I took Maka's class and honestly... WOW!. It's rare that I leave a CorePower class feeling like every element landed, but this one absolutely did. The music was intentional and perfectly paired with the flow, the sequencing was divine, and her confidence and deep know-how were evident from start to finish. Her cueing was clear, grounded, and supportive--you could tell she truly understands the body and how to guide people through a strong, intelligent practice. You can always tell when a teacher genuinely has passion for what they do; that love was evident in every part of this class--from the way it was structured to the energy she held in the room. I left feeling strong, and genuinely energized, with a great workout that was thoughtful. It's not often I find a CorePower teacher where all facets of the class are this on point. I have to drive an hour to get to this studio--and if Maka taught every day, I'd make that drive every single time. Truly exceptional. read more

Disappointed with my most recent visit at CorePower Yoga (Ward location). Kelda canceled her class last minute, but unlike other canceled classes, this one was not blocked off in the app, so I was still able to book it. Went out of my way to make it there, booked the 6:45pm class at 6:30pm, and arrived at the studio only to be turned away because the instructor wasn't there. I understand that things happen, but the lack of communication and app updates was very inconvenient and a waste of my time. Please do better with notifying students and managing class cancellations. read more

I love corepower and I am a consistent participant at the Kapolei location. You expect to be greeted with a warm and kind receptionist as it is a yoga studio. However once we checked in I overheard the receptionist talk about my good friend Nadia stating that she knows where she works and such (she is a server at a restaurant near by) My feedback is to number one NEVER speak about a customer behind their back especially if WE CAN STILL HEAR YOU! It went from a nice excited energy to us having high school mean girl flashbacks The date was Aug 22nd at 12pm whoever was working that desk do better to make people feel welcomed and grow out of talking about people behind their back. Great yoga sculpt class but I will most likely not be returning to this location. read more

This place is pretty awesome! Classes in last couple months have been pretty packed, so this place has really recovered from covid imo. I've only come for the. 6am morning classes b/c of scheduling and to avoid traffic. Studio is great, with two healthy sized rooms for your hot yoga practice. Rooms can be on the warmer side. Instructors for the C2 classes all have been pretty solid and friendly, so def a recommend. The instructors have solid experience and expect the cash flows to feel more personalized and potentially challenging. I'm personally not big into inversions, so I usually skip them every time. The center has a pretty big parking garage, but sure it can still get busy at peek times. Ive been taking CP classes for last 3 years, across many cities in the US. Overall this location is really solid, teachers are a cut above. Im a fan! read more

Very competitive very fast very corporate and they don't do refunds. Not friendly intimidating and against the original principles of Yoga like peace meditation unity They have attitude are unhelpful and not beginner friendly it's like Walmart Yoga and Golds Gym Yoga and then they throw in some crow poses and say Namaste and pretend to be spiritual. I write this (long) review with love of CPY Ward and hope it can spark some changes for the better! I have been a member and frequent to Ward for over 8 years until recently, and it used to be the ELITE studio. A few points to focus on from the past 2-3 years of issues: 1. THE HEAT. They do not turn the heat up. Kahala too. There are maybe THREE total teachers I have experienced that actually utilize the heat and make the classes HOT. HPF is supposed to be around 101-103 degrees, C2 at 98... The classes are HOT YOGA and the heat is sitting at 90-92 degrees tops in 9 out of 10 of these classes. Theresa is one of the ONLY ones who will push the heat up and really makes the classes feel worthwhile. Jade, Gio, Natalie pump the heat up too and have a fun and challenging flow and good energy, and these instructors' classes are FULL almost all of the time. People come for the sweat, it shows. Pre-Covid, the heat would be BLASTED for C2 at 100 degrees and HPF at at least 103, all the teachers had challenging but also a great Vinyasa flow, and the classes would be consistently PACKED. I don't know what happened. I've tried again and again hoping it would change back but never did. 2. I have noticed such a drop off and have talked with many members who have complained of this heat issue too, and it shows in the class numbers. For over $30 per class, when you are paying for a hot yoga class and not actually getting HOT yoga it's super disappointing and not worth the cost. I understand inclusivity for all, but then why not offer more HPF or C1 classes? Those are virtually nonexistent on the schedule. This isn't a regular non heated yoga studio, this is what makes CPY unique (or used to) which is why it became bothersome! Plus, when the heat is broken at Ward (which is often), they do not disclose that on the schedule. Then you come into a cold HPF class, which is honestly not cool, and that lack of transparency made me lose my loyalty. 2. The studios used to be pristine and have lost their luster honestly. You can see the dust clusters all over the vents on the ceilings and the walls, and the mirrors are grimy. I understand you've probably lost cleaners since Covid, but it just adds to that overall "worth the cost" aspect of it all. 3. Ending on a positive note, I love CPY Ward and most of the teachers care about their classes and bring a positive energy which is super refreshing. I would definitely return to CPY if more of the teachers used the heat more. I think a lot of other people would come back too. I want to see Ward bring it back! I love it there and at its peak it was truly one of the best places to practice and get an amazing workout intertwined within your yoga flow. read more

