Pros: Both cheap and quick. I was happy with the items I received back. Cons: I dropped off 5 items of clothing to get tailored last month at the Oxford Valley Mall. They lost 1 of my 5 items. I've gone back more than once and tried calling. Not to bash but that's horrible service. Not to mention the dress that got "lost" was one I inherited from a family member who passed away. He did a great job altering my skirt and was able to do it really quick. I ended up paying only $18 to get my leather skirt altered when other places had quoted me a lot more. The work is done seamlessly and you can't even tell. I would recommend but suggest following up with him via phone to make sure your items are done before showing up. Very nice gentleman read more

Thanh Le, at the Exton Square mall, is an excellent seamstress, even for unusual requests. In the past I've had her do alterations to various items of clothing, but this time I wanted an additional strap firmly attached to a favorite backpack, and the way she did it seems like it was originally constructed that way. Very clean. She is very professional, pays attention to details, is very quick, and sincerely wants her customers to be happy with her work. I highly recommend her. read more

I dropped off a designer dress with new tags still attached To be altered over 3 months ago.The weather was still warm. The tailor, Adam, he had to order fabric to match. That took over 1 month. He got it and would have it ready in a couple days he told me.I go back 3 more times to go pick it up and still not ready. Each time saying "I'm so busy , I have customers"."I don't have time to look for your dress. A month goes by, I stop by and no dress, no alteration. He says go look for the dress in the store. He tells me to go back of store to look and that room had a long rack that was disheavled with piles of clothes on the floor in a big mess. No organization to it. He said I could look in the store, no dress. Then tells me go to back of store and go through many plastic retail bags that were tied up. Along with multiple bags of trash. I couldn't find my dress. I opened the bags, no dress. My dress is no where to be found in this store. Keeps telling me it's here, but It was not. Also keeps telling me he's very busy and has customers . I told him I'm a customer too. I want my dress back and not have it altered at this point. I have other plans for this dress. Kept saying," why you need it if you can't wear it".Quite frankly, it's none of his business why I want it back. I needed this dress in the beginning of October. If anyone takes clothes there to be altered make sure you take a picture of it before you leave it as proof. I'm fed up. I just want my dress back and forget about the alterations. Dump that butchered my dress. I brought in a bridesmaid dress that just needed to be taken in slightly. The place is disgusting; it smells like rotting fish, there are piles of clothes everywhere, and the floor is filthy and covered in stray pins. The guy told me to put on my dress in the "fitting room," which is a shady, rickety little box in the back of the store. I come back out, he kind of tugs on the dress on the side, makes 2 marks and says "OK you done." I should have just left but I just wanted to be done and have this dress altered. He gave me the receipt and said it would be done the following Thursday (I brought the dress in Saturday afternoon). Thursday night rolls around. At 7:30 I go to pick up the dress (the store closes at 9) and he hasn't even started it yet. He tells me to come back in 45 minutes. I do, and the dress fits, but the seam is absolutely butchered (see picture). I point it out and he throws a fit, saying it is done right and fits. At this point I just wanted to be done with the place, so I paid and left. Don't waste your time or money here. They have no clue what they're doing and will end up ruining your clothes. read more

Since I relocated here, I tried a few tailors around Yardley / Morrisville area and didn't get the personal service and care from others as I did at TD Alerations. Prices are very reasonable too compared to other places. Most importantly, unlike other shops, this shop is open 7 days a week and has mall hours. Nice. Thanh, the owner, was honest and fast. He quickly tailored my slacks that I needed next day. I found out that he has over 20 years of experience and several other locations. Also, most of the department stores, like Macys, go to him for alterations. The shop seems busy since I saw people bringing their tuxedos, dresses, and gowns. But, Thanh was still able to somehow tailor my clothes faster than other places I tried. I will only go to TD Alerations from now on! read more

