Very helpful the next day to accommodate my needs and time schedule to get the plate and things from the vehicle. Randy even physically helped unload items and load in another vehicle. Very pleasant to talk to, professional and respectful. He was also accommodating with my insurance company. Highly recommend! Dory

So I finally flipped after he yelled at me multiple times he was so unprofessional. Thankfully it's out of there...don't give this guy your business, wait for another company it'll be worth it in the end.

When I called them to make an appointment, although the price increased, they still charged me the original quoted price. They didn't have to do it but they did and I'm truly grateful. I was in and out, back on the road in what seemed like minutes with new tires. To add, their prices bear out everyone else I called. It's the kindness of these guys that will bring me back.

Brought 2 of our vehicles here to have the tires swapped. A few minutes after arriving they told us…read morethey couldn't swap them because they were all wheel drive vehicles and tires were different sizes (going from an acadia to explorer). My husband and I have both worked in the auto industry do we already the tire sizes were able to be swapped, and for that matter both our vehicles are front wheel drive! My husband asked to see the vehicles while they were in the air (to double check), and sure enough FWD. He asked the girl who checked us in if she could just let tech know to double check before they give customers wrong info. She pulled the tech aside and told us tell him yourself, so my husband did. Tech had nothing to say except "ok" and gave him a dirty look. There was no "hey we were wrong we apologize"... just nothing. When cars were done my husband tried to tell the tech have a good day and he walked away and didnt even acknowledge him. We came here because ive been a customer in the past and never had an issue. 1. Not having the knowledge to know the difference between AWD and FWD - not good if youre in the vehicle repair business. 2. Not offering any kind of apology when it was YOUR mistake, just bad manners. 3. Walking away and not acknowledging a customer who was polite but pointed out your mistake and told you that you were wrong - unprofessional. We wont be back.

This place is a joke. My son's car needed to be towed from Canfield to their garage in Austintown…read moreafter an accident and the police called Jeswald. A driver arrived on the scene quickly with a regular & lowest priced (not so much) truck (no flatbed, heavy duty or additional equipment needed) to tow the Nissan Altima to their facility (maybe between 5-10 miles at the most). It was not a complicated job...used a winch to pull the car up to the truck, lifted the front wheels up and away he went while my son was being treated at the scene by EMS. Got a bill today with a towing fee of $760!! Also added on was a "miscellaneous facility fee" of $250 plus $40/day storage. $750 to tow a car that short of a distance should be criminal. Avoid these scam artists at all costs. Response to company response: Who is spreading hate? Have you read the room here? 99.9% of reviews here seem to have the same opinion. I'm simply stating facts that your company is predatory...especially in your claim that my son signed off on your excessive, and according to Ohio Rule 4901:2-24-03 governing towing fees, storage fees and "other fees" potentially illegal. But the lawyers and folks at PUCO will figure that out. Your driver was talking to a young man who was JUST in an accident for the first time (speed was not a factor btw according to the deputy and witness accounts), but the airbags did deploy and left him with a bloody nose and a concussion, so maybe talking to someone who is visibly distraught, bleeding out of the nose and most likely concussed probably isn't a good business practice. The accident occurred due to an ongoing mechanical issue/failure that the dealership has been unable to diagnose for months now, not "negligence" as you incorrectly stated in your response, but keep spreading more BS. There was no citation for speed. As far as your claim regarding how we planned to handle this claim, again you're 100% wrong. At no time did anybody communicate "fictitious information" to anyone, or state that we would be filing a claim through insurance. The cost in doing so outweighed the benefit, so paying the homeowner out of pocket for the damage to the mailbox, the REASONABLE towing fee and scrapping the 10 year old car was and is our intention. Yeah it took some time for my son to reach out about things being that he lives in Cortland and has been dealing with a concussion for the last 10 days and has been unable to drive, so sorrrryyyyyyy. Neither my comments here or Yelp were inaccurate despite your pathetic attempt to extort a vulnerable young man who was just injured in an accident. It's unbelievable not just to me, but the general public, that you're coming here to try to justify and defend the practice of charging almost $800 PLUS another $600+ for a simple tow under 10 miles. And yes, it was simple as the car was still halfway in the street and didn't require any additional measures to remove it from the scene. People will make up their own minds on who to call should they ever require towing services. For almost $1500, and you stomping your feet like a child, making false accusations, and doubling down on your insistence that the amount billed isn't excessive or predatory, I'm pretty sure it won't be you. We'll be in touch.

Minich Towing & Recovery -- YOU STOLE MY CAR (100 DAYS AND COUNTING)…read more Minich Towing has had my 2021 Volkswagen Jetta (VIN: 3VWC57BU8MM006071) for 100 days and refuses to return it. This is theft -- plain and simple. My car was taken from private property on June 22, 2025 without my consent, without any lawful property-owner request, and without any valid public-safety justification. A public officer cannot lawfully order a tow unless the owner or property owner authorizes it, or the vehicle is on public property, involved in an accident, creating an immediate hazard, or has been abandoned in accordance with Pennsylvania abandoned-vehicle procedures. None of those conditions applied. I have photos, timestamps, and documentation proving ownership and the circumstances of the tow. Minich is now on notice: I will hold you fully responsible. I am preparing to file civil claims, IRS Form 1099-A notices, and criminal complaints for unlawful acquisition and conversion of private property, and I will involve federal and state investigators -- including the FBI and the Pennsylvania Attorney General -- if this is not resolved immediately. I am assessing $5,000 per day in claimed damages beginning June 22, 2025; after 100 days, that totals $500,000 in pending claims. I have proof. This is not a threat -- it is a statement of fact and intent. Return my vehicle now. Why this is illegal: A tow under these facts is an unlawful tow and an improper conversion of property when done without proper authorization or process. Colluding with public officers to seize private property and then demanding exorbitant storage fees is unacceptable and may constitute conspiracy and theft. Relevant authority (on seizure, due process, and state action -- federal precedent): Fuentes v. Shevin, 407 U.S. 67 (1972) -- property may not be taken without due process; seizure requires appropriate process. Calero-Toledo v. Pearson Yacht Leasing Co., 416 U.S. 663 (1974) -- civil forfeiture and seizure doctrines require statutory safeguards and due process. Soldal v. Cook County, 506 U.S. 56 (1992) -- private actor seizures done with state involvement can constitute state action subject to constitutional scrutiny. United States v. James Daniel Good Real Property, 510 U.S. 43 (1993) -- notice and opportunity to be heard are required before significant deprivations of property. Monell v. Department of Social Services, 436 U.S. 658 (1978) -- municipalities and public agencies can be held liable when their policies or customs cause constitutional violations. Bottom line: You took my car. I have proof. You do not have lawful grounds. Return it immediately or face full legal, administrative, and criminal consequences. This is an easy lawsuit for unlawful tow, conversion, and collusion with public officers. I am done playing games. -- Darian Taylor Jr. Private Living Man -- Owner of VIN 3VWC57BU8MM006071 34 Prospect Ave, Franklin, PA
