Drove down from Wilmington Tuesday afternoon to try the market; the Market was closed. Disappointed not to try some sea food.

Super friendly and helpful! Delicious fresh sea scallops and peeled/deveined shrimp. Great local spot - easy to get to from the island.

Always fresh seafood and local veggies (in season). Reasonable prices and helpful staff that know their stuff. A "go to" in the area.

Stopped in for a boat part before closing and discovered mini warmies for Christmas. When I went…read moreback the next morning I found out how many great products they had. Compared to Amazon the warmies here were $6 cheaper per Warmie. Happy and surprised, we saved almost $50 from buying them from here. Of all places. Then there's the upstairs apparel section of the store. I found nice hats, gloves, home / boat decor, and a beautiful heavy duty thermal my man loved. It's not pictured due to him wearing it immediately upon seeing it. Now it's in the laundry. This place has excellent gift items, necessities, and prices that are super reasonable. I was surprised they had things on sale also. Great place. Great gifts. I'm sure a gift card could benefit the whole family.

We went in to see if they had supplies to repair the line and I guess the guys working there overheard me and my wife talking and offered me a ride to the auto parts store. I thought kindness in this world was gone but I was wrong they took me there and brought me back and assisted me in finding the clamps I needed . These are a great bunch of guys that work here. Thankyou all for the kindness and friendship you showed us . Anyone visiting please go by and check them out. We made it home on the repairs.

They open fairly early and usually have everything you need. Not a fan of the service charge for the use of a debit or credit card. My advice is to just bring cash!

So sad, they just don't care anymore. They have no QA/QC. Prop was frozen to shaft so took it in and they ruined the prop so asked for cheapest aluminum prop and they take two months to put a $400 SS prop on and I had to keep calling to get this done. These people are related to me so I wanted to use them but I'm through. I will not take it back to this place as it is a waste of time and money. They are not skilled in diagnoses or repair, they can sell you a boat but they can't fix them. Sure, stop in buy a rod and bait but you'll be fishing from the shore. It's not that they are unwilling to correct the issues it's that they are not capable of correcting the problems. I've wanted to sell the boat for 6 months now but can't get it fixed to sell. I'm not saying "don't use these people" I'm just telling my story. I wish there was an empathy button where you could click and feel how bad I feel because of Yopp Brother's and their ineptitude. Amen

I live on the coast, my daughter, who lives in the he Raleigh area was down and had a Christmas…read moregift she needed to exchange - we took the time / day to drive to the Kinston store the day after Christmas. I didn't realize there was a store wide sale of 50 percent off and they were going to be flooded with shoppers. But that was ok We stepped to the register area in the ladies section of the store, stopping at the register on the left when facing the check out station - Before I could get beyond we would like to make an exchange the associate we were speaking with turned , called another associate over and with the most sarcastic tone of voice and eye contact said: We have another exchange. I'm confident without a doubt she had a long day but her attitude and tone were completely unnecessary. I've been stopping by The Neuse Sport Shop for many years and have never had a less than positive encounter with any other associate. I completely understand seasonal help is essential during the holiday season but basic courtesy isn't a trate the store should have to teach. Maybe associates should be reminded to treat each guest as they would like to be treated and let their personality shine as bright as the day they were interviewed / hired for the position. As it ended up, after looking around we didn't make the exchange , we'll try the Cape Carteret store . *The associate we encountered had below the shoulder, thicker, dark hair that was parted down the middle. I'll end on a kind southern statement that speaks volumes : Bless her heart . . .