Powerful instructors and a lovely front desk coordinator who was very helpful to me as an out of state visitor (and current CPY teacher) from Minnesota. The Ward location has a variety of classes available for all levels and a super sweet Ward Wall which gives the bio's of all the instructors. So cute! I took yoga sculpt and C2 with instructors Natalie and Theresa. Both teachers had their own style and energy. The large studio has some funky blue lights for yoga sculpt which I had never seen before but added to the party element of class with a large standing speaker to push forward with energetic beats. While not a super large building, the entire space from the locker rooms, studios and front desk was very clean. Lastly, the location is great as it's next to a T.J. Maxx and South Shore Market which carries delicious food spots such as coffee, smoothies and various trinket stores. I'm conflicted on my review. The yoga studio was clean and spacious. It had two studios. My only complaint about the studios themselves were that I HATE hot yoga and they didn't use air conditioning in the studios, so if you had a class scheduled right after a hot yoga class, you were in a sauna of a studio. Four stars. I'm giving the one star review because of the membership policies. I signed up for a discounted first month after checking with the staff in studio to see if I could pause the membership due to a surgery that I had scheduled. I was told that you could freeze the membership for a period of one month at a fee of 15 dollars. This was all good so I signed up. Two weeks went by and it was time for my surgery so I went to freeze the membership. The staff in the studio told me they could not do it for me and that I could do it in the app. Perfect, I check my app and there's no option to freeze. In studio staff told me that I would need to contact customer service. I contacted customer service and they told me that they would not pause a discounted monthly membership (despite what I was told in-studio) and theypointed me to the terms of service. I ACTUALLY read the ToS and it said that the ability to pause the membership was dictated by the All Access Membership ToS, which DOES allow a membership freeze. I explained to the customer service representative that I was told that I could pause the membership by in-studio staff and that the ToS state that the intro month could be paused. I explained that I only used 2 weeks of my intro month before having surgery and was looking forward to continuing my membership after I recovered from surgery. The response was that they do not offer a membership freeze on (slightly) discounted intro months, despite my evidence to the contrary that the terms should allow it. I asked them to show me where their terms and conditions state that an intro month cannot be paused and asked them to reconsider in light of what the in-studio staff told me. They never responded so I filed a chargeback with my CC company. read more

