He arrived within the 2 hour window he mentioned. Removed the branches and cleaned the area up. I highly recommend them they are fair and honest.

The contractor we had originally hired to rebuild our retaining wall in front of our house had only…read morepartially excavated the job site, and then disappeared with our money and never returned to finish the work. So, we started hunting for someone new to build the wall, and eventually settled on Garden Creations in Red Lion. We chose them partially due to their pricing, but also because of their location, how quickly they were able to quote the job, and the fact that they provided a proper written contract before starting work. They were very professional. They kept the job site clean/protected, they were true to their word and showed up on time every day and worked full days to get the job done quickly, and they even went a step further than they needed to, and cleaned out all the weeds and poison that had grown in the mulch around the wall (it had gotten really bad since it had been almost 6 months since the original contractor disappeared). I would definitely recommend this company for any hardscape related work, as they took their time to do the job the right way, and they handled the project professionally from start to finish.

After six weeks and a $1500 retainer, John delivered two corners from a fifty year old deed and…read moreindignantly refused to admit their error. Our contract clearly states our deed's four corners was the job. Our deed includes three previous owners, four sets of latitude & longitude, and four sides measured to fractions of feet. Our property is bordered by one neighbor, the creek, and uninhabited woods on the remaining two sides. John clearly racked up the billable by pulling multiple area deeds and taking the time to plot neighbors two doors down. After discovering that John ignored our very clear modern deed and used wrong data, First Capital Engineering also ignored all requests to mediate error.

When I reached out to First Capital Engineering, I was addressed with such professionalism and enthusiasm from staff that I knew I would be in great hands. John Luciani the president of the company took on my project with great care in educating me with each part of the process to ensure I had a complete understanding of what was needed for the most efficient repairs that would best fit our budget as well. Mr. Luciani went above and beyond by being our guest speaker at our evening community meeting to inform everyone the need for our repairs. He was very helpful in explaining what to look for in a good excavation contract, provided a written report with proper repair information, and was able to answer any questions or concerns. His knowledge and expertise made voting to moving forward with our repairs much smoother having the information come straight from the expert! He and his incredible staff did an amazing job and I look forward to working again with them again soon. Barbie Papillo Aspers, PA

I DO NOT recommend using this company for any stone/hardscaping projects. I would add photos if I…read morecould because there should be something to compare with what they have on their website. I'd like others to see the horror show that is now my yard. I wanted to replace a small concrete patio at my sidedoor with stone and have my existing stone steps and a small upper patio cleaned and shored up. Instead, after more than a week (on what was projected to be 3-4 days) of Meadowview's work, I had to stop them. It was impossible to deny the terrible job they were doing. Friends and neighbors have come to look and are equally appalled. I have obtained the prognosis of another landscaper/hardscaper and ALL the stone Meadowview placed plus ALL the existing stone that was here, has to be removed. I will now have to purchase ALL new stone for the project to be done correctly. Meadowview used "quikcrete" indiscriminately on and between the stone, creating a huge, ugly eyesore, which is inappropriate and already cracking. In the process, Meadowview destroyed large sections of grass on my front and back lawn and then placed straw - with either minimal or no seeding, no prep or watering (it is August) - to cover all the bare ground and tire tracks they created. It's a horrible mess and it will likely take months before it can be done properly. I have lost the enjoyment of my yard for the foreseeable future. Everywhere I look, between damaged, unleveled stone, steps covered in bright white quikcrete, and bare or straw-strewn ground, is complete disaster. I'm leaving this review because I look to comments for help in decision making and assume others do the same. I did my due diligence to choose what I thought was the right company to handle the project and chose Meadowview because I assumed the owner, the photos and the comments were true. It's not anywhere near reality in this case. Come see my yard...I will be adding photos.
