, asked for elaboration, and helped us understand the underlying issues to address. We applied the suggestions and within 4 days, emailed her our progress to show just how much happened in those 4 days! Our pup is a quick learner and our new way of being with him and training him immediately clicked. He stopped running the show and we understood how to address his needs while determining the order of routines on our schedule. Caryl recommended great books, items and tools for creating the right environment for our pup, and handouts that we really appreciated to reference between sessions. We can tell she's very experienced and caring and we trust her as she helps us take the measured and patient steps to help our dog overcome his fear and undesirable behaviors. We feel so reassured to have her guidance as we learn to be better dog parents. Our life is so much more manageable now that we understand our dog and his needs and ways to respond to him. Being equipped with knowledge and skills helped along by Caryl makes such a difference! We highly recommend her. It brings a lot of pride to see our dog grow and learn too.