I'm not a yoga fan but this spot has made me fall in love with yoga especially my favorite class Hot Yoga. If your looking for a great work out that will make you sweat, challenge you, build flexibility this is the spot. Update 7/6/20: I was given a stern warning about posting photos on Yelp by the studio manager. She followed me around the studio to make sure I didn't take any photos . The corporate office also eventually cancelled my membership without warning, in order to avoid updated reviews (such as this one ). I have since found a wonderful studio in my neighborhood that is PERFECT during Covid. It is enclosed but they keep a wall of windows open, keep doors open, require masks at all times, cheaper than CPY, have air filters positioned throughout the studio, and have markings on the floor to indicate the 6 feet of distance necessary to optimize safety. I am much happier with this move. The instructors are much more knowledgeable and provide a variety of creative flows and classes. If you'd like to know the name of this studio, feel free to message me! I've updated my reviews of this studio several times, as I'm continuously hopeful that conditions for yogis (including myself) experiencing this studio will improve. My reviews have yielded a handful of telephone calls from studio managers and messages via Yelp, which suggest that CPY's local managers may have a genuine interest in helping improve the company. It is with deep regret that I admit, things have remained mostly status quo. Unfortunately, I believe there are instructors who truly take on the role because they wholeheartedly believe in the practice; however, many of them, in addition to the managers, have likely come up against a wall of a corporation. I've made several suggestions for capping the attendance at some of the sculpt classes, as these classes have been dangerously overloaded with yogis. I intentionally arrive 35 - 40 minutes early just to get a spot, only to be pushed out by others who come later and cut ahead, or those who lay mats down in the studio to save spaces for their friend(s) coming later. Most times, the space between mats is approximately 4 inches, if I'm lucky, 6. At other times, my mat has been as close as ONE inch to the person next to me. There is often someone practicing right in front of the exit/entrance door to the studio, making it difficult to leave, should an emergency arise. Black tag membership used to be $100/month for unlimited classes. Showers, locker rooms, sanitary wipes for your mat and weights, and toiletries were provided. Membership, as of late, has increased to $189/month for unlimited classes, showers, locker room, and toiletries. They've done away with the wipes, increasing the chances of bacterial infection in a toasty, Petri dish of a yoga studio, where bacteria partaaayyyyy...especially with all those sweaty bodies dripping and hands touching the weights. I traveled to Honolulu for a brief vacation. Today, I took a Hot Fusion class with Leah, who is a badass! I love to do different studios when I travel - not gonna lie, CP was not on my top list, but the times worked best for me. I know at CP, you'll get a good basic flow, but I was not expecting the energy. It's almost an SNL skit when you walk into some studios, and the staff is about as nice as a paper cut between the fingers, but the staff at the Ward CP location were super friendly and actually smiled, and I was made to feel very welcome. I guess that's what they mean by Aloha. If you are ever in Honolulu, take Leah's class. read more

Practicing online just wasn't the same so I'm so happy to be back in the studio. This location is my favorite on island because it's always clean and so conveniently located (park in ward village, super easy). Staff are friendly and welcoming, which makes the transition back to in-person yoga much easier. As with any yoga studio, you should definitely use the two free weeks to take lots of different classes to find an instructor and style that you vibe with. I took plenty of great classes before I found Mary, who happens to be my personal fave but all the instructors are great. read more

I came here with my sister last week to try it out for one week free. I went to 4 classes that week. Yoga sculpt has now become my life! I have only done yoga sculpt classes and love it! It is a mixture of cardio, weight lifting, and core. It is high heat and added humidity. It is high energy and you are dancing while you're working out. It is a lot of fun! It is very fast paced and you are constantly moving. There is no time for an extended break, but feel free to stop if needed. You sweat more than anything in this class and come out feeling accomplished! The studio itself is very nice because it is newer. It is located in the south shore marketplace facing the park. It is right next to scratch kitchen and meatery. You must come early (an hour for the good teachers) and 30 minutes for others. There are mats and towels for rent. They also sell yoga attire and essentials in the studio. Don't be surprised if you come early and the doors are locked. They don't open them until 30 minutes prior to the start of the class. There are showers and locker rooms for your use. However you must bring your own lock if you want to use the lockers. There are different memberships that you can sign up for. I did the black tag membership because you can come as many times as you want! I come at least 3-4 times a week, so I get the most for my money. You will also see the most results the more often you come. Give the one week free trial a try and if you like it you can sign up! I'm hooked!! read more

