Best yoga studio on island! No better place that supports community and fitness together! Been a longtime member with no regrets!

Love it here :) welcoming staff and makes me feel good when they remember my name!! A lot of variety and class times are diverse

Yoga Room has amazing staff and a huge library of online yoga classes that they update daily for their library. I find myself doing a ton of On-Demand yoga at your own convenience which is great when you want to do things catered to your schedule. I also do enjoy the live virtual classes as well! Being on camera does give you motivation as if you're working out with your fellow yogis on stream and in-studio. Definitely a great yoga studio that I notice is very popular for its yoga sculpt classes which emphasizes flow, cardio, and weights. read more

Amazing studio with great staff and variety. Classes all day everyday. Instructors are experienced and knowledgeable. Very kind staff. Shout out to Lauren for making me feel more than welcome on my first visit. She is an amazing instructor who brings positivity, energy, and passion. I would highly recommend taking her sculpt classes. I read the reviews that are less than 5 stars and they don't really make sense. I've been to multiple different yoga studios in over 25 years of practicing and this studio easily deserves 5 stars! read more

Have now taken sculpt, vinyasa 2 and yin restore and can easily say I love Yoga Room Hawaii! Classes are so well taught. Sculpt is taught in a warm environment and perfectly blends building flexibility through yoga with strengthening with weights. I've taken sculpt classes before the lean too much towards straight strength classes and I felt like this one was the perfect medium. Challenging but still built upon gaining flexibility. Vinyasa 2 is also taught in a warm environment. Prepare to sweat. I enjoyed that poses were also challenging and allowed for variations. Need to focus on cooling down and clearing stress, yin restore is perfect. I loved that the instructor talked about how not each pose is meant to be comfortable but it's a dull pain not a sharp that helps to stretch into different parts of the body. There are multiple studio spaces as well as bathroom/locker rooms with showers. You do have to pay for parking in the area so take that into consideration, but this is a great spot to unwind and focus on you! read more

We made it--one full year with Yoga Room Hawaii, and what an incredible journey it's been! When we first started on Mother's Day 2024, admittedly, we had some preconceived notions: that hot yoga would smell bad, that we'd feel out of place, or be forced into something uncomfortable or judgmental. But all of that disappeared after just a few weeks. What we found instead was a welcoming, inspiring space filled with encouragement, growth, and positivity. A huge shoutout to all the amazing 6am and weekend morning instructors! Your dedication, guidance, energy & fun have been a big part of our journey. We've now completed over 250 classes each--and as a couple doing this together, it's become one of the most meaningful parts of our day. A time to reset, breathe and get our minds & bodies right. Yoga Sculpt has become our favorite for full-body strength and conditioning but we also love the deeper focus on movement & breath, through HPF & 26/2. At first, we were in awe watching others move so effortlessly, but we've come to embrace the reminder that everyone's path is different. And over time, we've seen real change: we're more flexible (both in mind & body), stronger and with better endurance--and yes, we've lost those extra pounds too! We drive in from Aiea to Kaimuki most mornings at 5:20am which might sound crazy to some, but it's become a natural and worthwhile part of our lifestyle. If you're thinking about trying yoga--even if you feel "too old" like we did--just go for it! Yoga Room Hawaii makes it possible, and we're so grateful for this space and community. Thank you for everything, Yoga Room Hawaii. Here's to many more years ahead! Aloha, Steve & Stacy read more

I've lived on Oahu for 9 months now. And for 5 of them had no idea about this studio. If you're a yoga-you know finding a studio with the right vibe is relatively difficult. I am so grateful for this place to continue my favorite practice. There are many different classes everyday to choose from for a fast paced burn to a slower paced yin yoga class. Love yoga room, especially their 26/2 classes. Noelle, Fran, and Sarah read more

Awesome studio and staff, multiple classes daily, clean, and positive vibes...no wonder #1 rated yoga studio year after year....

Extremely well run hot yoga studio with a robust online booking system. The first week is free if you're a HI resident - I just finished my week and it was a positive experience! Every instructor I've encountered so far is encouraging, positive, and gifted in their own unique ways. I especially enjoyed Paula O's Yin Restore class where she shared some of her expertise in lunar cycles and manifestation of dreams. Naomi's Vinyasa Flow 2 is fast paced and energetic. It was a bit challenging for me, but with practice I think I can get better at the poses. The facilities are great. Parking is easy. There are lockers (bring your own lock) and showers. You can rent yoga mats for a fee. Sanitized blocks, straps and pillows are free to use. Mat cleaning sprays available for purchase, along with some other essentials. They have a great tasting water station you can use to refill your bottles. The patrons during the day are on the younger side, and also give off good vibes. I am on the older side - in my 40's - but I felt welcomed and at home here. Their breathwork class run by Eric Russo is simply amazing. It was a "trip" - a healing inner journey that took my mind into deep places.... I had a long cathartic sob during it and got a lot of direction on how I want to live my life. I highly recommend it. He has such a loving, accepting and nurturing energy. I highly recommend this yoga studio! They really help connect your mind body and spirit so they are in sync. read more

