They cancelled my trip and couldn't even be bothered to tell me. If I hadn't noticed that it had disappeared from the MAS portal, I wouldn't have even known my trip was cancelled. The trip was to Urgent Care, so now I have to wait another day for a different company that understands that when they do MEDICAL transportation, their clients might actually be SICK. read more

They aren't reliable what so ever. I help take care of a friend who has cancer, we make sure to get her rides set up well in advance (especially if im not able to take her or be on back up) This also includes the hospital staff helping to make sure these are scheduled as well. On multiple occasions they have cancelled her ride either the night before or the day of. They do NOT call when they cancel but will claim they do. They've been disgustingly rude to her every time they've canceled. Medicab is supposed be a service that helps patients and eases their stress. Instead this specific company makes it harder on them. Im not sure if you know what goes into cancer treatment and how important these appointments are but maybe you guys should become acquainted with how important your clients appointments are. If you cant provide the sole service your buisness runs on then maybe its time to reconsider your family owned buisness. This isnt the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time. Every time she is told "we called you" we pull her phone records as proof you didnt so we can send it to her insurance company. Do better or choose a different buisness path. They never showed up to give me a ride to my Doctors appointment. When I called to see if they were coming, the woman who answered told me "oh we are sorry, we ran out of cars" . What!? They didn't even give me a courtesy call. read more

They showed up at 11:08a.m. to pick me up for my 11:15 a.m. appt. Then when I call to get picked up from the appt. first i got their emergency line. Then i get "Sally" to answer the phone she tells me that they are having an issue picking up and dropping off people so I ask sarcastically so I'm stranded and she says looks like it no one ever showed to pick me up I had to call for another ride home these people are unprofessional and I will never use the service again read more

Horrible, horrible company! I signed up for Yelp just to be able to write this review! I had an urgent medical emergency that my doctor's office wanted to see me that same day so they made me an appointment by squeezing me in to their schedule. Unfortunately, when I called Medicaid to get a ride, Young Transportation was the ONLY option for getting a ride on that day. Now I know why, it is because I believe nobody else wants to use them and they are the absolute worst choice! After I called Young to confirm my ride, their dispatcher named Sally said yes that I was definitely on their schedule and what time they would be picking me up. But later on, after waiting for 30 minutes, they never even showed. So after 30 minutes past my pick up time, I called and was told they had to cancel. No courtesy call, no explanation and no apologies! Sally said it was Medicaid's job to call me to let me know they had cancelled. But when I called Medicaid to report the incident with Young, they informed me that they don't make those types of calls to inform riders of a cancellation and that Young Transportation never cancelled my ride either and it was still listed on my account. So Sally lied about everything and I had to miss my important appointment! Please take this as a warning and do NOT ever try using them or give them the chance to have the business / $$. Very irresponsible, uncaring and sketchy company! At least I don't think they will be open much longer with these kinds of practices anyways! read more

Very nice drivers. Felt safe. They had to drive through snow storms and I always arrived on time. I highly recommend them.

I believe this company is scamming Medicaid. There were five separate times that Young Transportation would pick up a ride that was input into the Medical Transport system and then they would not show up to give the ride. Essentially just claiming the rides through MAS (medical answering service for medicaid transport services) and then leaving the youth stranded. Only one time did Young Transportation cancel the ride after picking it up - which allows MAS to attempt to reschedule it. The other times Young Transportation claimed the ride, did not cancel and never showed up. Allowing them to get paid by NYS Medicaid without performing the service. Definitely ruined many mornings leaving my child without a ride and me scrambling as a parent to get her where she needed to go. Truly hope they get investigated by NYS. read more

I try to use Young Transportation for my medical appointments. I needed to get to a doctor appointment then from there to the hospital for xrays and then back home. Each time I called to let them know I was ready my driver was there with 5 minutes. The car was clean and the driver was great we chatted during each leg of my ride. When I applied, this company was listed as being in Dansville, NY. I received a call from a woman who didn't give me her name and it slipped my mind to ask. She asked questions and wanted me to fill out an application. The following week which was the week of July 29th 2025, I contacted her via text message (the woman stated that calls or texts were fine), seeking an update and offering my evidence related to my wrongful termination at a previous job. She responded by asking for my name, which I provided, but I have not heard back since. This lack of follow-up was unprofessional. Given my years of experience, and I had already moved forward with the application process, she could have at least informed me if they were considering other candidates. The way we treat others reflects greatly on us. Also, be cautious about using someone as a reference if you think they might have feelings for you. If they don't get what they want, it could lead to negative consequences. I'm not sure if their decision was based on that or if they are concealing something, and are worried I would end up being a whistleblower. I said that beause I told her I documented incidents from my last job that were helpful when I sought help from an organization. It's important to research the company and learn about the experiences of former employees before applying. This way, if you decide to proceed, you'll know what to be aware of. I now read people get a ride to their appointment but no ride back home with that being said I had a 12:15 ( confirmed this at 9 am this morning). Waited till 12:30 to ask where the taxi was for my pick up was told ( by same said operon) this am( that there is NO paper work for a pick up! young is the best medical transportation service i ever had. 1. they are always on time 2. they stay until ur appointments is over or they will make sure ur ride is there when you done. 3. if they ever run out of drivers, they always provide you with a way home. (i never, never, never had to wait not even 30 min to go home if they were in a jam. they always have "back up services" 4. they handle my walker with care. they never broke it.
