The seats booked were in the wrong order, as well as she booked tickets without booking seats on a flight, not sure why but you normally book seats when you book the tickets. We had a wonderful time on our trip and the hotels they booked were Spectacular! The The Activities that were booked were great as well and all the people used were very good and we enjoyed them and had a great time. The biggest issues were that the itinerary we were given was lacking information like the name of the and number for the company that was picking us up from the hotel and transferring us to the airport. In this case the driver was 20 minutes late due to being at the wrong hotel and we had no way of contacting them or the company. Also the plan was to have us picked up 2 hours before our flight out of the country and that should have been arranged for at least 4 hours prior, we almost completely missed our flight due to this mistake, we were scrambling and rushing, of course we were relying on our agent for this and it made for a terrible ending to an overall wonderful trip. Needless to say I would not recommend Lorraine or Altour for your trip booking in the future.

My elderly mother asked for help and was answered with snarky responses , she was annoying him asking for help. Richard made insulting remarks to my husband about my elderly mother and insults about elderly people as a group, the level of unprofessionalism was shocking since that's probably majority of his client base. He talked down to my mother, then to my husband when he had to call to try to get answers after my elderly mother was snapped at and not getting answers by Richard. Richard made snarky comments to my husband after he made insult about my mother to my husband, Richard asked my husband, Why he didn't book the Cruise himself, my husband was trying to get answers for my mom that richard wasn't answering. i suggest go elsewhere if you want a positive travel agent experience or book yourself to cruise-line directly. sadly such a bad agent experience creates a permanent mark never use an agent again.

It doesn't go super far, as the train moves fairly slowly, but it's a very immersive experience. If there's one thing I would have changed, it's that the conductor was very talkative; while it was great to have the information, it would have been nice to have a better balance of enjoying the calming ambiance and knowledge sharing.