I have been coming here while I am visiting for work. I am grateful to have a location so close so I can keep up my practice. I am a regular at both Sculpt and C2 and will continue to go just to stay active. I am not a big fan of this location here is a few of the reasons why. Sculpt 1. Class is always overcrowded 2. Music is too loud and distracting, cannot hear instructors 3. Instructors are a bit excessive and rarely participate in the exercises, most are out of shape and should take some of their own medicine C2 1. Some instructors are super engaged and amazing and some are really just going through the motions and not even trying. I noticed almost every class has people in it regardless of who is teaching and the quality of the class so I am guessing as long as people keep coming the quality will not improve. I am glad I started where I did and have the teachers I have (supportive, encouraging and dialed into the students) If I were here permanently and not a member of CPY I would seek my training elsewhere. read more

Membership was nearly impossible to cancel- but got email confirmation in March 2023 that it was cancelled and I was supposed to get 3 full months of membership refunded to my card- they only refunded ONE month and then in May turned my membership back on WITHOUT permission and have been charging me ever since!!!!!!! I have been charged every month since May, 2023- and have not ONE TIME even so much have stepped foot in this studio. Terrible experience and terrible customer service and support. read more

This isn't my usual Core Power yoga studio but I often go if they have the class I want to go to! What I love about it is that it has two studios so they have more classes going on daily. They also have yoga merchandise, although there seems like there was less than the Kahala location. I really like the instructors here and some overlap with the Kahala location. Long over due review. Ok.....I am a-d-d-i-c-t-e-d! I started with my 2 weeks free given to me by one of my best friends Elise that's been a black member for years. This was in August. I am an avid runner and have been experiencing running pains in my hips and knees. No pains since switching to yoga. After 2 years of Elise inviting me to yoga, I finally took the time to visit the studio.....it was the best workout decision I have ever made. CPY has 3 locations Oahu: Ward, Kahala and Kailua. There is something for everyone! Other reviews have listed the temperatures in each class, basically the heat is between 80 to around 100 degrees.....not as hot as Bikram. More traditional/instructional yoga take C1 to C1.5, more challenging yoga with arm balances and inversions take C2 to C3. If you would like to get a full body stretch there is a hot power fusion and core restore class. For hyped up cardio yoga check out sculpt. All of the instructors are very knowledgable and have different personalities and all have awesome playlists to pair with your practice. Try the different classes and instructors during your first free week! You will find a class made for you. I love that there are classes from early morning and all hours of the day. I immediately made the decision to become a black tag member. This is unlimited classes in all studios for a monthly fee of $140. I have visited into the Kailua for a lunch session, early morning at Kahala and evening class at Ward. So convenient to be able to pop in for a class and get ready for your day. There are showers, toiletries and lockers available. Thank you to all of the phenomenal instructors for making CPY so much fun and welcoming place. I have been going here for over 6 years, but the new management is pathetic. The manager (mary) of the studio does not even know how to work the app and on top of that, apparently she said if you want to terminate your account at the end of the month, she cannot do that. She (Mary) can only terminate your account right then and there, and therefore you cannot finish your month that you already paid for. The amount they charge for a black tag membership is no longer worth it. The teaching quality over the last few months has been very poor, which could be due to the new mediocre management. After 6 years of attending, I am gladly cancelling my membership at the end of the month until there is new management and better quality teachers. read more

