The staff is going to be responsible for Dr Youngerman and LI ENT losing patients. They are rude and very unprofessional. The wait time is ridiculous which means they are overbooking. I run a dental practice and because I book appts appropriately the wait, if any, is never more than 10 or 12 minutes. They might be jamming people in on the doctors orders but either way it's not right, my time is just as valuable as his. I went in for a simple outer ear infection. The drops he gave me were very costly, so I called to ask for something different. I did not get a call back and had to call 2 more times before I could get a new Rx. Definitely not going back. Ok...I'm blown away. Fresh out of sinus surgery, Dr. Youngerman and his staff have wrapped their arms around me and showed love in a business that has become extremely impersonal. His bedside manner is amazing; he's direct but very accommodating and wants you to understand everything about your ailments. At the end of the day, I haven't ever felt such comfort with a medical professional. and I would recommend Dr. Youngerman to everyone. read more

Absolutely amazing is the best way to sum my experiences up with Dr. Youngerman. He does have a dry personality but. He is very patient, caring and for the first time in 12 years I can actually breathe through my nose without any issues. He staff where uber friendly and respectful of all the patients privacy. So, yes it does take time to get an appointment. But it was well worth it. read more

The wait was insane. Another woman in the waiting room complained to the receptionist about the wait time and the receptionist gave her an attitude. Waited 45 mins. in the waiting room and another 15 when we got brought into the exam room. My mother and I got up and left. Don't waste your time going here. This doctor was a recommendation made to my husband who is also a physician. I arrived at 2:30 for my 2:40 appointment. At 4:15 I was no closer to being seen than I was before I made the appointment. When I inquired I was told by staff that he takes his time with every patient and that would include me too when it was finally my turn. Specialist or not - this office INTENTIONALLY overlooks the schedule and it's up to the patient to simply deal with it. My husband is a specialist, too and at least his assistants will have an encounter and take history/vitals while patients wait. I was told sometimes (if there are emergencies that come in unanticipated) that the wait can be as Lon as 5 hours. I walked out. Not even a whiff of "I'm so sorry" from the staff or an effort to nudge the doc through as they saw I was losing tolerance. Sorry, but he ain't the only game in town!! Unreasonable to assume your patients have all the time in the world to sit in your waiting room. read more

Was going to try to remain neutral on this one but I just can't .... if you want to get treated like a person and a human this isn't the place for you .... Dr Youngerman knows his stuff (he did a great sinus surgery on me) however he doesn't interact with you ... he walks in almost robotic and is clearly there to get money. He will not talk to you and try to find a way to make your life will be better.. some of his staff are very nice however some are complete disrespectful disasters who are completely full of themselves and think they're the best in the universe. Those staff members will be completely disrespectful to you and not care about your response. His establishment also has an allergist there .... DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT in any way even attempt to use her ... the receptionist nurse took time to trash talk her while treating me like garbage ... then had the audacity to give me a hard time saying "I never have had anyone complain about me".... well I'm glad I'm the first cause she shouldn't be in the business. The allergist is nice however showed up almost 35 min late like it was nothing ... didn't return phone calls for days and seemed to know nothing. read more

Allergy Department Office Staff from Hell. If you like being abused, insulted, degraded, embarrassed, and much much more, this is the place to go. Dr. Pauline Fani is wonderful and if it wasn't for her I would have left this practice a long time ago. However, the office staff must have been trained in the school of demons. They believe that they have the right to insult, belittle and bully the doctor's patients. After two prior visits from hell, I finally ended participating in a shouting match in which I had to yelled at the office staff to stop scolding me and that I was not listening to them. I told them that I don't have to listen to them and to leave me alone. During this visit (one of several visits where I have been reprimanded and abused), I think I broke a rule by asking Dr. Fani fill out papers for my son's camp. But it seems that the office women (Debra or Debbie, who then called the office manager for support) believed that they have the right to gang up and yell at the patient instead of speaking to the doctor about office protocol. I believe if a doctor agrees to do something it is not up to the patient to correct the doctor and to know intuitively the office rules. They yelled at me that I needed to pay for the already filled out camp papers. I told them to stop yelling at me and I'll pay for the papers (which I did). They continued to yell, shouting that it isn't the point that I paid rather I should have made a separate appointment with the doctor to have her fill out the papers. The same papers that were filled out and held in my hands. At this point, I yelled back at them to charge me for the office visit and to stop yelling at me. They continued to berate me (with now a waiting room filled with silent astonished onlookers) about the office having rules etc. At that point, I started screaming that they have no right to speak to me or any other patient in this way. I have been a patient with Dr. Youngerman for over 33 years and I am sure that if he was aware of their behavior he would have been mortified. Not only has Dr. Fani lost our business, Dr. Youngerman personally has lost my family's (5 family members) ENT, allergy and audiological business. read more

Great Dr. Explained everything to me. Comes across as competent and confident, which I found reassuring...then straight to business. I had a minor procedure done and was in and out of the examination room in ten minutes.. The waiting room is another story though. Scheduled appointment times mean nothing there. I was happy enough with the results to deal with the waiting room again. read more

OMG Not one person looked up form the desk and stopped discussing patient x at the open window. Unprofessional, unwelcoming, a grunt of "sign in" then the two women at the counter got into it about whether one or the other would call back a "bad patient" I cant believe the Doctors or owners of this place haven't set up a camera or voice recording of their staff bc the Dr was nice the office wasn't new, nor were the technology available in the rooms, as well as there wasn't anyone wiping down the chairs and I saw a long glass tube with liquid in it. The Drs place the some kind of scope in the body then in the tube. I am not so sure this is clean way to use this on patients. Sadly there wasn't one person there that wanted to be there "working". Magazines were ripped and strewn around the corner tables, bathroom had toilet paper on seat, on floor and paper towels were just thrown on the floor. Someone needs to take a look and listen that is in this place or we the public can be hurt. read more

If you have an appointment tomorrow, you should come and camp outside the office so you can been seen at your scheduled appointment time. Doctor is good but office is mismanaged and appointments are never on time. The rude middle aged receptionist doesn't help. Oh, and you'll wait days for a call back. read more

Im going to assume by the 2016 reviews that they did a 180 because I went to the office today and I waited no longer then 20 minutes (I had to fill out paperwork) and the doctor and staff were very nice! Worst office ever. Was told by office staff Dr. Youngerman books every 10 minutes!. No Dr can possibly interview you, examine you and provide follow up instructions in 10 minutes. Which leads me to believe the Dr. doesn't think your time is valuable only his. With Doctors on every corner here this practice is totally unacceptable. I will be looking for a Doctor who is worthy of my time and copay! read more
