I run a dental practice and because I book appts appropriately the wait, if any, is never more than 10 or 12 minutes. They might be jamming people in on the doctors orders but either way it's not right, my time is just as valuable as his. I went in for a simple outer ear infection. The drops he gave me were very costly, so I called to ask for something different. I did not get a call back and had to call 2 more times before I could get a new Rx. Definitely not going back. BTW I am not from San Francisco as it shows I am from Plainview.

She told me the doctor was behind and that there was someone else in the room and one more person in front of us. I was told that sometimes emergencies happen but I was perplexed as to what emergency could have happened that early in the morning where there isn't any surgery happening. However, I sat back down and decided to wait. Then at 10 a.m. another patient was called in and so I asked her when her appointment was originally for, as I had found out we were seeing the same doctor, and when she told me she was originally slated for 9 am. and it was not 1 hour later it broke the "camel's back" for me. So now I was looking at almost another 20-30 minutes for this person's visit and then another hour for me and my daughter. What a terrible disrespect for people's time. I had made an appointment for 11:30 a.m. figuring there might be some wait and I wanted to give myself wiggle room but this was outrageous. I actually told them I was going to write this review. Mind you this was my first time going there. I was offered to reschedule but two things crossed my mind, I already wasted an hour there waiting AND what is to say this wouldn't happen again. If I was late or didn't show up I would be charged. Who would compensate me for my time lost? I am sure there are others who love the practice or might not have been upset waiting 60-90 minutes past their appointment but I value my time. As I said I understand there might be wait times but I felt this office dropped the ball and was in total disregard for my time.

My mother-in-law is pretty much the queen of northern Wantagh/Levittown and knows the best when she sees it... so I, of course, asked her for the recommendation. When I arrived at 7:25, I was the first patient and was taken in right away. The optometry assistant (I work in healthcare and have no clue if that's an actual title- is that what they're called? I'm sorry if I'm completely butchering the entire profession) was SO nice and knowledgeable and quick! You should have seen him typing on his iPad. Fast Fingers McGee. I was then taken to another waiting room and then a different room after that. My only gripe- expect to wait a little bit for the doctor. I was in and out in one hour but, again, I was the first patient. I imagine this place gets busy but as long as I always get an early appointment I think I'll be fine. When I finally met Dr Greenberg, it was like seeing an old friend. I overheard him talking to a different patient and he was asking how her family was. You could tell he truly loves what he does and takes an interest in his patients. As a nurse I know how rare this is nowadays. Dr. Greenberg prescribed me a special type of eye drop and my stye cleared up in two days. This place is really great. The staff treats you like family. It's so easy to get an appointment. And it's literally so clean you could eat off their floors. Color me impressed because ModernEyes did not disappoint!
