Let's get to it. Would I hire this company again to move my antiques? Yes. Which was most of my furniture. I hired 3 guys because of a piano. Rock, skinny Bryce (don't let his size fool you) and another I can't remember his name (sorry). 3 hours of work plus 30 minutes drive time to & 30 minutes drive time back. They wrapped everything in plastic and blankets. The upright piano was the last to leave the house and with grunts and groans all 3 were able to get it down the stairs, out the door and onto the truck. I helped move that bad boy up into the house and I knew just how hard it was going to be getting it out. My wife & I liked these guys. We joked with them and they joked back and they took care of the things that we spent a short life time collecting. Except the guy who wouldn't tell me his secret for smoking ribs. Johnny's salt. Cyrus and Darren were very polite. Professional but very sweet and warm. I hope I get them again. I've moved something like 8 times in my life and this was the best experience. Very fairly priced. They had to pack my things and were very fast about it, labeled everything. They even protected my portable lightbox. Very patient with me, I'd never used a storage facility before and Darren was so nice to explain how the door and everything worked. read more

Damaged! Missing! Incomplete job! And also totally wrong estimates and didn't follow their own labels. We arranged a 3 bedroom move including packing and unpacking, hauling away boxes. The estimate was for two days: 4 hours of packing on one day, then 8 hours of moving and unpacking the next day. Day 1: Everything seemed OK but at the end of 4 hours they had clearly NOT finished packing. They had to leave out beds, but there was a TON of stuff that should have been packed that was not. I guess they left to avoid staying longer than they quoted. I assumed they would handle it with the extra time they had the next day. Day 2: They didn't bring any boxes or packing materials! They actually had to use our bedding to form crude knapsacks to gather up remaining stuff. I had to go pick up a new table in a ZipVan. And they failed to bring a big enough truck, so they had to load things into the ZipVan that *I* rented separately and I took a load too. And when we drove off, my old place was *not* empty. At my new place, they unloaded things mostly as expected, but we had things labeled "master" in the living room, and many boxes simply not in the room they were labeled for. After 8 hours, they left. They did not unpack anything, despite that being our agreement! So on to the aftermath... Day 3+ (me! not them!): We spent weeks unpacking. I had to come back to my old house and make multiple carloads of things left behind that they missed. Our full length mirror was broken irreparably (the wooden frame, not the mirror surface). It was leaned against a wall so the damage was not visible. Our couch has a huge rip in its bottom upholstery. Our living room chair has clearly had something sharp scraped across its seat. Wow! You guys are amazing! Personal, professional, quick, and efficient! We are impressed with how friendly and polite you were from the beginning. We appreciate that you took time to disassemble and reassemble furniture, place each box in their designated rooms, and assisted with reorganizing our storage space. You never complained about the move from a second floor apartment to a third floor apartment even though it was quite hot outside. Had a two day move planned. Crew showed up on the first day on time and were very hard-working and packed everything up excellently. Second day, nobody showed up. We started calling one hour after the scheduled time and it took multiple calls before anyone was willing to pick up the phone. We were advised that a driver was sick and we would need to postpone for a few hours. Ok, no problem, we're not in a rush. Waited three hours beyond the newly advised time before calling again. At this point we've called and emailed multiple times with zero response. We have literally no idea if our move is going to complete, because we can't get in touch with anyone. Honestly we don't even care if we have to delay; things happen and especially in this COVID-19 environment you want to be very careful about illnesses. But not communicating is a serious problem. At least explain to your customers if things need to be delayed by a day/week/year or cancelled so that they can make subsequent plans. Leaving customers hanging without any communication is just about the worst thing you can do; worse than cancelling completely. read more

Stay away... We used the company to move within Bothell and now we have over 5k damages - they rolled the piano on our beautiful hardwood floor and left deep indentations on the entire path, from the entry to the dining room. The company does not have insurance to cover damages they make to your house. We contacted the company about the problem, it has been months, and and "You got it movers" have done nothing to resolve this. read more

