I was told everything would be ready for pick-up on Saturday (as stated on the receipt) so I stopped in yesterday. The clothes are needed for work on Monday morning. When I handed the cashier my receipt, I was informed that my blouses were ready, but not my pants. I was not happy with this. The owner, Ria, approached me and said she didn't have my pants and asked when I needed them. I explained I work in Center City and wouldn't have time to come by before work on Monday. She said she could meet me at the dry cleaners today (Sunday) and provide the pants. My understanding is they don't dry clean dress slacks on premise. She took down my phone number and said she'd call me. Yesterday evening I got a phone call from Ria saying she had 4 pairs of pants ready and was willing to drop them off to me at my doorstep. I didn't know what to say. She drove from her home to get me my pants and hand them to me. The customer service blew me away. Ria said I would get a text message indicating when I could pick up the remaining pairs of pants. I'm sure you could imagine how displeased I could've been walking away from this business, but Ria was quick to turn a negative experience around and make sure I was a happy client. I can't thank Ria and Julie's enough for their dedication to their customers.

I had a wedding guest gown that needed to be taken up and it had to be done by that Friday. I drove to the shop and it was a small place with two rooms. It was in an old building, next to a realtor, with parking in a lot. The inside was old and also beat up, dirty, and dusty but I didn't let that bother me. A woman was working on the sewing machine. I don't know if that's Eric's wife. There's a room to change in the back so I put the dress on and Eric measured it. I left. Eric texted me that the dress was ready Friday morning. I picked it up and it was the perfect length. It looked great! It was taken up at the waist so the pretty bottom of the dress that had an asymmetrical ruffle was not touched. I was very happy with it. Later that day, I accidentally dialed the store number so hung up quickly. Eric saw that I called and called me back to make sure that everything was ok. How nice is that? I highly recommend this shop for anything that you need tailored. They do a wonderful job and it's worth every penny!

If I could give Natasha and the team at Stitch & Style more than 5 stars, I would! They truly saved…read morethe day for me. I was only 3 months postpartum and had purposely waited to shop for my wedding dress because I had no idea what size I would be after pregnancy. Unfortunately, that meant I didn't go dress shopping until August 8th with our wedding week beginning September 1st. I knew the timeline was crazy, but after buying my dress off the rack, I still needed A LOT done in less than three weeks. The dress needed to be dry cleaned, there were tears in the mesh back that needed to be repaired, the zipper needed to be replaced, the straps needed work, cups needed to be added, it needed to be altered to fit me, and I still needed a bustle. I called so many places and was either turned away, quoted extremely high rush fees, or made to feel terrible for having waited so long. Stitch & Style had originally been highly recommended to me by the bridal shop where I purchased my dress, so when I was running out of options I finally called and basically said, "I know this is insane, I'm 3 months postpartum and getting married in 3 weeks...can you help me?" From that very first phone call, Natasha was SO kind, reassuring and completely nonjudgmental. She immediately made an incredibly stressful situation feel manageable and assured me that we could get it done before we left for Cape May. I was also so excited to find out they had just opened their Newtown location--I actually ended up being their very first customer there! Natasha made my dress a priority over those next few weeks and stayed in constant communication with me throughout the entire process. She even took the dress herself to the dry cleaner they work with so we could get that taken care of immediately before alterations began. She and her team accomplished an unbelievable amount of work in such a short period of time, and the finished dress fit PERFECTLY. I genuinely couldn't believe how good I felt when I put it on. Even at my final fitting, Natasha thought of the little things. Because my bustle tucked underneath the dress and wasn't necessarily obvious, she set up my phone and recorded a step-by-step video showing exactly how to bustle it so I could send it to my bridesmaids for the wedding day. That little detail says so much about the level of care she puts into her work. Considering everything they had to do and the incredibly short turnaround time, I also thought the pricing was extremely fair. More than anything, though, I will always remember how Natasha treated me. She made me feel like I had known her forever and turned what had become one of the most stressful parts of wedding planning into something I didn't have to worry about anymore. I cannot thank Natasha and her team enough. My dress looked and fit beautifully, everything was finished on time, and I got to leave for my wedding knowing it was completely taken care of. I will recommend Stitch & Style over and over again--and anything I ever need altered in the future is going straight to Natasha.

I have been searching for years to find a truly talented seamstress, and I honestly feel so lucky…read moreto have found them!!! I first met my friends at Stitch and Style during a difficult time when I was dealing with some health issues. They were incredibly patient and understanding, never making me feel rushed, even when I wasn't sure how long I'd be able to stand for fittings. That kindness meant more than they probably realize. I'm extremely particular about my clothes, especially my jeans. When they're hemmed, I want the original seam preserved and the width at the bottom to look exactly the way it did before. They nail it every single time. The quality of their work is flawless. There have also been a few times when I needed alterations at the last minute, and they went out of their way to accommodate me. That level of customer service is rare these days. I've also seen some of the custom dresses they've created, and the craftsmanship is absolutely stunning. I shop at high end stores, and I won't settle for anything less than perfection when it comes to alterations. They consistently exceed my expectations. I almost hate writing this review because part of me wants to keep them my little secret! But they deserve every bit of recognition. If you're looking for exceptional workmanship, professionalism, and genuinely kind people, you won't find anyone better. Karen K