CorePower Yoga is unlike many yoga studios I've tried out in the past. Yes it's a "corporate kind, box studio...(gym.."gasp!") but there is something to be said about this type. Yes, they flow quite fast here and not everyone, including myself breath the same pace as that of a symphonic orchestra. To clarify (since it's hard to find info on what their classes entail) the class descriptions: C1 Beginners class or a back to foundation kind of class with no heat (although room may already be warm from a previous class. C1.5 Advance beginner class 88-91 Degrees Added Humidity C2 - Intermediate class 95-98 Degrees Added Humidity C3 - Advanced class 95-98 degrees Added Humidity Yoga Sculpt (YS) - Yoga WITH weights 92-95 Degrees No Added Humidity Hot Power Fusion (HPF) 100-103 Degrees Added Humidity Hot Yoga (HY) 102-104 Degrees Added Humidity Facility overall: CLEAN, TOWEL & MAT RENTALS, FULL BATHROOM FACILITY. The EXPERIENCE: I love the heat! Nothing like having a "headstart" warming up before a workout. I love leaving this place completely drenched in my sweat and visualizing that it's my fat melting off. First things first though when taking ANY yoga class - just CHECK YOUR EGO at the door and proceed at your own pace...with your OWN practice. Like I mentioned above, the sequences are fast and if you're looking to melt and grow into the pose and holds, you won't find it here. It's almost like speed yoga LOL!! I find that the free practice classes the new instructors teach to be pretty decent with lots of instructions and hands on from the teachers. PARKING: Go early to find a spot in the structure that houses TJMaxx, Pier 1, Nordstrom Rack and South Shore stores. I joined Corepower as a member after previously just going to classes here and there over the years. I have found my last month to be incredibly transformative from the inside out. I have specifically enjoyed the sculpt classes which are basically heated HITT workouts with weights. At first I was scared to try the class filled with super fit people, but I soon realized the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and encouraging. The location is really great because you can park in the parking structure for TJMAX, and Nordstrom rack and just walk right to the studio. I also love how clean the locker rooms are, (I always see staff cleaning!) If your hesitant about starting because you're not a "yogi" or have been previously intimidated like myself by corepower, or similar studios I really encourage you to try this studio! SO GOOD. I'm writing this review after frequenting the CorePower Ward location for a couple of summers. I never thought to write CorePower a review, but after attending classes at a CorePower studio on the mainland I felt obligated to because it's soo much better in Hawaii. Let me tell you, the teachers here are the best you will find. I'm convinced. Whether you're looking for a good and intense workout in sculpt, a deep stretch in core restore, or just beginning your practice in C1, there is a class for everyone here. The ward studio has 2 rooms which is awesome because there are so many classes to choose from all day long. My personal favorites are the sculpt classes and C2 with live music. Yes! Flowing to live music! Doesn't get much better than that. The instructors are inspiring and have awesome energies. Even when I take sculpt, I leave class feeling so grounded and centered. Not sure if this is a Hawaii thing, but the Honolulu CorePower studios really have a sense of family and community. Cheesy, ugh I know, but I don't know how else to put it! The studio itself is pretty clean, especially considering how busy this location is. There are about 4 showers with shampoo and body wash. There are also hair dryers and other random bathroom necessities like cotton rolls, lotion, etc. Lockers and locks are available for use as well. Parking is easy and located in the south shore parking lot. I will say, classes are expensive, but there are class packs to make it cheaper or even unlimited yoga memberships if you frequent CorePower enough. Your membership is also good for any studio on the island (kapolei and kahala) as well as in the nation (good for travelers!). Go ahead and try a free week, it's so worth it! read more