OK. I live in Hawaii Kai and drive to Kaimuki for Yoga. At first, I thought ,7.2-mile drive, hmmm. So, I left my comfort zone and never looked back. Instructors are professional, clean facility, so many class offerings and showers. FIVE STARS read more

This place is clean and very spacious. During the pandemic there is only 4 to a class. As a beginner yogi, all the instructors were very personable and knowledgeable. Lisa and Rachel are my favorite instructors so far. The have a 7 day unlimited class trial which I'm taking full advantage of. I am planning to join after my trial is over. read more

Leadership makes or breaks a company. That being said, the classes at Yoga Room Hawaii are heated (depending on the class) and can be quite crowded (depending on day and time of day). Think about most gyms after work. Big crowds = frustration. Given the conditions during the most crowded classes I've been to, I've still encountered some very kind fellow students and I attribute this to the teachers who run the classes. The studio is conveniently located in an automated, open parking lot on 12th avenue. The cost does add up. 1.5 hours will cost about $3.00 to park. I love that they have a locker room and shower. It makes attending a 6:00 AM easy because you can shower and rush off to work. I like that they offer one week for free to try the studio before committing. They give a discount if you're a student or a teacher. The teachers have been fantastic! I especially enjoyed Jimmy's Om Hot 26/2, which is a fast-paced moving mediation. It takes a bit to get used to, but once you're in the flow, Jimmy keeps you grounded and encouraged in a judgment-free environment. The part I struggle most with is the cost. I am a mental health provider in a medical setting, who relies on yoga for my own mental health just so I can continue to provide quality care to my patients. Teachers are valued for their service and given a discount on membership (and rightfully so), but licensed clinical mental health workers and other front line medical workers are not (there are other studios in the area that do give this discount). This is particularly disheartening in a time when mental illnesses like depression and anxiety are up, along with domestic violence. I have mixed feelings about the heat. I do know my muscles are more limber in the heat, but it's so hot, sometimes it's difficult to breath. I also worry the heat creates the ideal environment for bacteria and viruses. However, I feel the studio does its best to keep things clean. If you're a former Core Power yogi, this place is very much cut from the same cloth in the commercialized feel - a couple of the teachers are also from Core Power. However, the kind, knowledgeable teachers make all the difference. I'd highly recommend giving this studio a try if you want to build your yoga experiences. read more

You want a good work out? A fun yet challenging one? Come here!! When I joined I didn't know what I was getting myself into, this is no ordinary yoga.. it's BIKRAM yoga! Majority of the classes are heated from about 80 to 100s. It's not easy but the instructors give so much support, they even remember you by your name and the community itself are so welcoming and friendly it makes you want to come back. I can say ever since I joined I've been addicted and have been coming here almost everyday! read more

The yoga instructor Keala was very welcoming and even though I join the wrong class, she welcomed me and made me feel comfortable. Keala voice was very relaxing and I remember her saying, " Take a deep breathe, close your eyes, write a love letter to yourself and exhale. " I needed that. read more

Began my yoga journey about 5 years ago at Core Power Yoga and have tried multiple studios on island before coming to YRH this year. Without a doubt YRH is my favorite studio because of the amazing teachers, variety of classes and the amazing prices!! The classes: I mainly take Yoga Sculpt, but have recently committed to taking Vinyasa level 2 classes + Hot Power Fusion once a week as well. I love the upbeat tempo and strength building aspects of Yoga Sculpt. Vinyasa and HPF push me to increase my flexibility + balance. Love that YRH provides a variety of classes to allow people to have a balanced workout schedule each week! The staff: Every instructor that I've met has been super friendly + knowledgeable about their practice. I especially love Tiana H. + her father Max H. because they make the effort to remember everyone's name, which helps the community to feel like a family! The studio: Very clean and spacious! Even though classes are sometimes only 15min apart, the studio support staff cleans the floors very well so that there isn't sweat everywhere! And somehow it NEVER smells bad in the studio even though we all sweat so much lol...thank god! The prices: SUCH A GOOD DEAL. Since I'm an educator, I have a discounted monthly membership, but even the normal membership price is a really good deal compared to some other studios. They also offer a FREE WEEK to new clients, so why not try it! You won't be disappointed. :) read more

High quality instructors, great facilities, nice showers. What's not to like? I'm hooked

Mahalo Yoga Room Hawaii and Naomi for a cool collab session with Yelp,! Loved Naomi's voice and flow,,, thanks again!

such a great experience!!! you check in at the front desk for the class you signed up for and they have mats you can rent for $2.00. they also have yoga blocks and weights for everyone to borrow for free. i did a 60 minute hot yoga class and it was hard but super rewarding. the room was nice and big, not too busy, and had big mirrors. the instructor was encouraging and had a great routine. if you are doing a hot yoga class i definitely recommend to bring a microfiber towel to put over your yoga mat and a face towel. there are bathrooms and showers which was very clean. there is also an area to leave your slippers/footwear. i am doing a free one week trial and trying to soak it all in because it is such a good workout. read more

