You never know how much things are going to cost... seems to be all on their whim and their bizarre classifications. I had two blazers (the exact same length) cleaned and one said 1 3/4 coat! What does that even mean? I went back and had a picture. They said because it's a heavier coat .... They were both the same material and maybe it was a little thicker material, but really you're going to charge me almost double? Don't think a thicker fabric would take more chemicals to clean it, as it's still the same surface area. Perhaps they need to be a little clearer at the drop off about their scam pricing at their whim and their ridiculous definitions. I'm done with them. Not like they're super friendly or quick to wait on you when you pull up either. read more

The service was weird, but fine. My husband took in 6 shirts (most of which got washed and pressed, not dry cleaned) and one of my dresses, and the total bill for cleaning when I picked it up was over $92! I almost gasped out loud. My husband is retired - he'll be washing and pressing his own shirts from now on unless we can find somewhere cheaper. Ridiculous! read more

Possibly the WORST cleaners in the entire state of Georgia . Mended buttons come off in one wear after repair. Clothing stained. Lady there is the rudest human I've ever seen in a service business. Lost all of my shirts. Would not reimburse me. And then threatened to call the police on me for them losing all of my shirts. About 10 nice dress shirts totally gone. read more

This cleaners is the best you could ask for. If you need any care for your favorite clothing just bring it here and I'll make sure to take the proper care for it. The owner is a great person who really enjoys making conversations and ensures that your clothes are taken care of. The price is also a great deal. There are other places that over charge and don't even take care of your clothes; Meanwhile, this place manages to do both. read more

The quality and convenience of this place is good (based on 2 trips), but the prices are CRAZY! I got 5 pieces cleaned and it cost $34 (that's more than double what I was paying in Avondale & at my current dry cleaners at N. Decatur & Clairmont). I guess you're paying for prime Decatur real estate next to Watershed, but it's too rich for my blood. read more

Great dry cleaners with a drive up lane. They do good work and are professional and friendly. My only complaints 1) no credit cards (but they do a great job explaining they only take cash or check right up front and this keeps prices down); 2) like all dry cleaners, they advertise next day service but you have to beg to get ti. For example, Monday night: Them: "When do you want it?" Me: "Tomorrow night?" Them: "How about Thursday?" Me: "Wednesday?" Them: OK, I guess if you really need it in two days. (Why is it so hard to get something done in one day? And if it's so hard, why does everyone advertise it?) I jest a little, they can do it in one day but you have to ask and maybe cajole a little. read more

Wow, what a horrendous dry cleaning experience. Perhaps I caught them on an off day, but the person at the drive thru was neither professional nor friendly. Called first thing in the morning to see what time I needed to have clothes there for same day cleaning and was told 10 a.m. I pulled up at 9:55 a.m., only to be severely chided by the woman at the drive thru for not having the clothes there substantially before 10 a.m. Apparently, "everyone else understands that we need to have the clothes here by 9:45 so that we can tag them for the driver." Let's just say that her tone was a little too condescending for my taste. I would have pulled the clothes and found another dry cleaner, but we were in a bind with an out-of-town wedding this weekend. So, I left them, only to be robbed upon pickup. Was charged a whopping $28.95 for the cleaning of a dress and a suit. Apparently, "the dress was beaded, so that costs $16.60." Wow. Suit was a cool $11.35. I wasn't told about the cash or check only, so with no checkbook onhand I coughed up all of the cash in my wallet ($28). At least she was kind enough to let the 95 cents slide. Do not go here! My sister had her wedding dress cleaned here and it came back with rips and tears everywhere. They attempted to mask the tears by unsuccessfully patching the holes without consulting anyone. Disaster. If I could give zero stars I would read more

