As I was completing it they came into the waiting area to grab my 10 year old for a panoramic. I said it wasn't necessary because the dentist has one, same exact office. Oh no, that is different. We need to see his teeth on this type of X-ray. Hmm. After paperwork, I walk into the room with my son. I felt like I was with two salesmen instead of a health care professional. He needs first phase, expanders . We are going to set you up in the front office to discuss. She wanted me to sign a contract. I explained I needed to speak to my husband before signing any contract. Of course, there is a discount if you sign then. I asked for a copy of the X-ray, just a photocopy of the front. The drs never even showed me the panoramic X-ray. She wanted $30 for the photocopy. Ok- well I needed it to show my husband. She gave finally gave me a copy. Came home to find a charge on my credit card from them last month for the first payment of ortho care. Last month- wth? I felt so sick and I spent less than 10 minutes with these orthodontists. Not sure why they billed me last month. I'm sure they will charge me almost $300 for this visit. Crazy!
