Instead of fostering a respectful and supportive environment, many staff members handle issues poorly, dismiss student concerns, and fail to address real problems like bullying and fights. Teachers sometimes act unprofessionally by showing favoritism, enforcing rules inconsistently, or treating students disrespectfully. The dean and principal, especially Mr. Antony, seem more focused on strict and unnecessary policies--like the harsh phone rules--rather than actually improving the school environment. Their lack of leadership and failure to take student safety and well-being seriously make it clear that Mountain View is not being run the way a school should be.

Even with the multiple times we have moved away only to return, my son has always attended Evergreen district... I think we always figured he would end up here. He has wonderful friends and the teachers are excellent! Sure, no school is perfect but this school has some amazing teachers who inspire the students to open their minds. My son changed his career goals because of one of those teachers and now he is in Running start in full pursuit of his goals.

The 7th grade last year was a bit rude to the teachers and made the Spanish teacher and art teacher quit their jobs, I can say this school is one million times better than Mac or lee. The sports teams are nice and competitive but not in a rude way. They have assistance for special educational students and the orchestra/band/choir go on field trips to preform for the elementary schools and the theater goes to show cases and such. The school was amazing but maybe not the teachers they hired... when I was in 2nd grade my teacher…read morems h we will call her, was TERRIBLE on the first week of school she screamed at me for I don't remember why but my dad had to come in and talk to her. this happened frequently and it was traumatizing, she was so mad at me sometimes she didn't even want to deal with me so she would constantly rush in the counselor while I was in tears. i was also a very sensitive kid in 2nd grade. but she had a lot of favoritism. onto another teacher there was one in 4th grade, we will call him Mr p and to my understanding he was a pain, No pain is an understatement, he did so much bad things, though I was not in his class my friends suffered there, he would not let the girls use the restroom period. My friend would use it anyways and get referrals for using the bathroom. I also heard rumors about some things I should not talk about on here, over all if your kid is talking about a bad teacher listen to them, I'm not sure but some of the teachers they hire are how I explained them and maybe worse. My experience here was okay but I would not bring my kids here.