Most people say "You get what you pay for", however that is NOT the case here. I am disabled and on a limited income. James and his crew were absolutely phenomenal! They showed up on time and even stayed later than the scheduled time. They told me "we aren't leaving until the job is done and you are happy"! That was an awesome feeling knowing that they were willing to go above and beyond. Not many places will do that for a client. You Got It! Movers! Had the best rates in town. These Movers were a God send. I called them late in the afternoon and explained what Juanita's moving company did to me and never showed up. But I spoke to Alex and he set up his movers to come the next day. The guys came and were super nice, professional and willing to help. They were quick and honest. I highly recommend these Movers. They were concerned not to mess up my house by using blankets to protect my walls and floor. A huge Plus was that they were also $100 cheaper then Juanita's and Jay's moving company. read more

We were first impressed with our bid because this company quoted us significantly less, than two other professional moving companies. Then the moving crew which consisted of Kyle, Logan and Eric were so professional, fast and made the experience so pleasant. I had a last minute move and needed a truck and movers for that coming weekend and I was surprised of how easy the phone call was. I was expecting a lengthy conversation of how many sq footage, what furniture, how big, how many stairs, etc etc etc. James was quick and straight to the point, it was almost too good to be true. They were flexible and super easy going, my original move was to move everything into storage unit. But a couple days went by and I ended up signing a lease to a condo, thinking this would be a conflict for the movers. I called James back and let him know the change of plans, without hesitation they were willing to accommodate. Dan and Travis were just what I needed! I had originally planned to only hire movers for the furniture part of my move in order to save money, but the quote that I got from James was 3/4 the lowest hourly rate I had gotten quoted from anyone else, so I was feeling flexible when the team arrived. While they were both hard-working and professional, Dan in particular stood out to me. He was flexible and easy-going about my lack of organization in preparing for the move, while being positive and encouraging about me packing as much into the truck as I could/wanted to. I did not feel pressured at all, but supported and encouraged. I know I have said that word twice now, but I can't say enough about how encouraging Dan's presence and way of relating to me were during this stressful time. I was able to get a lot more boxes packed while they were working, as well as figure out some things that could easily be moved without being packed away in boxes. I would definitely recommend this company, and particularly this team, to anyone I know who is looking to move in the Everett area. We have moved internationally and locally more times than we can remember. You got it moving Company is one of the best we have dealt with ever. We didn't know James was the owner until after the move. He is so humble and caring. His team Cyrus, Brandon, and Rudy were great! Caitrin and James were so professional and prompt with the scheduling process. They made sure they called and confirmed twice before showing up because they didn't want to waste time as we were paying hourly. Our furniture was intact along with our walls and new flooring! Some of our furniture was unique and VERY heavy but they carried it without complaining. They moved our stuff with smiles and a pleasant attitude throughout the day. This dream team took the stress out of our moving day! We have had a lot of experience with moving companies and they are exceptional in their customer service. We would highly recommend them. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! RIP-OFF, BEWARE!!! When I first called You Got It Moving, I spoke with the owner, James. I told him that it was imperative I had all of my stuff moved out by a certain date. I told him I had a two bedroom apartment with a lot of stuff & a lot of large furniture, including a large, very heavy entertainment center that would require at least 3-4 strong men to move. I told him that it was not particle board furniture but solid wood, very heavy & cost over $4000. He told me not to worry, he has only big, strong guys with a lot of experience moving working for him, they could handle it no problem & make sure my furniture stays undamaged, even if it were only two of them. So I booked the appointment.He sent two guys of very average size: one shorter one, about 5' 6" and one skinny & taller, about 5', 10", that came to help me move. They were not big & muscular as described. One was in charge, I think his name was Mike or Erik (I'll call him Mike), and the other guy's name was Jerik. When they first got there, Mike/Erik walked around my apartment for 45 minutes all stressed out with a shi!#y attitude, telling me I had a lot of stuff & more large furniture than he expected & he didn't know if they could move my stuff out that day & I might have to reschedule for another day, as if it was my fault, & that he had to call his boss, James & talk over with him what my options are. REALLY, are you freakin' kidding me!?!? I told him I absolutely HAD to move at least all the large/medium furniture that I couldn't move myself out that day. Period. I told him that I told James/owner what the situation was when I scheduled the move & he told me not to worry, they could handle it so it's not my fault and that's not ok. I also said I planned on having them move all the large furniture out first while I packed and then move the packed stuff. He said that he didn't know if they could do it that way (why the hell not is completely beyond me) & that he would have to call his boss and talk it over with him first. I didn't see why but I didn't care to argue with him about it so I let him do his thing and began packing. Mike (or whatever) also told me that James does that a lot. He left to call his boss/James and literally walked around on the phone bitching, whining & complaining about everything for about the next 45 minutes, then came back & told me that they could pack all of the large furniture first, then load the smaller packed stuff (exactly what I had said) and do it in two trips, which is what I told him in the first place, not that I called it to his attention as I did not think he could handle it & was afraid he might explode & start yelling at me, as I hoped he wasn't charging me for the hour he just wasted.He did start yelling at his helper, Jerik, quite a lot using very degrading terminology & the F' word a lot, at high volume. I know my neighbors heard him & was embarrassed but I had no choice at that point but to just move and get out while I could.They had a LOT of trouble getting my entertainment center out, down the stairs & into the truck. I was really surprised at how much trouble they had & was concerned at that point, as it took them about an hour & a half just to get it loaded. Afterward Mike/Erik asked if they could take a break to catch their breath. After driving to my new apartment, when unloading the entertainment center, though the stairs were shorter, Mike/Erik kept saying that they were unable to get it up the stairs, he needs another guy to come help, he needs someone taller, etc. They finally stopped trying after 45 minutes, put the entertainment center down & Mike/Erik said that they couldn't do it with just two of them, he has to call his boss to send another person to help. He called James/owner, spoke with him for a while, walked around for at least another hour waiting to hear back as I unpacked the truck & Jerik helped. A man who lived there stopped & asked a few times if we would like him to help move the entertainment center up the stairs. Mike/Erik said no. I told him to just let him help, I really need to get this done, we have been waiting for a while & haven't heard back from his boss regarding the other helper. Mike/Erik said no due to liability purposes while wasting my time & charging me later for it. Finally, Mike/Erik decided to try again with just the two of them & they finally did it but took way too ridiculously long. Much longer than it should have & they almost dropped it completely before banging it around the stairwell many times. When I first called, I was told it should take no more than 4 hours to move everything. They charged me for 6.7, only got 1/3 of my stuff out, charged me for all the time they wasted, which was more time than they spent moving & ruined my nice furniture. I told James I should not be charged for all the time they wasted, breaks, etc, His response was, "Well, what do you expect for $75 an hour? There's more but not enough room. read more

