Taking the country roads may make for interesting sights but there can be long stretches between towns. I spotted this place which had a minimart type store and pulled in. There was no problem being directed to the restroom but I hit a hitch trying to buy a drink for the road in the minimart. I'll save that story for my review of the store though. We also found one of those awesome laminated maps (my favorite) for when we head into Indiana (again, the approximate middle of nowhere). We travel a lot but like back country roads where smart phones are no longer so smart. You'd be surprised how few places sell maps anymore (or maybe you wouldn't since it seems like I'm the only one who buys them anymore? Oh well.) I highly recommend this stop. It's a nicely stocked store with friendly service. We got gas and some drinks and all went smoothly. Separate men and women's bathrooms that aren't just single stall so a family doesn't have to race or yell "dibs" after a long car ride through beautiful no-man's land. Best of all; it was CLEAN!!! Much better than I expect on the road, particularly when it's the road less traveled!

I have been to a lot of gasoline stations in my day, and this one is by far one of the absolute…read morebest.  The pumps at this place are the finest pumping machines available to man; I mean these things are something out of a sci-fi movie. While I was fuelling up my automobile I could not help but notice other automobiles were driving THRU a section of the business.  Upon further inspection I found that you can LITERALLY drive your automobile right into the building and an employee will tend to your needs while you relax in the comfort of your automobile.  How neat is that! Once done pumping away I entered this brick establishment, and even though some dumbass decided to paint the beautiful brick white it is still a decent looking establishment.  When I opened the door I was greeted by a "ding" sound that made me feel right at home.  I was feeling parched so I headed for the soda pop area, and acquired a frosty mountain dew.   I ordered a sub and ate it while walking about the store.  I found this place to have everything from beer, smokes, lottery, pizza subs, etc.  It truly is a one-stop shop.   If I were ever to call this lovely village home, this place would be a daily stop for my family and me.  Prior to leaving I couldn't help myself...I had to drive thru the building.  I entered and was greeted by even more beer than what was inside the store.  As I sat in my automobile a lovely lady walked up to my window and asked what she could get for me.  Grabbed me a bag of chips and another mountain dew.   Highly recommend!
