Please keep in mind that the practice has several doctors. This review is specifically for Dr. Charlene Grace- Foster. I recently changed PCP because I didn't feel as though my past practitioner's office staff did a good job with getting test results etc back to me in a timely fashion. After a frustrating search, I think I've landed my dream team. For me, it's super important that reception receives me well and that process is seamless because it sets the tone for the visit. My first visit was with the Rockville Center location. The staff was incredibly warm and check in was easeful. Wait time was less than 20 mins. The intake forms were very through even asking about my sleep patterns and mental health. I appreciate a good screening as long as they are actually going to use the information to serve me well. I was super impressed that before I even saw the Dr that they ran an EKG and outside of vitals was having conversations with me about bone density test and scheduling my first colonoscopy since I'm now middle-aged( gasp). Dr. Foster introduced herself and asked me what brought me in. It took a while for me to feel relaxed in her presence. We had conversations about everything that was concerning for me, I asked for what I needed and was satisfied with the quality of the experience but my 2nd visit was the game-changer. Less than two weeks later, I had to revisit as I got ill. For this visit I saw her in Valley Stream which is a much smaller location. Before we even addressed my labs and the results of my tests, she checked in with me. She actually paused to put the person ahead of the procedure and that really made me feel seen. We were able to connect as women, mothers and that reminded me of why representation in health care matters so much for me as a black, Caribbean woman. I walked away feeling really connected and confident that I was in good hands. Delivery of results and RX has been great and I look forward to a longstanding relationship with my Dr and the practice.

After more than 10 years with Todd helpers practice, I'm 82 disabled. I can't get to the office the…read moreoffice they gave me a real hard time the manager I lost it said s word , so the office manager I just got in touch with Dr. Todd helper I haven't seen him in 10 years though and they call me back this morning so you'll have to find another doctor. He said oh he doesn't want to see me anymore and they wouldn't answer that question. I don't know why, but he takes the office staff word every time of them the patient the office staff is more important than the patient. It seems so I have to find another doctor. It's like elder abuse in my case.

Kimmy in billing is very detailed oriented and very efficient in being sure the insurance companies are properly paid and in some instances going the extra mile to call me to advise of provider issues before I'd make an unnecessary trip to your office giving me time to correct whatever I need to. Recently you added a PA to your staff. Her name is Christine Greco. I applaud you select tionna of adding her to your staff. She is very witty and smart. She brings a fresh new vibe to your office. Since she's more recently out of medical school I feel her knowledge is of great value to your group. Her knowledge of medications and there effects on a person are phenomenal. A even greater value and understanding I have with her as apposed to other doctors at your office is, she like me has problems with b disk herniation as I do. This knowledge and experience gives her a better understanding of my injuries and complaints she physically experiences them whereas some of your other physicians as they do not/have not had to live their life in constant pain and have no true understanding when I say I need you to increase the dosage or the amount of tablets I take daily. I feel they spend more time worried about a medical license audit or my dosages being what they THINK they should be but do not live in my body every day. They have no physical pain to base this decision on just what my height and weight say I should take. They have a real difficulty understanding my body needs higher dosages than they feel comfortable writing a prescription for. I've by personal preferences have chosen not to take certain medications because 9f the dude affects. First instance I have in the past taken garvapantan/norontin in the past. I stopped taking it because a side effect it causes is incontinence so instead of my doctor saying ok I understand why your refusing to take this medicine so let me offset it and increase your oxycodone daily amount or dosage level I get no true help and spend most if my days in pain crippling more than necessary if my doctor would simply understand based on my VARIOUS MRI's which obviously indicate a medical condition relating to disc bulges and herniation I'm told I can't raise it. Your my doctor. If what your giving me is not working isn't it your responsibility to follow medically what is necessary to make my life less painful and more productive? I'd I've already repeatedly advised my doctor I refuse to have surgery on my spine b Eva use it requires sedation and I had a traumatic experience relating to sedation/medically induced coma gor 6 weeks because after being placed in one of lost my identity. I have memory lose and after 3 years I was finally able to google the side effects of being in a sedation of a medically induced coma and it stated "permanent personality changes and the inability to get a grip". I refuse to be pit in the position again so it's life long pain management for me. No I not having spine surgery. Dr. Greco understands my position and is willing to work with me as I have stated. She's thorough she doesn't rush me making me feel like just another patient. She doesn't shuffle me in and shuffle me out. She in my opinion don't rates true medical skills I love her she's fabulous and you are blessed to have such a doctor as a part of your practice. Do not waste your time. Find a primary associated with NYU or one of the better hospitals. Dr. Kaur is nice and respectful. I understand the people that answer the phones have a lot to…read morejuggle, but most of the time when I call they are extremely rude to me even though I am respectful. I called 3 times on different dates to make sure one of my reports was faxed over to a specialist I was seeing, and they even confirmed with me that it was. When I got to the specialist, it wasn't there. Another time, I was trying to ask which doctor I was seeing and ask why it was not my regular doctor. Before I even finished speaking, I was cut off. The day of my appointment, I get a call saying the doctor they scheduled me for does not do the procedure I was scheduled for. I had made this appointment a month earlier and called the day before, yet nothing was said until 6 hours before the appointment. So now I have to wait for another appointment a month later or have to use a take off to park in order to be seen 2 weeks later on a weekday. Very frustrating that this happened. Parking: There's some free street parking around the block here.
