So much fun! Came here for my nephews birthday party and my daughter and myself included had a blast. They had a table w/ metallic pens that you use for your nails. They had face painting w/ colored pencils that they dipped in water. The kids got to choose from 5 different art projects that you can paint and had these awesome crayon pens that the kids drew on a glass table. The staff was friendly and were amazing with our rambunctious group of kids. They helped our kiddos create the most coolest art projects and were so patient and helpful. I am not going to lie, but some of us adults painted our own nails and got our faces painted too . It such a cute store and accommodated our party and walk-ins of other small groups as well. All guest of the party received 20% off any art supply we wanted to purchase and the staff are the ones that clean up as well, including the food trays and plates that were used. The kids had a blast and my daughter kept saying that she wants to come back. Luckily they have other locations that are a bit closer. This is such a awesome store and what a great and unique way to have a birthday party set up here!!

Staff was very rude and curt. Did not engage the children at all. This used to be something our kids looked forward to and enjoyed.

Art and People Glass is essentially a water pipe store that also sells jewelry, BUT it is NOT your typical head shop. The store was light, bright and clean. The sales people were clear-eyed, smart and knowledgeable. A guy named Sam patiently walked me through their inventory and explained everything. I am embarrassed to say even though I am in my 70's there is a definite gap in my education. Even if you don't 'smoke' this place is definitely worth a visit just to look at the beautiful glass art.

As i was looking in the guy behind the counter waved at me which seemed a little strange(i wasn't used to smoke shop employees being friendly) i didn't have anywhere to be so i hung a u turn and parked in front of the shop as i was getting out i saw a sign that said BUY ONE GET ONE FREE which i was used to seeing at burger king not a smoke shop!!. walking in to the shop was a completely different experience to what i was used to (like most people from san mateo I've grown up going to the cave which meant customer service was kind of wishful thinking and since they were pretty much the only game in town the prices were hella high) the guy behind the counter introduced himself as Sam and asked if it was my first time in there. I said it was and he proceeded to give me a tour of the shop from a variety of scientific bongs to colorful pipes and even some beautiful animal pipes(i couldn't tell they were pipes until he showed me) they have a great selection of concentrate pieces including a few things only they make. It blew me away that not only did they make everything in the shop but that it was all made locally!!! To make the shop even cooler they have hand carved wooden pipes hanging from the walls. The prices were....idk how to say this but ive never seen such low prices for such high quality I even asked if the tags were a misprint. Sam just laughed and said his boss was a little crazzy but that they believed if the customer was happy then so would they. Sam was really chill and talked me through the whole selection including some pretty complicated perculator systems. He even let me test out a bong i liked using a vapor pen to give me the full feeling, I've never had that happen in a smoke shop before and it was sick!!!! He helped me sign up for their mailing list which also entered me in a monthly contest for a free piece from the shop. I found a cool little turtle pipe and with the buy one get one free i also got a really cool glass sherlock holmes pipe!! the whole transaction only cost me $45!!! Even after i was done buying things i stayed in the shop for another half an hour just talking to sam about tattoos and art he was more interested in being friends than just taking my money. its safe to say this is my shop from now on thank you ART&PEOPLE you guys rock!!!!!

The frame is about 6 inches in size and replacing the glass would be a custom job that would cost about $200.00 from a framing shop. I tried Michael's as well but they also said no, it was a custom design. I wanted to replace the frame cover with Plexiglass for safety and durability and a glass job was too expensive. Home Depot does cut sheets of Plexiglass to size but nothing custom in design. I contacted TAP Plastics in San Mateo and they told me they could do the job in Plexiglass and a small job like that could be done in a few minutes. I brought my frame to them and within 20 minutes I had a custom cut piece of Plexiglass that fit perfectly. The best part is - it cost me $16.55 to get it done. The staff there is super friendly and helpful. Jameson did a great job for me and I can't thank him enough. It's a small job but it meant so much to me. I would use these guys again if I am ever in need of a custom job like this. Thanks Again TAP Plastics you guys are the Best!
