I first joined Sipra's studio last year on a groupon deal. I've been hooked ever since! I attend once a week, and although I know I would get even better results coming more, I still feel that it really impacts my life. I have been coming to Sipra's yoga classes for a few months. What I really love is the relaxed atmosphere, her interest in each person as an individual, and that each class is tailored to the people in attendance. There is a varied schedule that anyone should be able to fit into their life. Sipra has each person introduce themself and what they are having problems with or would like to focus on. Throughout the class you can tell that she listened and changes the poses accordingly. She is also excellent about remembering names and giving you personal feedback. The only thing I wish is that I could go more often but my family and work schedule prohibit that! I've been going to Yoga Well Being for almost a year and a half and taking yoga off and on for many years. This studio and Sipra's classes are unlike any other I've taken. You leave her classes feeling so great that this is the first time I've taken yoga consistently for over a year. Each class is unique and formed around your needs for the day. Sometimes my lower back gets tight, so if I mention that then Sipra will do something in the class to focus on making space in the back. I've also noticed that I sleep better, have more energy, and have a healthier outlook on everyday and life events. Yoga Well Being also moved studios a few months ago, and I must say that this is a huge and wonderful upgrade! The membership includes more classes with additional yoga teachers (who are all wonderful as well!) and things like zumba, modern dance and strength training. You must try 3 classes to begin. With just one, you will still be getting used to things... after the third you'll be hooked! Unfortunately I'll be moving out of state in a few weeks, but this is one of the very few places that is irreplaceable to Columbus! read more

I have been attending Sipra's Well being Yoga class for about 8 months. She and the class are absolutely wonderful!!! Her in depth knowledge of yoga and general health are truly amazing. I feel rejuvenated both body and mind after attending her class. She has such a way of drawing you in to concentrate on living in the now moment and being aware of where you are this moment in time. Her vast knowledge allows her to tailor each class to her students current needs. I should mention I am 7 months pregnant and she is able to giver modification moves to include me in the class. Only up until these last weeks have classes become to difficult for me to attend (I have full intention on getting back in the studio post baby, and continue to use many of her moves at home at my own pace). For an instructor to be able to have advanced students and pregnant students in one class and meet the needs of each individual says a lot on her ability as an instructor. I've been to many different yoga classes over the years. Yoga Well Being is just exactly what I've been looking for. Every class is different, and Sipra asks each of us what we are working on at the beginning of class. She then builds the class with us in mind. I joined Yoga Well Being about two years ago, have become a regular member, and have had nothing but great experiences! As a distance runner, I sought out a yoga for the many flexibility and strength benefits. Yoga has become a regular practice for me since, and not only have I avoided many of the nagging injuries runners suffer while drastically improving my form and speed, but I have found a new source of calm and balance in my life. Of particular note are Sipra's classes. She takes the time at the beginning of every class to check in with you physical and mental wellbeing and proceeds to tailor the poses and flow of the class to everyone's specific issues for the day. Each class is unique and often challenges your practice, allowing for much growth if you stick with it. Highly recommended. Replying to the review of Lucas S. I believe he is referring to the Athlete's Stretch workshop help at the end of October prior to the Columbus Marathon which I also attended. That class was indeed a workshop for which normal class passes do not apply, it carries a cost of $25. Information for workshops are always quite clear on the website. Lucas must not have done his due diligence before attending the workshop and is instead blaming his lack of responsibility on the company which is not very classy my friend. Sipra and all of the instructors I have interacted with are extremely kind people, it would be a mistake to rely on the words of those who have only attended one sessions without getting to know people personally. read more

I bought a Groupon package to this place a little over a year ago, and I was way nervous because I hadn't done yoga in a while and my previous experiences with yoga made me feel totally incapable of ever making it through a class without ending up in child's pose for the last half hour praying for a swift death. This place is totally different! Sipra's flagship class is amazing, and truly every class is different. Each person gets a chance to speak at the beginning of class and she tailors each class to work on what everyone wants to work on, be it a sore low back or anxiety. She focuses on the practice of yoga as a whole-being experience, not just a workout. The classes leave me feeling emotionally and physically invigorating and have helped me with physical issues as well as managing stress and anxiety. There is NOBODY who wouldn't be able to benefit from these classes, my only regret is that I don't have time to make it to more classes every week. Definitely definitely definitely worth a try for anyone, regardless of experience. There are people from all skill levels in each class, and there are people in the classes with any variety of injuries or disabilities, and Sipra is able to accommodate everyone. I got a deal from Groupon and I have been to several yoga studios. In this one, there was no reception or anyone asking me about the class number. The owner is a very demanding old woman who thinks she is always right. She also likes to order people around in a very bossy tone which made me extremely uncomfortable. She also made a mistake about the my records but I did everything they required. But she constantly blamed me that I did not show them enough info. When she finally realized it was her or their mistake, she got very impatient saying she did not know how to change it in the system. Also she complained they are not making money from the groupon and wanted to charge me for extra $25 for that day's class which she later said it was a workshop, not a class. Why would I be there if it is $25? She just waited until it was over to rip people off. Also, she showed strong favoritism to regulars. She asked my name five times in a condescending way. Again, very rude and bossy attitude. It was a terrible experience and I felt I was disrespected after this exprience. I would absolutely NOT recommend new people to go somewhere else. read more

I've been attending classes at Yoga Well-Being for years and can't recommend it enough. Each class is different and Sipra carefully tailors them to the individual needs of whoever is there that day. Regardless of the individual poses, the entire process is a perfect combination of challenging and restorative. Indeed, I always leave these unique practices feeling pushed, stretched, and above all, renewed. When I've been in Columbus long enough to go regularly, I see enormous benefits in both mind and body. Specifically, I have had foot problems for years that doctors told me I could either live with or deal with using surgery; two bad options. Regularly practicing with Sipra put an end to those. I don't know how, but some of those strange postures she bends us into healed my Achilles and fascia!
