Food is great. Service is NOT. I order from here often and the lady there is always rude.

On our weekly rotation for dinner... or meal prep. Lol. Yogis has been here for as long as I can remember. Seems like it is a family owned / franchised location. Decent amount of tables inside. Clean establishment & fast service. Here's the BEST thing about Yogis: $3.99 California rolls on Mondays & Tuesdays. $5.99 Crunch rolls on Wednesdays & Thursdays. I mean, where in this economy can you even get food that cheap anymore? We also love their chicken, beef, & veggie bowl (Flame Broiler style). The large is plenty enough for me to split in 2-3 smaller containers as lunch for the week. Recently we tried the chicken katsu and that was delicious. We usually call in our order and pick it up on our way home from work. When we can't decide on what to eat, this is our default.

My absolute favorite spot to get poke! I have been coming here for many years and it's always consistently good. They have the best toppings and out such a good portion of everything. It very good value for money. The owner is very nice. Such a hidden gem in my opinion :)

Poké bowl by, not a sushi chef. Never again.

The guy who was fun is no longer there. The sushi chef who was there is no longer there. The owner works full-time, so there's zero ambience Worst ever poke bowl!!!! The Poké bowl was warm fish with regular oil, not spicy, like I ordered. There was no mayonnaise in the spicy mayonnaise sauce. Dude, if you have a sushi restaurant, do yourself a favor, and get a SUSHI Chef. (plus the prices doubled) NOPE!

That said, I'm not complaining: as a sushi spot in America that caters to Western tastes, this place hits. Some of my favorite rolls are the Bella, the Mission Viejo, and the Seared Tuna roll. One minor area for improvement is to-go orders. They seem to get very busy, and there could be better predictability around wait times. The order processing for peak hours (6pm on a Saturday) was about an hour, but on my most recent visit, my pickup order was delayed by about 30 minutes, pushing it to 90 minutes. It was frustrating for me, but I think it can be even more frustrating for Door Dash drivers since they're paid per delivery and long, unexpected waits can throw off their entire queue and earnings for the night. I do want to commend their customer service, though. They have always been great dining in, but this time, they could tell people were frustrated and genuinely tried to reshuffle orders and adjust priorities. Overall, improving order flow and wait-time forecasting would make a noticeable difference!

There are 2 big screens in the room. Tonight they were playing the World Baseball Classic. Women's restroom was clean - check! You get complimentary edamame upon being seated. Just 1 server handling all orders at the time we came in - a nice Korean lady, who at times seemed oblivious ie cleaning empty tables instead of giving us our check at the end of the meal when it was very apparent we were done. lol I looked for something on the menu that has unagi AND salmon but no dice so opted for dragon roll. My other half ordered #8 (forgot the name but it was good though I preferred my dragon roll more) but all in all our rolls came out delicious. Looking around, this place appears to be both a local spot and date spot from a few couples in the room. My wife, daughter, and I come here all the time and we seriously can't get enough. We've tried a bunch of different rolls, poke bowls, soups, sashimi, you name it! and everything is always on point. One of my favorites is the bento box. It's such a solid deal. You get a roll, salad, soup, rice and your choice of protein, and it always fills you up. Can't go wrong with it. Everything always tastes fresh, the flavors are consistent, and we've honestly never had a bad experience here. On top of that, it's always a good vibe inside. It took quite a while just to get water and place our order, even after asking the sushi chef (who was not happy to be asked). We ordered the cucumber salad, shrimp tempura, and soft shell crab to start. The cucumber salad was plain and lacked dressing, the tempura was decent, and the soft shell crab was tasty with a small side salad with sesame dressing that was actually the best part. For mains, we had two bento boxes -- one with chicken teriyaki and baked mussels, and the other with mackerel shioyaki and fried shrimp. The miso soup was solid, but the salad could've used more dressing. Overall, the food was okay, but the poor service really hurt the experience. This was our second visit, and unfortunately, I think it might be our last. It feels like dine-in guests take a back seat to the takeout business here.

My experience and meal was five star!…read moreThough, keep in mind that my five stars is based on dining here only once and not at peak hours. We arrived just after noon on a weekday. The restaurant wasn't busy and we were seated right away. The vibe inside was authentic feeling Japanese style, smallish with several tables and sushi bar seating. My chicken oyakodon was a bowl of cozy comfort to me. It was topped with two slices of yellow pickled daikon. I'm sure it was homemade daikon, not like what you get in a jar from Tokyo Central. We were served their delicious miso soup as a starter. My sister ordered beef teriyaki and tempura. She said it was good. The restaurant started filling up as we ate our meal. A good sign of good authentic Japanese is when you see a lot of Japanese/Asians filling up the place, especially older people (haha, like me), because you know they know well prepared authentic. And that's the crowd that was coming in. Located in a busy center with limited parking, it must get crazy busy later in the evening because the sign outside the entrance says where to form the line. Anyway, my oyakodon and miso soup was so good!

I had to call in my order (they are on Doordash but the prices are lower if you call). It would be nice if you could order through their website, but it's not a big deal. We got shrimp tempura, chicken katsu with a side of curry, and an Alaskan roll. The food was all delicious! My daughter could not get enough of the Alaskan roll. It's simple and classic, especially if you love salmon. The chicken katsu was really good and I enjoyed dipping it in the curry. They don't offer potatoes or carrots in their curry sauce like some other Japanese restaurants do, which was a small disappointment, but I still really liked the curry. It had that "spicy" but not spicy flavor that comes from all the flavorful spices like ginger that are in the curry, but it wasn't hot (we ordered mild). The chicken katsu was a good portion side and it came with a side of rice and angel hair shredded cabbage. Cabbage isn't the most exciting vegetable, but I'll take it. The shrimp tempura was great too. The takeout bag was packaged really nicely and the katsu came in a fancy little box, so even though we were eating at home it felt a little more upscale. But the prices were pretty on par with other sushi restaurants around here, so it's definitely affordable!

The cheese tonkotsu was honestly pretty heavy, lots lots of cheese. Honestly, I wouldn't get it again since I didn't feel like I got much meat simply because of how much cheese there was. I'm sure there was pork, it just felt like an extension of the breading. Every order off the main course section of the menu (fried things) come with miso soup, a side salad, and pickled side dishes that are extremely refreshing. Pork over Chicken for sure.