The guy running T D Alterations has been there for over 7 years now. I can say with confidence that he does a great job; I always come back to him with my jeans, even throughout college when I lived 5 hours ago. I mean, I would bring them when I was home visiting my parents, I wouldn't make special trips : ) BUT, I can say this. Today is Christmas Even, and I brought my jeans in and was planning on getting my nails done. I didn't even tell him that I was in a rush and he promised he would have them done in a 1/2 hour. I called them and they told me to just stop by to get my dress alterations done anytime in the afternoon. I showed up at 2:45 on a Friday and the gate was closed. If I could give this place a negative star I would. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY ALTERATIONS OR REPAIRS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I brought my travelpro purse here to have chain links taken out. I asked if they could do this (there were 3 links and I wanted 2 out). He looked it over and said yes.. no problem. I was going to bring it back the next day but he said it would only take 30 minutes. I left my purse (took out the contents) and walked the mall. Simple enough I thought. Came back 35 min later and he hadn't even started on it.. was sitting on the same exact spot I left it. He was working on someone else's stuff. I was going to just leave and he said he's fix it right then. He claimed he had to find a plier and began searching all over the mess (oh and btw this place is a total mess). I sat down.. another customer came in to leave items. 10 min later he said it was done. I come to find that the leather on the side had been cut and the ring that was left on each side was bent and not closed. Totally not done right. I had friends who had this done and it was perfect. I could have done the same job. Had he told me from the beginning he would cut the purse I would have not let him do it. TOTALLY WRONG !!!!!! At first I was going to just pay and leave ... Horrible! After 2.5 weeks & 3 trips my alterations were not done. When I went to pick up, 2 of my shirts were wadded up on a table in back and my pants were hanging with someone else's order. I brought my dress for TD Alterations to get fix. The owner fix one dress then the other dress he could not fix it; He told me that he will fix my zipper and will call me when it done. I came back several to the shop several times and it was not done. Now he could not find my dress and told me that he put it away after 30 days. He did not finish and fix the rest correctly. I came several times he promised that he will get it done, and he did not called me to pick up the dress and now he could not find it. This is a branch new designer dress. At this point I hope he found the rest and give it back to me in what ever shape and form. I would not recommend this shop for anyone. read more

My BF needed a suit dry cleaned for a wedding. We took it, along with 3 other articles of our clothing, in on a Thursday afternoon. At the time we dropped it off they said it would be ready the next day... which was exactly what we needed. We were excited about the quick turn around and the convience of this place being right in the mall! On Friday, when I went to pick it up I was told it would be another 15-20 mins. I gave them 30. When I picked up my order I checked to see if everything was there- and they were in fact MISSING my blazer. The clerk tried telling me that we had only brought in 3 items, instead of the 4 I knew we had. Granted I was annoyed, but the blazer wasn't all that expensive. As I said "forget it" and started to leave- they found my blazer... ON THE FLOOR. By the way their floors are gross and looked like they hadn't been vaccuumed in months. The said they'd have my blazer cleaned and ready for the following day (which I couldn't do becasue of the previously mentioned wedding). So I asked a friend to pick it up for me the following Tuesday. Which was a circus in of itself. I can't speak to their alteration services, but I definately will not be using these folks again for dry cleaning. read more

Brought 2 dresses in for a wedding. The fitting was very quick. I asked to put elastic on a strap on the back of the dress so I could raise it over my head easily to remove the dress. She said she wouldn't put elastic on it and when I got it back all the straps were removed, Now it has altered the look of the dress and I can't wear it. The Bridesmaid dress was taken in, leaving all the bulk of the material between the original seam and the one taken in. Had we not had to leave for the wedding within several days of picking up the dresses I would never had accepted them. I had to pay her cash up front so I couldn't even refuse to pay. She was inexpensive, but I would rather pay more and have the job done right. I had to wear a different dress for the wedding. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would do. This is the worst place to go for any of your alterations/repair needs. Completely unprofessional and dont know what and how to work. They took my winter coat for replacing the zipper and said would be able to do. But they put a different color zipper on it saying, they could not find the same color. They didn't cared to ask/inform about it and I had to go to the store 4 times in extreme cold weather and took 12 days. They had CUT my original zipper instead of removing it from the stitching and ruined my coat. And after all this, they didn't accepted that its their fault and the owners kept on shouting at me and my husband saying what can we do!! They damaged my coat badly. Worst place ever!! read more