Very personable and friendly, however, they did not bother to secure the items in my truck and when I opened the back, the items fell out and were damaged. They also did not bother to wrap items properly so many of my items were scratched and damaged in the truck. I recommend using someone else. read more

I needed to find someone to move two HEAVY dressers and an area rug from Kirkland, WA to Arlington, WA. Found this company through Angie's List and they were able to move the furniture the next day. They were early, very professional, reasonably priced and were able to do it when they wouldn't be sitting in traffic driving the cost up. They did a far better job than the other movers who moved the same furniture from Bellevue to Kirkland. I would gladly use them again and refer them to others. read more

DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS!!! I hired them to move my things from a storage unit to my new residence on 7/16/2017. Dan & Jerik did such a good job that I gave EACH of them a $40.00 tip. The total bill came to $562.50. As Dan made out the receipt, I stood next to him and counted out $563.00, twice to be sure it was correct, in 20's and 1's as I did not have 50 cents in change. As they were leaving I gave them each $40.00 and thanked them very much for the wonderful job they had done. A minute or so later Dan came running up the stairs and said, " you only gave me $462.50. You owe another $100.00". I disagreed with him but he insisted I had shorted him by $100.00. I gave him an additional $100.00. After mulling this over for a few days, I called James, the owner and told him about this. He said he would talk to Dan. Moments later Dan called me and we went over the same thing again. Then Dan said "he would see if James would send me a check for $100.00. I called a few days later and was told someone would call me back. No call back so I again called on 8/7/2017 and James said "he would mail me a check for $100.00 today". By 8/21, 14 days after last call, I still had not received a check. I called James and he said "the mailman did not pick up the check and he would send it again, immediately". I told him that if I did not receive it in 7 days I would write a review he would not like. It is now 8/31 and still no check. The 1 star is only so I can submit this review. This is a very dishonest group of movers/owner who apparently think they can take advantage of a senior citizen and get away with it. Again, DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS!!! read more
