We had to flag her down in a different court room because she wasn't around in our court room when the judge called. Other lawyers in the court building carried papers containing details of their cases. Ms. Scheiber didn't know the details of our case while representing us. The judge even commented on this and wondered why our lawyer didn't seem to know significant details of our case. She would walk into the court room with her hands empty, going from court room to court room in this manner, "representing" multiple clients at the same time. She clearly did minimal work in her legal services. Outside the court room she even said it didn't matter to her which side won while speaking with the opposite side. It's all the same to Ms. Scheiber how the case turned out. When asked about her inability to serve in the court room, she said she wasn't just representing us but had to deal with multiple clients, using this as an excuse for her poor performance. It's not an excuse. She needs to take on fewer clients if she cannot handle so many, which she clearly could not. She has the audacity to charge money for such legal services. Please find yourself a better lawyer who actually prepares before the case and who hasn't overloaded themselves to this extent. Her legal services will be at your detriment.

Given how the normed culture of society tends to lean/favor the mother, I feared I wouldn't see nor have equal rights to raising my newborn daughter. Warren Hoffman started working for me, my rights, days before I retained his firm. At that moment I felt protected and represented- he was calm, cool, knowledgeable, no bells and whistles. I felt good going into their office and finalizing our agreement. Instead of Warren Hoffman, I was assigned Andrea Scampoli. Not knowing her name or reputation, I trusted the firm and agreed to her taking point on my case. What followed in the weeks to come was hard but hopeful because of Andrea. Andrea Scampoli was / is nothing short of a heroic, sharp, intelligent, as-a-matter-of-fact, don't F with her, dangerously good attorney. I'm into superheroes and she genuinely behaved like Wonder Woman. She was stoic, understanding, supportive but not wavering. I must say, she did put the other side's attorney to shame in our first meet. The poor guy seemed flustered and searching for pocket-change comebacks but couldn't find any.