I was told that my alteration would be done the next day, and when I went to pick it up it was not. Them seamstress employee got started and then the owner came in and yelled at both of us repeatedly, telling me that I had the day wrong, and his employee that she should have done it a simpler faster way. He pulled the garment away from her and accused me of just wanting my own personal seamstress! After a young woman who looked like a relative convinced him to allow the seamstress to finish the work, she did a very professional job in spite of his abuse. I felt so sorry for her having to work for this tyrant that it made me feel sick. On top that they quoted me one price and then charged me a higher price. If you take a garment to them, just be careful -- you might get the run-around. read more

Terrible experience. The gave me a date and time that my alteration would be ready. I made the trip to pick it up at that time I was given and they hadn't even started it yet. I was frustrated that they didn't even call or warn me. Then when I went back 2 days later, my next available chance, it was botched up so badly that I was very upset. I have taken articles of clothing here 4 times now. Each and every time they gave me a day to pick it up and when I went to do so, the alterations had not been done. This last time I even gave them an extra day. Actually I'm nervous because when I went to pick my item up tonight, they couldn't even find it! I went here for a suit for my husband. When i walked in the owner was arguing with a customer and that should have been my warning. I needed the suit pressed by the weekend that gave them 4 days. They said it would be no problem. My husband went to pick it up and they tried to give my 6'4 husband someone elses suit jacket with his pants. He told the man it was not his and he insisted it was. After my husband insisted again it was not he produced my husbands stuff not cleaned or pressed in a ball on the floor. He swore it would be done by the next morning even though they were not open that day. I showed up the next morning at the agreed time and no one was there! The door was open through the back so I let myself in because if he wasnt there I was getting my husbands suit! We were desperate. He showed up to me sitting in his gated store and looked incredibly shocked. I said um we agreed id pick up this morning. He said oh yes give me an HOUR!!! TWO HOURS LATER. the suit was done. Never again! Oh and when I was in the back of his store he had mountains of dirty clothes piled all over that I assume belonged to people at one point! I have been going to Adam for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I have lived in other states and tried other tailors but I always find myself coming back to Adam whenever I am back in the area. He is just so talented, and gets everything done so quickly. His prices are good too even though I would gladly pay more for the quality of work he does. He did my sister's wedding dress so perfectly and has done a bunch of my dresses, shirts, pants, etc. Just make sure to call before you go in to make sure it's done. read more

I'm 4'5" tall buying pants and clothing is obviously hassle. Most people can run into the store and buy a pair of pants and leave wearing them, very rarely do I get that opportunity. Years ago I found this place TD alterations I can buy a pair of pants in the mall, give it to them, they fix it while I eat lunch and I go back and get it in an hour, I could finally buy something and wear it the same night! I recently bought a winter coat it's also very hard for me to find a winter coat that works, a lot of years I just didn't wear one even though it was cold! . It occurred to me I could bring it to him and see if it worked . I just left and I'm madly in love with my new coat! He fixed the hood, he fixed the length of the arms and even made it a little wider or so I could fit a sweat shirt underneath it! Make sure you're sitting down $14 that's it. This guy not only does NOT know how to tailor/alter clothes, but furthermore does not know how to treat customers. Today, I gave this guy a suit jacket that simply needed the sleeves shortened one inch. Typically this is a job simple enough for any of our mothers to do. The guy promised me he knows what he is doing and that he's been in the business for 20 years. An hour later I return for pick up and not only are the sleeves TOO short but crooked as well. Fine..let's accept that people make mistakes....when have you pointed out a mistake to a tailor only to get INSULTED and be told to never return. This guy ruined my $300 suit jacket and told ME never to return. Forget trying to fix it or even once apologizing for totally messing it up. I can honestly say this guy DOES NOT KNOW how to tailor but is also RUDE and ust a JERK. Please save your items of clothing from the damage that this guy will create and go somewhere else...even if it costs a few dollars more. Trust me. Not worth it. read more