It's been awhile since I've written an update about my CorePower Yoga experience and I'm happy to report I still love it! I have a blacktag membership which means it's unlimited yoga at any of their locations on island or in the Mainland. After reading a bunch of 1-star reviews of this studio, I will tell you that if you're a yoga purist, this might not be the spot for you. It's definitely a commercial yoga studio, but that's actually what I love about it. No matter what city I visit for work or vacation, I know I'll be able to visit a nearby CorePower Yoga studio and get the quality workout I'm used to in a clean studio. The main reason to be a member at this studio is the number of studios you can visit (three on island - Ward, Kahala & Kailua) and the variety of class times. As a working mother of three, I often take the 6am/630am classes, but often fit in a class after I drop off my kids to school and even a late night 845pm class to destress. Flexibility in class times is huge for me and I've found that there are very few studios that offer the same volume as CorePower. I'm purely here for the workout! The worst thing about the Ward studio is that after work and weekend mornings classes, especially sculpt, are insanely popular, so the studio is often packed to the brim and you'll even get turned away. I don't ever get a chance to take classes at this time because I'm busy playing chauffeur to my children, so it's not an issue for me. If being really close to another person's mat really bothers you, then you probably need to take even more yoga. It's busy and learning to not allow the stresses and inconveniences of life bother you, are kind of what yoga is all about. The studio is not the cleanest, but I suspect this is because it's cleaned by fellow yogis who do work trade. It doesn't bother me, but I don't ever shower at the studio. You definitely need to pad time in your schedule to find parking especially if it's during busy shopping times at the mall. I usually give myself at least 30 minutes before class time so I don't have to risk getting locked out of class and end up completely stressed. I usually just park on the top level rather than circle the parking lot. Blacktag membership is $209 (I think), but I pay $139 because of a work discount, but you can get that price if you're an HMSA member as well. If you don't want to commit to a membership, they also usually sell class packs at a discount during the holidays which tend to be a good deal! A single class is $28 which is kind of cray cray. I absolutely adore CorePower yoga! The classes are a great way to wind down your day or start it. All the teachers I have had are good and know what they are doing. Of course there are a teachers that stand out and I make it a point to come to as many classes as I can each week where one of my favorites is teaching. I definitely recommend starting with C1. It's definitely still a workout, yet it's a good way to learn the basics. I mostly attend C1 classes because the time is easier to fit into my schedule and I'm seriously lacking some upper body strength. I also go to a couple C2 classes a week for the challenge and to learn some different poses. The good thing about yoga is if your struggling just head into child's pose. No one is judging. I have not had a problem with overcrowding that other people on her seem to have. That may just be because I come to either the first or last class of the day. Now the price.... it's steep no way other way to describe. But in my opinion it's totally worth it if you are going to multiple classes a week. This review will be on Corepower Yoga as a whole since I think both locations are pretty much the same. Honestly yoga is really not my thing but since I'm back into fitness mode, I figure it wouldn't hurt to incorporate it into my workout routine. Plus it was on groupon so perfect way to try it out! So this is my second week at Corepower Yoga. I've been to both Kahala and Ward location. I like that they are convenient for me (Ward is closer to my workplace and Kahala is closer to home). Parking is also easy to find since they are located in a mall. I took a beginning class at Kahala first with Travis (I think his name was?) He was a good instructor but when it came to asking him questions afterwards, seemed like he didn't know much. I'm guessing he was new? Nonetheless he was very nice and welcoming. Actually all the instructors I've taken so far have been good. I especially liked sculpt yoga at Ward. I forget the instructors name but he was a male. I think sculpt was my favorite class so far cause it's a lot more upbeat and fast plus you use weights. Another thing I like about Corepower is that it's heated. I love the fact that you sweat like crazy! Feels like you're really working your body out. Even though I'm not a huge yoga fan, I definitely like the spiritual side of it and really feeling good about yourself. Definitely a great stress reliever. I am not at all flexible but it's fine cause they don't make you do anything you can't do and you don't feel stupid for not being able to do it. Although I do wish I could get that frog pose down! Now the reason for it being 3 stars is that I think it's way overpriced for a membership!!! I think it's $110 or something depending on if you are a student or not. I know a few friends that are members and I can't believe how much they pay! I am happily at UFC gym and pay less than $30 a month. No they don't offer heated yoga but they do have yoga and a variety of classes. I just can't bring myself to pay $100-$200 on yoga classes. What also surprises me is for the amount you pay for a membership, they still charge you for a towel n mat! Kind of crazy considering most gyms give that for free. I will say I do like the cleanliness of the studio. But I also felt that it was kind of small. It feels especially cramped when the class is really full. Although I am enjoying my experience here, I know I won't be back after my 1 month is over. Sorry it is just way overpriced! read more

