At 5pm on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, I contacted York Automotive and spoke with Frankie, who suggested that I avoid driving my car due to the symptoms I described, specifically the noisy rear wheel bearing. He then arranged to have my vehicle towed to his shop. Before I had the opportunity to visit his shop on Friday morning, Frankie proactively contacted me and spent 20 minutes providing a detailed explanation of the issue, confirming that the repairs would be completed later that day. Absolutely not, he sold my daughter a car on payments and with stipulations that he was the only one allowed to fix it. Never fixed it right after taking it back more then twice, in return caused her to be late on several of her payment due to no transportation, and it affecting her job, but she still paid the late fees and depended on him to fix the car. To keep from fixing the car he waved the late few late fees and wrote it off after she done paid over 3 to 4 thousand for a car that sat 75% of the time since purchase from him. he was also "to booked up to fix it" hence waving late fees, after collecting 90% of the money for a junk car. Terrible experience for her 1st car purchase!! I absolutely do not recommend!!! Side note: his words " her struggle is not his problem" even though he created the whole struggle by selling her a car that was not reliable literally broke down weeks after purchase, and stayed broke down MOST of the time, while she still paid even if it was late! read more

This guy is a bad mechanic. He may be able to fix a flat tire that's about all he can do..I would love to be into the rain for my post but it would absolutely take forever.. Stop calling it Yorks because you will never be able to live up to that name as a good mechanic... I'm so ashamed of Frank Christian and what he did to my granddaughter. A promise is your word that you wouldn't do her wrong with the purchase of the crappy car you sold her and the stipulations you put the on it. She could only come to you to work on it and God forbid if she was late you talked on 50$ a week late payment.. Who does that crap...tow fees, parts paud for that didn't need to be put on. A real mechanic would check that Cadillac converter out before telling her it was all 4 sensors.. He never put them on cause he was to busy to work on her car that he told her in the contract that she couldn't take it to anyone else but him thank God that she got it all paid for and she finally has a trustworthy honest individual to work to k on it...don't do business with this person...Mr York is probably turning over in his grave that you are running the business in the ground read more
