Fred Meyer Gas has pretty much been my go-to station since I moved to Bham almost 20 years ago…read more It's convenient to my house, the gas is always on the cheaper side, and if I rack up the Rewards points at Fred's I can get quite a bit off per gallon of gas. This particular location remodeled a few years ago and tripled in size, so there are no more long lines, the place is well lit, and it's still super conveniently located in the Fred's parking lot. There's also a TINY little store on-site where you can buy the essentials (like water, candy, chips, and - for the smokers - ciggies).
