A friend suggested One Flight Up, and I had birthday money, so we went to buy him an early Christmas present. Silly me, the name of the store always seemed to suggest that there would be steps. It's flat in and completely wheelchair accessible. And the glass is mesmerizing. Oh wow, what a gloriously sparkling store that makes me want to spend all my money even though I don't smoke. Meg, the woman running the store when we were there, is brilliant. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, knows when to step back, chatty... just EVERYTHING you want in a host. Personally, I could have just sat there and talked to her for ages about life, but we had dinner plans. My boyfriend found the perfect Grav bong almost immediately. He tells me its better than the Nev piece, which makes me happy. Apparently he is now a "brand whore" when it comes to Grav. He owns several different pieces from them. He also bought a titanium nail to replace the quartz nail that he didn't like because the old glass nail dissipates the heat too quickly. The new nail fits his new bong with a middle piece he already owned. He already has plans to return and purchase some other pieces he spied during our visit, and I think that says it all.
