Outstanding service! Highly recommended! We dealt with Ali and Sham during our process of buying a certified second hand red Mazda CX-5. They were really patient with us (we waited a few weeks while they got new stuff in stock), didn't force/push us in any direction, answered all our questions, gave us a really competitive price, were transparent with us about price and options, and ultimately aimed to please at every step of the way. We never had to wait around long for them to help us out. You can tell they were taking the long view - that it wasn't just selling a vehicle ASAP - they wanted us as long term Mazda customers, and for us to continue returning there for service. I returned the day after the purchase with a concern and Ali committed to addressing it right away. We were actually looking around at a number of dealerships, assuming Mazda dealerships are all above board, only to discover that is not the case. We actually nearly bought a car at 401/Dixie Mazda - until we pulled out due to really unsavory practices. These guys are the worst service department ever. I just needed a plastic molding piece snapped on. They wouldn't do it twice when I was there buying the part and made me book an appointment a week later. On that day I was running late with a sick parent and called to ask if they could do it half an hour later. No dice no way. Completely rude and unhelpful, a job that would probably take 15-20 minutes couldn't be accommodated without leaving the car all day or rebooking a week later. Completely unhelpful and rude. What kind of customer service is that? My lease is coming up but one thing I know for sure is that I will never set foot in this dealership again! read more

Terrible experience with Yorkdale Mazda. If you're buying a car from here, make sure you have everything in writing before you make the purchase. I've lost work and more money in buying car from them. Worst customer service experience I have had. I Met with an accident and needed a car as soon as possible. I got in touch with several Mazda dealerships for CX 30. Almit at Yorkdale Mazda said they have one arriving within 2 to 3 weeks but mostly will be sooner than that. 3 weeks for safer side. Now after 3 weeks he disappears, doesn't respond to any texts or my calls. Gives me fake promises everyday and makes me belive he is going to get me a loaner or rental..which never happens. The worst was when I complained to thier branch president Ali Erol about it. He just gave big talks and does nothing but gets me connected me to another guy named Conor who was worst than almit. He behaved as if he wanted to get rid of me and asked me to cancle the deal as they cannot track the car with a VIN and says it will not come indefinitely and I should either buy a used car or a much expensive car from them. Then after waiting for a few weeks some other person calls to say that they sold my car to 2 people and good news is they managed to convince other person to buy another car so I can now have the car which I paid deposit for. They made me go though such a stressful time. And the best part is after so much hassle for almost 6 weeks they tell me you should be lucky we got you a car. Forget compensating for thier blunders in any way they asked me multiple times to cancle the car and lied to my face that the car will not come indefinitely after give me a VIN. I understand there is a shortage of cars and times are tough but this dealership is worst when it comes to keeping thier customers happy. If I had the option I would have never bought the car from them.. NO ONE deserves such a behavior and sh**ty customer service. read more

Never answer the phones, when they do answer they are quick to transfer you to the other departments but they never answer.l either. They were amazing when they knew I was buying a car, after the purchase their service was a joke. Car was detailed paid $400+ and still parts of the car were dirty. Extremely disappointed and dismayed by my experience here. I (in hindsight, quite regretfully) placed full faith in Das, the owner of the dealership, who initially helped us with ordering our car back in December last year. He told me that my car would arrive latest by the end of February, and I gave my deposit, knowing to expect that there will be delays in spite of what he was saying to me. I have been extremely patient. I have waited almost half a year without a single word of complaint every time they pushed the delivery date further and further away from what we had agreed upon. I understood they probably would not deliver by the date they had promised, because these things were simply out of their control. This dishonesty had indeed already rubbed me the wrong way, but I was still willing to give the benefit of the doubt. However, what I was not expecting was for them to call me after numerous delays to tell me that the black car that I had ordered did not arrive. Instead, there was apparently an 'internal glitch in the system' which led to a grey car arriving instead of a black one. I had already been assigned a VIN, and the contract I had signed affirms I had requested a black car. It is highly inconceivable to me that such a mistake could have occurred when they could not provide me any evidence or internal documentation to show that it was truly an honest mistake. As such, this naturally leads me to believe that they have sold my car to someone else. The only concessions they have tried to make is to sell me a grey car that I do not want, or wait another few months for a car that I now know may or may not arrive. I can no longer trust a single word of what they say, when they have broken this trust so many times. I have tried to be understanding, but this behaviour is appalling to me, and quite frankly, simply unacceptable. I am completely disillusioned with Yorkdale Dufferin Mazda. read more

I was purchasing an Used Mazda 3 from a UCDA Dealer that had bought the Mazda 3 at an auction. Even though the Dealer was selling the car certified with Safety & E-Tested, plus 2yrs warranty, I wanted to have a fresh pair, preferably a pair of Mazda-certified eyes check the car. So I called them, told them about my situation, and they recommended the $105 plus taxes 50-point inspection, and made an appointment for me. I was running a bit late (about 15 mins. behind schdeule) stuck in traffic in the midst of a snow-squall, and a guy from Yorkdale Dufferin Mazda called me asking if I was coming in or needed to re-schedule. I told him I'm running late, and he re-scheduled an appointment 30 mins. after my original appointment, giving me ample time to drive over safely in the conditions. This was the best $120 (approximately after taxes) I spent. The car had a few extra niggles than the ones I already knew from the dealer. Also got some pretty good off-the-record man-to-man advice being a first time a Mazda/Mazda 3 owner. read more

