They are so knowledgeable and just as importantly, willing to help. Other WE stores I have not gotten the same attitude or expertise. Then after buying our Andres extra long couch we decided we do indeed need the ottoman as well. Unfortunately the fabric and the legs were no longer available online. We took our problem to many WE stores and the associates were confused, they didn't have a solution for us and we couldn't buy the floor model that was our exact ottoman needed. We came tot his store in Burlington and the sale associate has no idea what the problem was and got us the exact ottoman in the exact fabric and leg finish we needed!! (Worn mental velvet and black and brass) its insanity bc we went to two other stores and the associate and managers were perplex how to get what we wanted. We came here and we took that ottoman in a box HOME, same day! Thanks so much for your help associate #378071!! And Craig who worked in back and helped find a way to squeeeeeeze the box into the car while our baby slept! Great store, great team!

Was looking for a gift for a kid. They have a small section upstairs but a lot of custom stuff. A few options I could have gone with but it was too pricey. I had seen something online hoping maybe the store had it but they did not. A lot of sales people upstairs felt like I couldn't really enjoy a browsing experience especially since I wasn't trying to invest in anything big. The prices are very high here and their clearance section isn't the greatest. Unfortunately couldn't find anything I wanted to purchase and wouldn't return. $45 for kids bathrobe. $30 for small dinosaur stuffy.

These stocked, displayed items amounted to $74, a fraction of the thousands I've spent at Crate and Barrel over the past year. The manager Sarah was especially rude and unhelpful, and while we planned to shop for different items, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

RETURN OF THE WALNUT PANCAKE…read more A couple of weeks ago, I bought a beautiful walnut dining table from Joss & Main. There was only one problem: it was enormous. I had somehow convinced myself that a 54-inch round table was exactly what I needed for mahjong. It wasn't. My friends were practically launching tiles across the table because nobody could reach the middle. By the end of our first game, one of my friends was actually uncomfortable from reaching. My gorgeous new table had become what I affectionately started calling the walnut pancake. It was beautiful, but it simply wasn't going to work. So I called Joss & Main, and eventually I reached Adele in the Specialized Supervisor department. That's where the story changed. Adele didn't just listen--she took ownership. She helped arrange the return and found a smaller, more rustic table that actually fits both the room and the ski-lodge feeling I've created in my home. She understood what I was trying to accomplish, and suddenly the conversation wasn't simply about returning furniture. It was about finding the right solution. Later, when the logistics became complicated, I connected with Tiffany, the Executive Manager on Wayfair's Executive Service team. We had a fascinating conversation about leadership, culture, customer experience, and what I call the last 50 yards--that critical point where everything a company has promised finally has to come together for the customer. Tiffany listened, engaged honestly, and stayed with the problem until it was resolved. And then came Marco and Nelson. "We're the Rebel Team," they told me when they arrived to pick up the table. I don't know whether they gave themselves that name or someone else did, but I loved it. They were charming, funny and kind. They played with my dog, chatted with me, found the tools they needed, carefully took apart my pristine walnut pancake, and made the final moments of the experience genuinely enjoyable. They reminded me of something I've believed throughout my career: everyone who touches the customer owns a piece of the brand. Sometimes the last people a customer sees leave the most lasting impression. Great companies aren't made great because nothing ever goes wrong. Things go wrong in every organization. What matters is what happens next. Wayfair and Joss & Main have some terrific people, and over the course of this experience I met several of them. Adele, Tiffany, Marco and Nelson each played a different role, but each demonstrated something worth recognizing: ownership, kindness, follow-through, and a desire to get to the right outcome. Those are the behaviors strong cultures identify, celebrate and reinforce. The last 50 yards matter--and when they're filled with people who care about getting the customer across the finish line, they can change the entire story.

It's nice to walk around and see things on display so you can visually picture it in your own home,…read moreetc. before having to commit to buying something online. I couldn't help but notice how beige, white, brown, or black everything was. Literally 0 pops of color. There was 1 green velvet material swivel chair, but other than that, all the couches, pillows, decor pieces, everything were so plain that the whole store was missing personality. I do appreciate the massive floor to ceiling windows so the natural light coming in was phenomenal and really added a nice ambiance to everything as you walk around. The staff was also very kind.

Came early enough to enjoy Breakfast here and it was fresh, hot, and worth the $2.49 plus free…read morecoffee with IKEA card! Decided to shop around and as usually our cart got totally FULL! The reason I did not give 5 Stars is we picked up an item and there were none in a box only the display! We took the display to AS IS and was helped by MATT, very nice and very helpful told us that he needed to find someone in The area we found it to get approved or a paper to say to sell it as display. We went back and truly looked for ANY EMPLOYEE ON THE FLOOR AND LOOKED AND LOOKED! Finally we found someone who said he would contact someone and after several minutes this young Dark Hair Gentleman who I found out later was known to Matt in AS IS! Well that employee was very unhelpful even condescending by pointing to the Skew saying that's the price but we said there is no other and this was display like he did not want to hear that! Again he used his finger and pointed and touched the skew as we help it and said that's the price! We put it back, shopped for 2 minutes and said.... Let's take it back to AS IS AND WE DID! Mentioned that that employee was very condescending and kept pointing to the skew on the back and walked away! Well, AS IS SAID " HE KNOWS HIS SUPERVISOR AND WHO IT WAS"! Very apologetic that we experienced really unfortunate customer service that he helped us and said that's he will sell it as Display and printed out a yellow sticker for it plus giving us a heads up where would we like the sticker cause once on its very hard to remove it so we said on the back! THIS IS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am very impressed that he took time to help us but also he made a sale! Now, for future shopping I have faith that whoever that Supervisor of that young man who was NOT THE TYPE OF EMPLOYEE TO REPRESENT IKEA! He will rectify or instruct that employee at better customer service! I hope that MATT KNOWS THAT HE TRULY KNOWS HOW TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS AND HAS GREAT COMMON SCENSE! THANK YOU! For future customers that shop there, If you have a question or concern and you did not get the respect or support in getting help or assistance, THEN SEEK OTHER STAFF, till your satisfied! IKEA SHOULD PRAISE THAT GENTLEMAN IN, AS IS!!!! Thank you!

What they don't explain to you during purchase is that the installers are not vetted contractors who don't understand plans, don't allow you to take photos of their poor work quality during installation, will hide cracks in cabinets they cause, and then will ask for hundreds of dollars as a tip and to remove boxes. Customer service is lacking from ikea. I have been dealing with a kitchen that is only 50% usable due to installation for 6 months and ikea stopped responding 4 months ago. A case has been filed with the MA AG office due to this. If you have a similar experience, you can join that case file.
