It's in an area which is not in the more touristy districts of Roma. When we went it was filled with locals and business people. They have an upscale modern motif and while having a main level and additional seating and bar area upstairs it still felt quaint. We arrived at 2pm and were able to be seated in the upstairs level, which at first I thought may have been due to the upscale nature of the place and our casual attire but ultimately it was only because they were busy downstairs. We found this place as a result of being disappointed with my original lunch destination choice which was coordinated so that we could eat and then walk over to the Borghese Gallery for our afternoon gallery entry reservation. I was concerned we wouldn't find anyplace appealing as we were walking around the area...and then we found Legami. What a pleasing experience. Great food and service and while often the 3-dollar sign establishments give portions far too small, these portions were appropriate if not generous. Food was fresh and flavorful. There were plenty of sushi, sashimi and roll options but also nice sushi and non-sushi based dishes. We really enjoyed everything about it and had I known about Legami in advance this would have been high on my list of options when looking for a good, non-Italian restaurant while in Rome.