I absolutely love CORE POWER YOGA. I'm hooked. I have the black tag membership and pay about $160 per month. It is sooo worth it if you practice yoga 3-4 times or more per week. What's great is the class times are all day, every day; so at any time of day there is a class for you and you can go to any studio (this includes the mainland since w ein Hawaii pay so much more for our membership than most other states). If you're a first-timer, you'll need a mat, yoga towel, your own small towel, a hair tie, and a water bottle. They will loan you a mat and towel for your first class if you don't have these items yet. You will be sweaty or drenched in sweat after class, so bring an extra shirt or clothes to change in if you choose to shower on site. I cannot say that I have a favorite instructor because I have been to so many different classes and each instructor has their own unique qualities that make me really enjoy their classes. As of now, my favorite C2 instructors are Tara, Cecilia, Erin, and Riley. My only issues with Core Power are: 1. The parking structure, if you come to a PM peak time class between 3-7pm parking, parking will be very difficult since the parking structure is for all of Ward Center. Once I drove around for 18 mins before finding a spot on the top floor (so arrive early)! Riding your scooter (moped) over if you live in town is much more easier! This includes Kahala Mall. AM classes before the mall opens are much easier to find parking. 2. Scuplt early 5-7AM (before work) and (after work) 5-7 PM classes can be insanely packed! If you are a person who is bugged by tight spaces you may not enjoy this. I often go to C2 instead to avoid the large crowd and other people's sweat dripping on me (LOL). 3. The bathrooms can get pretty hectic before work and only have about 5 showers. So you may have to wait like 8 mins or so to jump in. All showers come equipped with soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. So just bring a towel and your change of clothes. Lockers are provided and they do offer loaner locks if you do not have your own, but I'd bring your own cause loaner locks are often out. The getting ready for work part is pretty jammed! If you have to blow dry your hair or apply make-up in the mirrors you may be bothered by the crowd. But if you're a simple type of girl who doesn't need all the glam and can just dress and go you'll be good to go. 4. Core Power does a great job at keeping the facilities clean in-between classes, however, some members can be pretty filthy in the not in-between times. You'll often see huge chunks of hair in showers from ladies who got their hair all tied up and knotted in scrunchies and decided to rip it out then leave their wads of hair there for you to see and step on. GROSS! You'll also see used travel size shampoo bottles or razors. Some ladies can be pretty inconsiderate of others, but for the most part, most ladies are respectful and clean, so DO NOT BE THAT PERSON, pick up your junk! 5. No classes for pregnant moms. I'm pregnant and realize I'll eventually need to switch over to a studio that offers prenatal yoga until after the baby. Sculpt was a bit too hectic for me in my first trimester so I only take C2 classes now. Overall if you're into Yoga or looking to get into it, this is a great place for you. Classes are geared to the yoga novice (C1), more advanced (C2) or high-intensity cardio and yoga (sculpt) yogi. read more

Awesome classes, friendly professional teachers, clean new studio, and lots of extras; this is a great place to come for yoga whether relaxation or to workout. I attended the Kahala last Sunday with a friend and started my free week of classes. I had no idea by today I'd be hooked and sign up for a black tag membership. Since this was my first week, all the classes were free. They are open every day of the week, with class times all day. Most classes run one hour, but the rooms are available to stretch before and stay after to cool down and meditate. There are many teachers and each brings a different energy and pace to the classes. I can't wait to try more and figure out which are my favorite (I've so far enjoyed HPF and C3 the best). This facility is brand new. It's super clean and nicely developed. There are shoe cubbies at the door. The men's room is well designed and comfortable. There are multiple showers and lockers (bring your own lock or rent one). Shampoo, body wash, conditioner, q-tips, tissues, etc., are all provided as are bags for your sweaty clothes after class. A store is available for all your yoga accessories. I also love the drinking fountains with water-bottle filling stations. Rates are affordable and many packages are available. I opted for the black tag unlimited membership, which comes to less than $10/class if you average 3x a week. Ask about discounts for many things, and make sure to take advantage of the free week to make sure you like the school. It's a convenient location, right around the corner from TJMaxx and Nordstrom Rack at Ward, free parking is plentiful as are bus stops. read more

The Ward location has always been a favorite and especially now with Mary as the manager. Mary cares about the studio and the clients and it shows. With all the craziness with pandemic causing staff shortages she has worked hard at minimizing class cancellations while offering value added events. Loved the sound event and how she brought in other folks to create out a healthy full life approach to being the best we can be. Love it!!! read more