I would 100% give this place five stars except for the fact they definitely won't put a 26 posture class seven days a week at any one specific time even though they have the rooms,, you get the feeling that the owners would like to see 26 posture class disappear, like the plague,,, this place caters more to Vinyasa and Zumba sculpt or whatever you wanna call it we need to be thankful they even allow a 26 posture class for all. I know it brings back bad memories to them that's all I can imagine.,, they forget that 26 posture class is the gateway drug to all the other yoga styles that people are getting into.. read more

Definitely a true "hot yoga" studio! The temperature is maintained where it should be. I've attended 6 classes so far with Trilogy yoga and it has kick started my metabolism. I've lost 14 lbs. Very, Very clean , we'll maintained studio. They even provide you with great tasting filtered water that's better than anything you can buy in a store. The entire space is newly renovated and have been open for a few months now. I highly recommend going to try out for their free week and if you like it (which you definitely will) their prices for monthly membership are super affordable! I've loved every instructor ive gone to and the community is so awesome I would never wanna practice anywhere else. If you don't feel like practicing in person, they offer a cheaper Zoom option which is great because sometimes you dont feel like going all the way to the studio but you still get the same vibe as doing it in person because its live. If you wanna keep up to date with everything happening in studio, follow their instagram!! read more

Absolutely love the staff and practitioners here. The heated classes always make me feel so wonderful and we are so blessed to practice with the natural humidity of the Hawaiian Islands. The newly renovated floors and bathroom are a huge plus to the ambiance this beautiful, light, accommodating studio. Great studio, lots of class times and styles of yoga to choose from, sooo many great teachers. I typically go for the bikram yoga classes--my favorite teachers are Rickie, Tomoko and Brent--but I've also tried some of the non-heated classes and they were awesome. Great workout every time. Facilities are always clean; showers and lockers available in the locker room. If you're traveling or just forget your mat or towel, you can rent those there. Staff is helpful and friendly. I usually pay $1-$3 for parking. Love this studio. I've been coming here, off and on, for years. Feels like home. read more

Awesome! If you've not tried, give it a go and I NEVER regret it! Look out for specials and pass package deals too. I move around a bunch of different yoga studios and this one just gets better each and every year! The gym has come and gone, and spaces better utilized and better designed. Bathrooms are upgraded, and now even have shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash and deodorant. They just took over another adjacent yoga studio - the CHILL space - which is across in a different location from the mothership original so be careful of that (when rushing to class like I do!). A little late for New Years resolution, but a permanent resolution is FAR better!!! Namaste & Mahalo Trilogy Team! read more

The best local yoga studio on island. My second family. Truly no place like OM. I've found my sense of belonging, my enchantment, confidence, and passion at this space. The studio is BIG. Two studios. Actually a third for workshops too! The staff keeps em clean. The teachers are so sweet and make you smile. Mat + towel rentals available. Infrared heat, locker rooms, showers, parking, retail, and more. Doesn't feel like I'm going to workout or yoga but rather reconnect with myself and let go of the day's worries. Everyone is accepting and nonjudgmental. The classes are diverse with a wide range of age groups. Many walks of life you wouldn't come across if not coming to yoga! Love YRH!!! read more

I found this studio after frantically searching for something similar to my home studio in Miami. A quick google search from the mainland pointed me in the right direction and when I moved to Oahu, I signed up within a week. I don't live too close but after one Inferno Hot Pilates class I was HOOKED. Treated myself to a year membership and I definitely made the right decision. The schedule is perfect and the teachers are all pretty amazing. I've made some great friends and have a routine that's really helped me get into my best mental and physical shape. The heated studio is phenomenal -- clean, organized and yet very comfortable. I've recommended YR to everyone and I'm super glad to have found this community! read more

The best yoga sculpt class I have ever taken! I will definitely be back. Thank you:)

So I just started using this studio because they are offering a great deal of unlimited classes for $39. I found this as a great opportunity to try Bikram for the first time. I've tried Sun Yoga, Corepower, and Power so I was open to experiencing a new studio and type of yoga. Personally, I realize Bikram isn't my favorite but I do enjoy the challenge and the heated studio to sweat everything out. The reason I decided to write a review on this studio is to note what happened to me at my most recent class. Last week, I attended a Hot Yoga 60 class with the substitute teacher, Brent. When the class began with warm-up, he specifically called me out in the class and asked if I had done yoga before. Granted, I was taking a little longer adjusting to all the other Bikram veterans who didn't need to hear his direction before changing positions and whatnot. The entire room was packed and everyone was looking at me so I was undoubtedly nervous with so many eyes on me. I simply nodded and then he went on to ask me in front of the class "Do you speak english?" Not only did I find this OFFENSIVE but I also found it extremely rude and ill-mannered of him to ask me especially in a public display. I personally hate being put on the spot or as the center of a room so this spiked my anxiety even more. As a 4th generation local Asian-American, I couldn't believe my yoga teacher had spoken those words without any self-revelation on how wrong he was. I had to fight the urge to retaliate at him but I think that type of attitude and racism shouldn't be in the yoga studio, a place for inclusivity and non-judgment. read more
