I hadn't been down in 10 years and this place was just opened the last time I was down. These guys know their stuff, provided great deals for my cousin (who bought a great XCEL wetsuit) and myself. I ended up having a fin yank off my board and pulled the plugs with it. These guys had it fixed within a day's time, all sanded and holes epoxied flawlessly. Very cool of them to help me out like that on short vacation none-the-less. I would encourage anyone who vacations around the area or even in Wilmington to make the trip if you need good surf gear and great service.

If i were in San Diego or pulling into Haleiwa it's understandable...but Surf City? North Carolina? I was near insanity, but too close to the shop to turn around. With the infuriating anger building I decided they had one chance to get my business. And it was slim. And what happened? Great, comfortable, friendly customer service. No pressure sales. Two days later and I'm back ordering a board from them. It's a nice little shop with pretty much everything you would need. Be sure to check out the consignment section...saw a cosmetically beat but great condition Hawaii Pro Designs longboard sitting in the back, in addition to a variety of short boards in varying conditions with varying prices. George is awesome. Send him your business. I've stopped into most other "shops" in the area and been brushed off, leaving me feeling like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (minus the prostitution). Lesson to other shops in the area...don't judge a book by its cover - you just missed out on $2k in sales this time around (not to mention future business), as I'll never go back to your establishments.

The service was top notch. I came in Thursday and Friday to look for sandals for myself and a hat for my wife. I found the selection of items great. They carry what some big chains carry but they also have more. I ended up purchasing the comfiest pair of sandals I have ever had before. Freewaters Cloud 9 are amazing. For my wife the goal was a hat that would block the sun from her face and float. They carry Turtle Fur which accomplishes that! I am a very slow deliberate shopper but I found the customer service so great and the value for several items so good, I bought in store happily. Add to the fact that the store is easy to reach and this store is a must before the beach!

He was very helpful and patient as I am not the best hitter off of simulation machines. It took about 4 1/2 hours to do the full bag and he was as positive at the end as he was in the beginning. He kept me apprised of the status of the clubs as they were being built. The quality of the clubs is amazing and it has already improved my handicap by over five points. They also have a nice referral program, which was honored when I sent a friend in for a driver fitting in March. Michael is very good at fitting, customer service and follow up. Their program is super helpful as it allows you to come in after you get your clubs for additional insights on your swing and how the clubs are performing. They also will do any adjustments as needed. Highly recommend

No fault of anyones: I couldn't even determine the issue. Took it in today just wanting to be done with it, and Dillon went above and beyond - thorough inspection, entertained all my ideas and suggestions, helped me get a spare wheel and tire together, and even swapped the tires around after having already installed a new tube/tire for me because I wanted to try them on the original (troublesome) rim. Time will tell if the original rim will strike with a flat again, but I've got a whole spare wheel, new tubes, and experienced great service and value preparing for that contingency. It won't be the last time I visit TWD. Thanks Dillon!
