I stopped by for an inexpensive cooler to carry some seafood home. They had the perfect cooler for only $5. The clerk was helpful and friendly. I looked at the surf supplies and another clerk immediately asked if I needed assistance. The fishing gear is unbelievable. And kayaks, they carry everything. I could have spent all day in there. They rent surf boards, paddle boards, bikes and sell fishing licenses and can even set up fishing charters. They are locally owned. They offer free parking. I'll be back on my next visit to Surf City.

I am a novice and was asking some questions about what would work and what is running and what type of equipment would I need to begin a new hobby, on the bays, shore fishing and maybe someday kayak fishing. We went in to see if they had supplies to repair the line and I guess the guys working there overheard me and my wife talking and offered me a ride to the auto parts store. I thought kindness in this world was gone but I was wrong they took me there and brought me back and assisted me in finding the clamps I needed . These are a great bunch of guys that work here. I know quite a few folks that fish off of it a and bring home some great catches. Love that there is a convenience store and a restaurant attached to the pier for convenience​. Great for grabbing some delicious seafood, snacks, souvenirs and other beach essentials for your day on the pier or beach. It even has showers and bathrooms that are nice and clean. All in all a great attraction on Emerald Isle and definitely worth a visit.
