BUYERS BEWARE…read more.... On 22nd of November I purchased a jumper for my husband. I went to the till to pay. After 15mins of waiting with 2 customers in front of me I finally got to purchase this item. The shop assistant was clearly not having a good day and came across very rude. When processing my transaction she was distracted, advised me to follow instruction on the CC machine, which I did and machine advised transaction complete, Remove card. The shop assistant eventually returned to till and advised that I needed to put my card back in to complete transaction. I advised that the transaction had shown complete on machine but she was insisting that I had not paid and i had to redo transaction. Stupidly I put in my pin again and headed off. 20mins later I checked my bank account and there was 2 transactions put through with 2 separate authorisation codes. I went back into shop and spoke to the manager. She denied that this was anything to do with their shop and said it was the banks problem and that she could guarantee me that money would be back in my account next day. My husband tried to advise her that CC machine would be able to give her a report to confirm processed transactions, to which she laughed and sniggered while dismissing everything that was being said. I asked her for her name, she refused to give it and said this was for GDPR reasons!!!!! She eventually agreed to give me her name which was ROSIO. She advised she would ring me the next day which never happened. After calling everyday after I finally got through to the shop on Monday 25th and spoke with assistant manager. Again he denied this was anything to do with their shop and it was the banks issue and the money will land back in my account the next day. It is now the 29th November 7 days after and Massimo Dutti are refusing to refund the 2nd payment they took off my card. The bank have 2 authorisation codes for both transactions so therefore there's nothing they can do for me. Lovely shop but the customer service and attitude of Apparent manager was horrendous, so far they have taken €70 off me for nothing and deny it. I will update this thread if there is any change. Very dissappointed customer. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I'm a big fan of their Blazers/coats also their chino/jeans range are great and although the pricer of the high street stores, everything wears and washes really well making their clothes great value. What's stands out here too is the customer service; they are so attentive and anyone whose assisted me have always been very thorough; checking the stock room for you without the huffs or sighs that you get from other stores plus they also offer advice on tailoring and in fact, you can have alterations done with them so after buying they measure you up and within a few days you can collect and your purchase is as snug as a bug... Very handy to know, for me I'm short to finding the right leg length is always difficult.

This irritates me profoundly. Michael Barries is the antithesis to this. As I walked in I was greeted by a normal human being who asked what I was after, gave me a few suggestions, pointed me in the right direction and then simply left me be to browse. The selection ranges from casual pub wear to suits, jackets, and ties. Everything I saw was geared firmly towards understated, old school men's style. If you're after the metro look this probably isn't for you. After a few minutes my amateur shopper status must have been evident as he wandered over and made a few suggestions based on my measurements and what I was looking for. Much to my satisfaction they all fitted perfectly. Happy days. In addition to what I was buying I also had my eye on a jacket, which was admittedly a little more expensive than I would normally be comfortable with. I tried it on and as I was buying quite a bit, normal human being sales dude said he'd knock €200 off it. I gave him a lower cash price for the lot, he agreed and the deal was done. If like me you are a person who will shop for quite a bit once or twice a year, who likes classic men's style, and who doesn't want clothes which make an ironic statement or highlight your borrowed nostalgia for 80s synth pop, then this is the place for you. Now after living here almost five months I have finally found a more superior quality dress shirt that not only beats out Brooks Brothers but every other shirt I have bought in the US as well. I highly recommend this place. As far as affordability, this place is great as well. Typically they always have a 3 for $120 sale, however the last time I came in (this weekend) they also had a 5 for $120 on most dress shirts and 4 for $120 for non-iron and other luxury shirts. Really not bad at all considering the quality. The sale was so good that I also picked up a couple ties which were also discounted. As far as the non-iron shirts, the quality withstands washing and bounces right back with minimal or no touch up ironing. No dry cleaning necessary for these which saves on the maintenance cost for a quality shirt. If you can hang them up right out of the dryer, they will be perfect. The staff are also very friendly and helpful with looking for additional sizes in the back. I have been here a few times and will continue to only buy my shirts here while in Ireland.

They had run out of cups when we stopped in for coffee, but it just meant that we got to have a nice chat with the owner while a staff member had run up to Clement and Pekoe to get more cups. There is a small selection of clothing items and accessories on the ground floor along with the coffee bar and then upstairs there is a larger selection of clothes. My 3 star rating is mostly based on the fact that I amn't the biggest fan of filter coffee, and also that I thought the clothes were slightly overpriced. However, the staff were super lovely, and the I loved the rugged, slightly warehousey feel of the shop.

I bought my first (and to date, only) real suit in River Island, and some four years later it is still on the go. They are meant to be moving River Island from within Arnotts to the Ilac Shopping Centre, so that should be a funny one: I doubt if any on River Island's nattily dressed patrons have ever set foot within the grotty confines of the Ilac (though this was anounced about a year ago, and since everything has gone to shit even worse since then, economically speaking, this move may have been put on hold).

The decor of the place was slightly questionable, but the girl on the till was lovely and overall I was very impressed by K-OT-IK. But please management, change the name.

The minor alteration for the length and the additions of brace buttons was completed while I shopped for additional items. Beyond the fantastic selection, Louis and his team made me feel like a celebrity, even though I'm a regular Joe. This goes to show how much they care for every customer that walks through their doors. Needless to say, this won't be the last time I frequent that shop.
