The cop's claim was bogus and I would have loved to drag him into court to testify against my video evidence and show he lied, but court is unpredictable, I'm not even sure the cop would have to attend, and it wasn't worth the risk or my time. The original fine was about $300 in October, which I returned, checked off stating I was going to contest it, hoping I could get reduced fine. Now the fine was up to $955 for my August court date. 10 months and $700 of interest! WTF! John told me that I could NOT go there anytime I wanted to fight the ticket, but he could becaues he is a LAWYER.
