I want to share my unfortunate experience with Caleb from All Season Landscape Management…read more After agreeing to their written contract to weed and edge all the garden beds at my house, they came last week and did most of the work on Tuesday and Wednesday. They said they would be back on Friday to finish the work. I informed them that I was going out of town the next day (Thursday) and asked if they wanted me to pay for most of the work already completed. I was told they would collect after I got back. When I walked around the house, I realized they had mowed down an entire garden of hellebore (4 of which were just planted, hadn't taken full root yet, and cost me $173.00) and several patches of Lily of the Valley. When I texted to complain, I was first told that they would grow back next year. I was shocked by his dismissiveness. I was then told they would give me 150 off and guarantee they would grow back next year. I said I was not comfortable with that and that I wanted to have a live conversation when I got back in town either Sunday or Monday. Caleb continued to text me on Thursday as I was driving. I told him we could discuss it when I got back from the weekend- that I did not want to discuss it while I was driving or away on a family matter. He said he wanted it settled before coming back to finish the work on Friday. I told him I understood and he could wait to finish the job after we came to a resolution. He then proceeded to text that: 1. He wasn't doing the work for free 2. I made his guys do 2 of the garden beds that were not included (even though ALL BEDS was written in the contract) 3. I got a really good price and discount with the 150.00, that he knows what's fair, and I should be happy 4. "If he had to rearrange his schedule and push back jobs just to discuss this accident, he will be charging me for his time" 5. If I didn't agree to his terms, he was stopping the work and I needed to pay him for the work done 6. He needed my answer by the end of the day At first I was willing to chalk it up to a stressful situation; as I clearly stated throughout, I did not respond until I got back on Sunday. I did not hear from him on Sunday or Monday, and called him again. He proceeded to yell at me that I was unreasonable; that he had a business to run, that he wasn't going to respond just because I was ready to talk, I should just accept his terms, and would not even hear my proposal. He then refused to finish the job, told me I wouldn't find anyone else to do it, and would be coming by to collect the money owed. Thankfully, he sent his partner Josh who was very apologetic, remorseful and respectful. Caleb left me with huge tree limbs in my front yard, piles of debris scattered throughout, as well as a 7 ft long mound of debris left in my driveway. I understand accidents happen; I am sure it was not done intentionally, yet Caleb's callous approach to resolution was uncalled for, unacceptable, and horrible business practices . I normally don't write things like this out of sensitivity to the potential impact to someone's livelihood. However, this was intentionally dismissive and on the verge of bullying. I do not want what happened to me to happen to others.

OMG they are beyond terrible! Not an ounce of quality, the employees are quick and dirty with a get the hell out of dodge mentality. All of the lawns are covered in mounds of clippings, they go so fast on the riding mowers that half the grass is missed and left uncut. They do not have push mowers so the backyards are "mowed" with a weedwhacker! They blow grass clippings into gardens that homeowners have mulched and landscaped themselves, they weed whack and shoot the clippings onto homeowners vehicles parked in driveways, garden beds are left like trash, no mulch, no shrub trimming. Totally Unbelievable for a company that has been around 40+ years. A 12 year old neighborhood kid could do a better job for $10 bucks a yard vs. the $80,000 contract that Josh was awarded.. Sorry guys, but you SUCK!!
