Interior is spacious and clean with many tables and community seating

The restaurant sticks out as the only Japanese restaurant in this section of Avenue de Revolution, the main tourist drag. Nestled between the shops and Mexican restaurants and bars, it's very noticeable by its signage, and even when it's not open by the Japanese anime figure painted on its closed door. It's a really great ramen house and surprisingly authentic. The ramen noodles are tasty and firm, the broth is rich with pork flavor and ramen goodness. They have a good selection of variety if you don't want to have ramen or want to compliment your meal with, for example, dumplings or curry rice. I wasn't hungry enough to try the curry rice but I intend to next time. The inside is very clean and the service is friendly. They were very pleasant and quick to bring the food and drinks out. Hope they stay open a long time. Highly recommend.

Sabroso este ramen Some of the best ramen I've had. If your in TJ, it's a must try. Located on the legendary "Revolution" street.

Thin noodles with pork and pork broth spicy ramen with a matcha horchata drink

I finally stopped for some ramen here, it is a bit hyped ramen place as more authentic. And it did not let down. I had the thin noodles with pork and pork broth, of course, in spicy form with a matcha horchata drink. All was delicious, I cleaned that bowl! This is a definitive stop for good food in the area.

Cheap place to eat. The ramen soup was excellent. There was a side of potato salad included. Highly recommended for those who want ramen soup in Mexico.

    Shoyu ramen with char su

Not bad for a place that is not known for Japanese ramen. The best part was the attentive wait staff. I had tried to order the salt broth ramen with char shu but they were out of salt broth. So I picked the shoyu broth ramen with char shu and an order of edamame. The appetizer arrived in a large bowl full of edamame big enough to feed 10 people and could not even finish a fourth of them. Then came the bowl of ramen that looked typical to what you would find in Los Angles but the broth was a bit weak and somewhat flavorless. The char shu was tender and well salted and delicious. There was a choice of noodles an I picked the thin long noodles but they turned out to be a bit soft and almost over cooked. This is not a bad place if you crave a warm bowl of ramen but definitely nothing compared to the ramen shops norht of the border,

Today i opted for the bulgogi combo. For about $8, I got a container of bulgogi beef, rice and stir fried veggies. The portion was quite large. The beef was well cooked and had a nostalgic Korean bulgogi beef flavor. Mixed in with some spicy sauce it made a very filling meal.

Even though I was not hungry, I still happily took a sample from a server at Mongus Grill and boy was I happy I did! The bulgogi chicken he gave us was delicious, I just had to have more! In fact both my boyfriend and I each got a meal because it was so affordable ($16 for both) and we devoured it instantly (so quickly I forgot to take a picture). They also have a wide variety of food options, you can make your own Mongolian bowl and have it cooked right in front of you or have one of their specialties cooked in the back. I'll definitely come back when I have a bigger appetite for the make your own bowls, I saw a guy piling on the food and the cook give ample amount of noodles! They really do have great customer service. The staff was so friendly and really welcoming!! Definitely consider supporting this mom and pop shop, you won't be sorry! :)
