This place is a little bit out of the way and quite a desolate area. They have a lot on the menu including milkshakes, smoothies, all day breakfast, paninis, pasta, salads, jacket potatoes as well as baguettes. It is a little ironic, however, that with all this on the menu when you walk in you'd be forgiven for thinking it was a café unit which has not been filled yet.
The walls are white and the café looks completely empty. Even the glass counter has next to no food inside and I don't remember seeing more than 3 types of cold drink in the fridge. For some strange reason the only bit of décor is a print of Al Pacino by the menu.
I couldn't really eat the tuna mayo and salad baguette I ordered. There was hardly any filling and the tuna was not mixed with mayo but dry and then the mayo was added in lashings spilling onto the outside of the baguette. For £2 I was fairly unimpressed with the baguette. The outside seating area puzzled me as there's nothing but concrete and a busy road as surroundings. Maybe the Reggae Reggae melt would have been better? But I'm not going to risk it. read more