The service department is made up of liars and thieves. I stopped taking my car to the dealership for maintenance because I knew I couldn't trust them, and only brought my car in to have seasonal tires installed when my regular mechanic was booked up. Every time I would bring my car in just for the tires, they would tell me there's something wrong with the car that needs to be fixed. And every time, I take the car to my mechanic who says there's nothing wrong with it. Most recently, I took my car to Mazda to have my summer tires installed and one of the technicians told me that my brake pads had only 1 millimetre left on them and needed to be changed IMMEDIATELY. Not trusting them, I told them I'd take my car elsewhere for that. Today, I took my car to Master Mechanic and they told me I still had another 15,000 km left on my brake pads. DO NOT TRUST YORKDALE-DUFFERIN MAZDA. I will never go back, even for seasonal tire installation. read more

I have purchased two Mazda's from this Dealership. My salesperson is no longer there which is a real shame, as he was the ONLY one that treated me with respect. A year after my first Mazda was bought I was in a bad accident and totalled it and had to purchase another. A few weeks after that one was received I was rear ended ( I know bad luck) and it was nothing but a headache of repairs that were not done correctly. ( they highly recommended the body shop) The service manager at the Mazda Yorkdale is the most condescending, disrespectful customer service person I have ever dealt with, ever!!! To the point where I would happily drive out of my way to another Mazda dealer dealership for proper customer service. I have confronted him and the owner of the dealership as to why I was being treated and spoken to that way, however they deflected it back on to the customer. That is outrageous, I'm giving THEM my business!!! I hear GYRO Mazda is way better! I'm not one to write reviews, yet I have never written a negative review like this, but if I can save somebody else their money and this awful service I will happily do so... I submitted an offer online to the sales manager, and instead of being honest and forthright about the price of the car, the manager encouraged me to drive out and "put it on paper". When i arrived, the first thing i was told was that there was "no way" they'd given me the car for the price range I had submitted. Both my wife and I took personal days off of work to make the trip out--all under false pretences in what I can only imagine was the manager's hope that we would impulsively disregard our budget and give him the price he was looking for. They are not responsible for any problem you might face to. As far as you are happy with your car and you pay as much as they want, they are cool. They are all nice to you till you are willing to buy the car, as soon as the prices don't work out, they won't hesitate for a minute to insult you before letting you go. Don't go there at all. Horrible Customer Service! I brought my Mazda3 to this dealership in order to get it repaired. Prior to bringing it in, I asked one of the technicians, Mike, to send me a quote outlining the breakdown of the cost for the repair. I was given two quotes: one that involved bumper replacement (~$1338) and the other without bumper replacement (~$710). After receiving the quotes, I called Mike to let him know that I would like to go with option #2 (ie: no bumper replacement). I came in to the dealership today to pick up my car and I was asked to pay $1338! I told Tony (the only technician on site today) that that was the price associated with bumper replacement, which I *specifically* asked them *not* to do. Long story short, I tried to tell them that I would only pay for the service that I had asked for. The mistake was clearly made on their end. Tony said that he would not be able to release the car to me unless I pay $1338. Their whole thing was, to pay the full amount now, wait until Monday for Mike to come in to work, and if the discrepancy was caused by their own employee, then I would get reimbursed. I told them that I would be putting myself in a very dangerous position, because once they get my money, there is no guarantee that they will own up to their mistake. After over 40 minutes of going back and forth with Tony and Surinder (dealership manager), they managed to get a hold of Mike who confirmed what I had been trying to explain for about 40 minutes. I have no intention of giving this dealership my business again. They seem to have a lot of problems with their internal process, more specifically in the area of communication, thus leading to incidents like this. In another occasion, I had called to let the receptionist know that I would not be able to drop off my car one evening. I told her that I had spoken to Mike earlier in the day and that he was expecting me to arrive that evening. The next day, I got a phone call from Mike asking me where my car was. I told him that I had asked the receptionist to pass on my message, which she clearly did not. I will be filing a complaint with Mazda Canada in more detail as I do not believe that customers should be treated this way. read more

I am very disappointed and unhappy with the experience at the Yorkdale -Dufferin Mazda. I am the lease buyer. The lease seller and I already made the deal and the closing date. The day before the closing date, I called their financial manager"Manpreet Moti" to let her prepare the contract. I called her about 10 times but she didn't answer me. I asked the front desk pearson to leave message and let Manpreet Moti call me back at her convenience. But I still didn't hear anything. Finally Finally, it was almost 7:30pm, I got her calling back and told me that she was in a whole busy day and will contact me later. BUT, I didn't get her call back after this call. And the next day (should be the closing day), Manpreet Moti contacted seller and told her that they can't make the contract for us as they are not the car's original dealership. It is so ridiculous, isn't it? We had discussions few days ago , filled out the request forms and she did my credit check. She should know the whole story. Why didn't she tell us early that they can't make it? Now the closing date of the car lease takeover has been delayed to next week. ....They only care about their profits not the customers. They only give the priority to the customers who give them big profits. If there was no profit, they will leave the case aside. We won't visit this irresponsibility dealership any more! read more

I booked a service and winter tire chance two weeks in advance for my 2017 CX-5 and I show up (30 min drive from downtown Toronto, and it's the closet one) and the guy sitting at the service desk that seemed to have developed his customer service skills from the Academy of "Meh, Don't Both Me" told me that I didn't book a service, only a tire change and the tire change would take 2 hours. Um, I booked the service at the same time I booked the tire change, and TWO HOURS for a tire change when I already took the morning off work to do this and booked two weeks in advance. Are you joking? He couldn't have cared less. The first time I went here for a service took a long time as well, and there was no mention of it. These experiences have made me regret buying a Mazda. It's like a relationship, so great at the beginning (buying the car.) but as soon as you move in together... BOOM, all goes to hell. Do not move in with this deanship, whatever you do.
