Ron handled everything with professionalism, transparency, and real expertise from start to finish. Even when parts availability became an issue, he took the time to explain the situation and ensured a safe, reliable solution rather than rushing the job or cutting corners. That level of care and accountability is rare. What truly set this experience apart was how I was treated. As a woman, I was met with straightforward honesty and respect--no talking down, no pressure--just clear, professional service exactly as it should be. As a 4th-generation, locally owned business, Ft. Mitchell Garage represents the best of what "shop local" should mean: quality work, integrity, and pride in what they do. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

The car has very low miles so I did not think a new clutch was needed but had no idea what else it could be. I took it to the local dealer (twice) and they couldn't ID the issue. The first time they flushed/refilled the hydraulic fluid which was pretty dirty. It helped but didn't cure the problem. The next time, they couldn't find the issue but gave me a $6000 estimate for a new clutch. That seemed way out of line so I went to Ft Mitchell Garage. They ran through all the diagnostics and then multiple people drive the car . Finally on one of the drives, Ron experienced the problem . They ended up simply lubricating the gears. It cost $237 not $6000!

Incredible and quick service. Also much more fairly priced than other shops. Highly recommend.read more

Todd helped me and it took just under three hours so much sure you plan some time. They have a small waiting room with two tvs. It was $575 for replacement of two parts of the muffler. You can see your car getting repaired and downside is you can hear EVERYTHING. Plenty of parking in their private lot which takes up a whole corner in Covington. Would I come back for work? Yes I probably would.