I went to pick up a few blouses and after the lady had handed me back my clothes she throws a small container filled with random trinkets and mumbles something. Turns out they had ripped off the buttons/cufflings on a shirt, lost one, and refused to acknowledge this as a problem. Terrible. I dropped off a rug to be cleaned, an expensive cream rug with patterns of darker dye on it. After they cleaned it and I got home and unrolled it, the dye had ran all over the rug, completely ruined! Nobody said a thing to me, just let me pay and gave me my rug all rolled up. When I took it back, she explained it's a "manufacturer defect" and that sometimes a dark dye will run. WTH?? It's a $2000 rug from Anthropologie. I've asked repeatedly for the owner to call me, because clearly the woman working there can't help me, she looks bewildered. He WILL NOT call me, and she WILL NOT give me his number. How do I loathe thee? Let me count the ways. I absolutely believe in karma and thus would not be this dramatic if I were not still fuming about the last time I felt absolutely ripped off here. The establishment also seems to be female-owned, which I LOVE, but my experience must be shared. Being new Decatur residents last year, we felt a deep-seated need to support local businesses--plus it seemed quite close and convenient--and thus left our beloved cleaners out on L'ville Highway. The first drop-off experience was nice enough, but when we came to pick up I was literally shocked at what our bill had come to--and it's just me and my husband, so we'd not dropped off all that much. I took a deep yogic breath, let it go, decided to be gracious and not "pitch a fit." A couple of months later I realized that I desperately needed a number of new pants hemmed, and noticed that they offered this service. Again, with the appeal of "convenience," I stopped by one afternoon only to be told that this woman on duty didn't handle the alterations and I'd have to come back the next morning when the owner was there. I begrudgingly came back the next morning and was led to the very back of the store to a tiny, yucky bathroom and was told to change there and come out when I was dressed. Mind you, I had several, several pair of pants to have hemmed that day, so this process was lengthy and sticky because of the humidity of the back of the operation. Since the owner was pinning me up [presumably then sending off my pants to an outsourced alterations location] and she was minding the store, this process took even longer because she kept being interrupted by other customers dropping off dry cleaning. I finally left, picked them up later in the week, and was again SHOCKED AND DISMAYED by an almost $500 bill. I am not kidding. I asked to go over the itemized list of what I'd dropped off, and the woman refused to provide it. She did provide a pricing list, where I realized that hemming--which is usually $8-12 everywhere I've EVER gone--was anywhere from $14-26 PER PAIR, depending on the lining, the fabric, etc. I was furious and vowed not to go back. HOWEVER--clearly I'd not learned my lesson just yet and the gods were hell-bent on teaching me--just a few months ago I went back out of desperation and the siren song of "convenience" and "supporting local business" and "believing the best in people" again had me at the steps [er, drive-up] of Your Cleaners. I dropped off 2-3 blouses and a pair of pants, and needed them the next day. They were, indeed, waiting for me when I came to pick them up the next day, but I realized when I got in the car that 3 or 4 of the enamel buttons on one blouse and 2 on the other very similar top were completely missing. This has not happened ONCE in the several times I took them to our other cleaners. I went back in and asked the woman on duty about this, and she basically harangued me for even INSINUATING that I was asking for a refund or blaming them for this. She was incredibly rude, edgy and condescending and I hadn't even asked for any remuneration. I asked if they typically wrapped buttons, sequins, etc. in tissue paper or took any precautions for vulnerable fabrics or materials, and not only would she not comment, she turned it around on me for not thinking about it before I brought in my clothes. I am at this point, extremely red in the face, completely out of my Zen mode, and vow to make my experience known to the community. So there you have it. I can NOT find a decent dry cleaners in this down. I decided to give these folks a whirl. I wish I hadn't. I took a rain coat in to be cleaned and some buttons to be tightened. When I got it back one button was barely hanging on, the coat was still filthy and I paid a ton to have this done. Of course, when I picked it up I was in shock from the price and didn't check the coat. I called to let them know and they told me to bring it back. I'll take it back and see how that goes, but as of now my first impression is not a good one. read more

Bad deal. This Cleaners has no phone service whatsoever. That is, there is a phone in the store but it does not receive incoming phone calls. So there is no way to contact them about any clothes you left with them or problems you had with their service. Very frustrating because several times I tried to call them about clothes I had dropped off for cleaning and two problems I had with casual pants that they had pressed and created double or over lapping crease lines. On top of it, the cleaning service is only somewhat better than average. My wife and I are therefore going to another cleaning service in decatur instead. read more

WE really love our experience at Your Cleaners. They are always friendly, see me coming and have the clothes ready to put in the trunk, and our clothes have always been ready on time. It is very convenient to our home. I do wish they took credit cards but admire that they tell you up front and try to keep prices down. They even helped my husband jump start his truck when it died while picking up the cleaning. read more

I took my laundry there for four years. They recently ruined a nice pair of khaki pants and offered me less than half what the pants cost in free dry-cleaning. Needless to say, I won't be going back and have found a new dry-cleaner. read more
